I don't understand how every new deck made in the modern forms has these kind of matchups. Either your testing against suboptimal decks or your playing against suboptimal opponents. If you deck is better then 50% against everything other than combo and better then 50% against everything post board there is no reason people would play other decks. How is it not obvious that this data is clearly skewed by some factor.
I'm not trying to put down your primer I just see this in every new deck primer and I think it's worth stating that it is clearly not true or every one of these decks would be the best deck and the majority of the field would be playing it.
Edit -- n/m I see someone else already mentioned this.
Once again, I see the edit, but the results are coming down over time as I test against more and more of the field. The results are always skewed before there has been a LOT of testing.
Wrath as a 2 of? Not sure we can make that. Doesnt look too consistant when you need it, and will be drawn into after your enchantresses are in play. Is that really the right call? Like I said before, im not playing this deck, so dont know. It just looks like it would have the same problems that aggro control has running them as a two of. Some builds its ok though.
Now that you have more playtesting time how has the %s changed?
I considered it, but I, as you said, found it far too slow. One thing I have not added yet however, is Privileged Position which I feel is the same speed yet is significantly better in that it protects our other enchantments.
No, I left them out of my deck, opting for more of a prison style variant. With greater auramancy, rancor gives them shroud anyways for one less mana with the same effect and even a pump.
I was thinking about this list the other day and i thought i would give it a try. I never won a single match unfortunately. So i thought about some additions that could be added to make it for consistent. I will post the deck list once i get home.
I've gone with Hyena Umbra as Enchantress protection for a number of reasons. Once you have Greater Auramancy out, the only way to kill it is with a wrath effect, and Hyena Umbra stops that once. First Strike isn't necessarily irrelevant either, as it turns an Enchantress into a weenie blocker.
Sphere of Safety from RTR is perfect in this deck. It's a tad slow, but extremely strong and worth it as a 2-of. The maindeck can hold it's own again a variety of strategies, and the sideboard shores up the matchups. Mass Enchantment removal is nonexistant from sideboard, so once Greater Auramancy lands, we're relatively safe.
I wouldn't have wanted to try an aggro version, but with the addition of two auras, it might now be possible. I refer to the reprinting of rancor and the addition of ethereal armor. Ancestral mask lite works well in an aura style deck!
Yeah, I'm going to have to brew up my own list since RTR had lots of enchantment love. Not sure on UW Prison or GW Aggro. I'll try to give it a whirl and post my results in a couple of weeks.

This deck can definitely run two different ways. An aggro version opens you up to 2-for-1's (would be much better if Ancestral Mask and Armadillo Cloak were legal), but it's still doable. With a prison-style deck, I believe there is enough hate for the meta available.
I'm running a prison version at a GPT on the 21st. I'll report the results.
shimmering wings is a better aura card to activate the sigil of the empty throne.. it can bounce itself and recasted a few times making it a very good card in this deck
i tried out an enchantress deck once in t2, while it was still legal with scars block... andForced Worship might have been THE card that made the deck work. i am STUNNED not to find it here. It´s pseudo removal and is an engine with enchantress

That card seems really bad compared to choices like Ghostly Prison, Sphere of Safety, and Prison Term. It's also really slow to be an "engine" with Enchantress. A better choice for that would be Mana Bloom.
