When you look at the deck that comes up in mtggoldfish as the latest highest placing deck for Eldrazi Tron almost half the cost of the deck is in 6 cards. 2 Karn Liberated and 4 Chalice of the Voids. The rest of the deck I have a good portion of or is pretty affordable. I know those 2 cards are really really good, but is there anything that kind of replaces them at a lower budget to where I could slowly build up to all the actual parts of the deck?
a cheaper chaliss i can think of is Thorn of Amethyst or trinisphere, (thats what i used back in the days of eye of ugin since i only owned 1 chalice and it did pretty good)
but to replace karn, i have no idea, maybe spine of ish sah lol just kiding, i dont think there is a budget version of karn....
For Karn i would maybe switch it With Ugin(Not Budget but cheaper) There is no card like Chalice that is that powerful but Thorn of Amethyst, Sphere of Resistance or trinisphere,
You could run the aforementioned Thorns (Sphere of Resistance is not legal sadly, and Trinisphere seems kind of slow). For Karn replacements, Ugin is great but expensive. There is also Newlamog, and All is Dust is another fine inclusion. I personally would run a split of Ulamog and All is Dust. I also think Kozilek, the Great Distortion is a fun card to play, especially in a deck like this that wants to have more gas. If you want a super cheap option, you could make the Karns a flex slot, with cards like Warping Wail, which are surprisingly good because of how many 1/X's and X/1's are in the format, and the ability to counter a spell is always nice. You've got plenty of options, so go with what seems best!

Play some cheap annihilator guys like Ulamog's Crusher. or even Bane of Gala Ged, and these things work with Eldrazi Temple and isn't a dead. card like Karn can be sometimes.
Just leave the Chalices out. You don't need to replace them directly. Lots of people run them in the sideboard anyway, and not everyone runs 4. You can run Basilisk Collar, Ratchet Bomb, Spatial Contortion in the main deck in their place.
Endbringer is a cheap card that can fill out the remaining big creature spots - just run 4 instead of 2 or 3. The Annihilators as recommend above are good suggestions.
You can build a good deck for under $400, but it's still not going to be "budget".
2x All Is Dust
3x Dismember
4x Eldrazi Temple
2x Endbringer
4x Expedition Map
2x Ghost Quarter
4x Hangarback Walker
4x Matter Reshaper
3x Mind Stone (WTH)
4x Reality Smasher
3x Sanctum of Ugin
1x Sea Gate Wreckage
4x Thought-Knot Seer
1x Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger
4x Urza's Mine
4x Urza's Power Plant
4x Urza's Tower
3x Warping Wail
2x Wastes
2x Wurmcoil Engine
instead of chalice of the void i play hangarback walkers because they are actually quite powerful, more aggressive and bait the spells that chalice would otherwise counter such as path to exile.
Instead of Karn you can run ugin, karn in my opinion is not necessary for the deck to perform well. Especially with great eldrazi creatures such as endbringer and ulamog.
I have ratchet bombs in the sideboard as well to also help in ways that karn does, and to help against burn or shadow decks with low cost creatures.
the deck above is pretty effective and i highly recomend it if you do not want to buy chalices and karn.
I will eventually get karn and the chalices however i may not becuase the deck still performs really well and is arguably a more aggressive option.
