Use Mindlash and Hollowhead to put Morophon in the yard, Unearth Morophon and play or Unearth The First Sliver. Dump your entire deck with haste and flying. AV is a cute optional piece to make every Cascade chain end in a Recall.
Use Basal Sliver to shuffle around Slivers in the wrong place: sac an extra Mindlash to Unearth Harmonic, for instance. Or just build up black mana to spend on the colorless parts of costs.
This is also what I'm working on. Will report any developments. Things I know so far. Mana sliver plus haste sliver is amazing. Must have hibernation to keep going. Basil works great with mana sliver. Basically makes 1 mana of any color
Hibernation Sliver is fantastic, I would play 3-4 since it also protects you from removal. Probably over Visions, there's no need for Recalls when you have infinite Cascade. Probably need Darkheart or similar to keep paying for the bounces.

Any more of this, and Team Troll will be more than just a name.
First iteration of the deck looks like this
By turn 4 we can destroy some opp permanents or champblock with deathtouch. From there we can destroy something each turn while amassing slivers.
It certainly looks interesting and entertaining. Let me know how it goes? I might want to try The First Sliver in here some where. I agree with the Gut Shot, but might want to add dismember as well for Thing and other large creatures. I might want to have some lifegain in the main with Darkheart preferably due to dregscape or the new lavacoil sliver. I might add some Telekinetic Slivers as well for another way to lock up the game where Necrotic Sliver might not be as good.
Why not mana confluence or 2 canopy lands for Aether hubs
Last time Slivers were Standard, I used to play the tribe along with 2 or 3 Athreos. I was effectively locking Midrange and Control in a situation where they were at first bolting themselves every time they were trying to remove a Sliver, until their life was getting too low. Then, each removal or sweeper was just bouncing my Slivers in hand. This translated into inevitability after a few turns. I cashed in more times than I recall with that strategy.
The fact that Athreos is within Vial range, and can be played with CoCo, makes the God of Passage a real possibility for this deck.

I think that more cute than functional. Slivers works best as a aggro deck.
But, hey, I wont discourage anyone from brewing. Try it out, and tell us.
Basal Sliver, Darkheart Sliver, Cautery Sliver... Also if you want to play The First Sliver, with mana slivers on play you can play them again basically if they decide not to pay the 3 lifes. And, maybe an interesting card for those slivers already in the graveyard, Rally the Ancestors, with mana slivers, you can add the colors pretty easily, sacrifice them afterwards and the if opponent pays 3 lifes, you can return them to play. I remember once playing the old UW control that played Supreme Verdict, and when tapped because I only had one card in hand, I returned them all and kill him.
I’m more high on Necrotic and Darkheart Slivers + Athreos. There’s a lot more value in sacrificing a Sliver for a permanent or a card (than for mana or 1 damage).
I’m seriously considering The First Sliver instead of CoCo in my deck. Even with 30+ creatures, CoCo can fizzle or hit only 1 creature (based on a true story). On the other hand, The First Sliver can’t miss and for 1 extra mana, will always add at worst 7/7 to the battlefield + Cascade on all future Slivers + Vial. At best, Vial will be any Sliver instead. Even at 5 mana, it can be cast as fast as CoCo on turn 3 (any 1 drop + Manaweft + 3rd land on T3 = tap for 5). Actually, I also think The First Sliver instead of CoCo can do wonders to our manabase :
New to Modern slivers, but I play slivers in Pauper.
Why don't I see Aether Vial in any lists in the last few pages?
It seems like a perfect fit in a deck that wants to swarm, and especially in decks without Gemhide or Manaweft can help boost the early game and support the top end if you end up in the later game.

Very curious...
Hi, welcome to the forum!
I think that was just a coincidence, I mean, last few there are some Fast Slivers list that don't run them and some new brews of the deck people was testing, me included, and then came the spoilers of Modern Horizons with slivers and more list start appearing with focus around The First Sliver and Dregscape Sliver to try a new mechanic with slivers.
The Collected Sliver list run 4 AEther Vial, Manaweft Sliver and sometimes a number of Gemhide Sliver and it seems it's the most common list around, it's just that the last few pages there where not as many CoCo Sliver list posted as usual.
Ah, that makes sense. I'll admit I didn't dig too far back in the thread.
What sliver list do I want to build? At this point I want to learn. What are my options? My pauper list is pretty basic - I don't get to play it very often...
4 vials, 4 caverns, 4 hive and 4 unclaimed territory. And add 4 mana generator slivers. It should not be difficult to cast.
While I exaggerated mana problems, they exist for sure to the point people exclude Mutavault from their lists. Ive never seen a list with 4 unclaimed territory and those that play it do it in exchange of Mutavaults. RW are least played colors in traditional build and adding RW sliver wont make mana situation better.
I've been looking at getting slivers together for a bit and now, with MH, I've decided to pull the trigger. What's the difference in "Fast Slivers" and other sliver builds? Aren't they all meant to go fast?
Fast Slivers are meant to attack with everything each turn and can consistently goldfish by turn 4.
Traditional build uses Collected Company, Necrotic Sliver, Manaweft Sliver and Sedge Sliver so it pros and cons come from this: its more versatile and more powerful on later turns, has some wrath protection, but it has inconsistent and painful manabase and lacks speed which when combined with lack of control and card advantage results in low winrates.
It was announced several days ago that in July this site will be shutting down. I encourage all members to check out the modern slivers page on Facebook or the discord channel for future sliver discussions. Links provided below.
I’m more high on Necrotic and Darkheart Slivers + Athreos. There’s a lot more value in sacrificing a Sliver for a permanent or a card (than for mana or 1 damage).
The above is all wrong. I somehow completely got confused between Darkheart Sliver and Mindlash Sliver. And even more, because I forgot that Mindlash is « each player » and not « each opponent ». Still, it is probably good to put together Darkheart and Athreos. Even if opponent chooses to bounce the Sliver back in our hand, we can gain 3 life per mana if we have any 1 drop in play. Basically, every Sliver becomes either a Lightning Helix or a repeatable +3 life sorcery.
I just realized that multiple instances of Cascade stack. Playing 4 The First Sliver now makes sense. The first copy played is an overpriced/overpowered CoCo. But any additional copy in hand is not a dead card because you’ll Cascade twice before the legendary rule forces you to sacrifice one of the two (the tapped one, always). While CoCo may sometimes let you choose the best Slivers if you see more than 2 in the top 6 cards, cascading twice will never fizzle and always net you 2 cards (well, getting 2 Vial can be considered a fizzle, but that is less likely than hitting 1 or 0 creature with CoCo).
I may be wrong, but I’m very high on The First Sliver. We may need full playset of both Manaweft and Gemhide to reliably cast it on turn 3, but I feel it is well worth it. Cascade into Cloudshredder, and you’re attacking for 8 with flying and haste on turn 3 (or 12 if 1-drop was played on T2 with Vial, and Predatory Sliver joins the party on T3, again with the help of Vial).
It really is a powerful sliver... But i'm not sure if i'll exchange 4 collective slots for 4 the first sliver.. maybe i'll try 2 collective and 2 first sliver
It really is a powerful sliver... But i'm not sure if i'll exchange 4 collective slots for 4 the first sliver.. maybe i'll try 2 collective and 2 first sliver
maybe you are right... but IMHO, it’s one or the other, not both. The 1st Sliver is a dead card for CoCo, and CoCo needs colored mana (so less golden lands). I’m still trying to find the right mix of cards... not an easy task.
I figured 8 1-drops are required (as in Humans) for a better curve (either to cast on T1 or throught Vial on T2.).
I believe 8 manadorks are needed to reliably cast The First Sliver on turn 3.
i wouldn’t play less than 3 Necrotic Sliver, but I guess 4 isn’t a bad number. Destroying all opponent’s lands starting turn 4 seems like a too good opportunity to inevitably win a few turns later, even if I’m down a few creatures.
I think, just my experience by testing yesterday some new slivers as proxies, that Dregscape Sliver is one of the most wondeful slivers now. Your evasion creatures (galerider or cloud) will almost always get removed. On late game, you can just retrieve them again from graveyard and finish your opponent.
I was doing T1 vial, T2 cloud + striking, T3 mana sliver + other sliver... It was really feeling so good to play. Also my deck was playing 3 Spiteful Sliver, which will make your opponent force to focus him to remove before any other in the battlefield.
My list was the following (without mana and sideboard still):
I like what you’re doing with Spiteful Sliver and Blasphemous Act! Could you replace Blasphemous Act for Radiant Flames? The output wouldn’t be the same with Spiteful Sliver, but with so much lords, your team may even survive the sweeper and deal tons of damage. Add Syphon Sliver, and gain that much life...
Is Sliver Legion necessary? Seeems like a win-more card to me...
You only play one 1-drop and 4 Vial, and absolutely no disruption (Diffusion, Necrotic). I fear this is not enough for Modern...
Leading with Vial and Diffusion Sliver on T2 is not the most explosive start, but it’s one of the most satisfying. Given that it will inherit all the abilities of any other Slivers you cast, but protect itself and the all the next ones, it’s a safe bet and Midrange or Control are likely to lose a turn if they draw-go in the hope of removing a creature EOT.
I also reduced the number of mana-dorks from 8 to 4, and added two of each : Sentinel, Dregscape and Athreos. Sacrificing a Sliver to Necrotic’s ability while Athreos is on the battlefield is an amazing play. If opponent takes 3 damage and Dregscape joins the party, we can really make them suffer! Sentinel is a nice addition to the list, mainly to allow us continue attacking and still get to pool a lot of mana for Necrotic and Sliver Hive.
I’m more confident this list can lead to great results than my previous one, although I admit it lacks the explosive power of a list with Sedge Sliver.
I would still prefer playing Blasphemous Act, just for preventing if we play against some Soul Sister deck, because maybe they go up in lifes quickly and it's not enough with another card.
About the Diffusions, in my local store meta, it's not very effective, mass removal, UW terminus and cryptics... But I should try to make a spot for Necrotic Sliver.
About Athreos, God of Passage and Dregscape Sliver... If you unearth a creature and gets destroyed, Athreos would not save it, because unearth will exile it no matter what.
About Athreos, God of Passage and Dregscape Sliver... If you unearth a creature and gets destroyed, Athreos would not save it, because unearth will exile it no matter what.
I know that. But with Athreos in play, you can sacrifice a Sliver with Necrotic’s ability, and either rinse and repeat if opponent puts the creature back in our hand, or if they choose to lose 3 life, we can unearth the Sliver in the graveyard and sac it right away to destroy another permanent. Of course it will be exiled then, but we’ll still have destroyed two permanents for the cost of one card. Against Midrange and Control, Athreos allows us to effectively overload or tax their removals and sweepers (they’ll opt for the graveyard 3 times, and already be down half their life... the rest is no big deal for Aggro). Add Necrotic Sliver to the deal, and we can just destroy all their lands before cruising to the finish line. Against Aggro, chances are we can turn Athreos into an indestructible creature. Pretty handy to block without fear, or to attack and kill a blocker every turn until the tides turn in our favor.
A bit of a silly question, but I assume that the sideboard in a deck like this would mostly be utility slivers like Harmonic (against affinity), Syphon/Darkheart (against Burn), Venom or Quilled (against go-wide creature-heavy decks) Slivers? Ghostflame would be a cute addition against a Tron-heavy meta to help protect your dudes against Ugin.
This looks like a deck I'd like to put together and give a shot, which is why I'm asking about the sideboard. I'd need to pick up the slivers and hives, but I already have the rest of the landbase and the vials.

There are two main list around which are Fast Sliver and Collected Slivers.
Timba wrote a bit about the decks on the last few pages:
But since the spoilers new list are being brewed so expect a few changes to the lists.
Also:
You are correct. I meant to say dormant sliver is needed to keep on going. Sorry for the misunderstanding guys.
Thay last list has 4 mana slivers but no gemhides. I would suggest a blend so that way detention effects aren't as crippling.
