I consider replacing some of the 2-drops in the deck.
Are any of these worth including over the creatures that I currently run: Kor Aeronaut (I got no flying guys), Topan Freeblade (Renown+Vigilance), Kazandu Blademaster (Vigilance+First Strike and self-pump) or Consul's Lieutenant (First Strike+Renown+attacking creatures boost) ?
An upgrade for this deck could be to run Kytheon, Hero of Akros and Ranger of Eos. You can drop Ranger to fetch Kytheon off of a Preeminent Captain trigger or just drop Kytheon.

In the list I put together I didn't include Porcelain Legionnaire so that is where I would start. I didn't include Odric either. His ability is good but he's too slow IMO.
If it came down to buying Brimaz vs. Kytheon I am not sure which I would go with. Brimaz can take over a game by itself. Kytheon can as well but Brimaz requires less work to get there so I'd probably start there but I also think that Kytheon is one of the best reasons to play a Soldiers deck.

Odric won't trigger off of preeminent captain because it is an on attack trigger. When he's put into play, he's already attacking, and is past the trigger by this point.
Out of all of those 2 drops Consul's Lieutenant is probably the best since it naturally has first strike and pumps all of your other dudes. The kor isn't great since he only gives one of your guys flying for one turn, Brave the elements is way better.
If you are looking for more 2 drops Fencing Ace is a pretty fun one. His double strike goes really well with all of the power pumping soldiers you have and he can win games out of no where on his own.
You can probably get away with switching 1 Captain of the Watch for something else. I've played a bunch of games now with 2 and found out that I almost never cast them for their mana cost. Pretty much 100% put into play off the captain.
I have a Tribal Soldier Deck as well and was wondering what you all think of having Enlistment Officer as a 2 of. It helps reloading your hand and you rarely pay the 4 Mana due to Preeminent Captain...

Would be a nice option, but it's not Modern legal, unfortunately.

You can go here and see all of the modern legal sets and what cards are banned in the format. All of the legal cards go back to 8th Edition.
As for the deck, what about Benalish Commander as a lategame manasink. Even if you make X=3 you are still getting a lot for just the 5 mana. And when he comes off of suspend he has haste which is always good.
Or about about Launch the Fleet/Militia's Pride? They're a way of grinding out an advantage when the board is in a stalemate.
Fabled Hero seems to be one of the better soldier beaters (and can get big with all the Anthem effects) with his double strike and although this isn't an Heroic deck I consider adding it, is it a good idea ?
Is it worth it to splash in another color to improve the deck ?
If so then which one ? (or two)
Problem with Fabled Hero is that he costs 3 mana and we don't have any way to make him bigger from his ability. If you want a double striker then toss in a copy of Fencing Ace. You get the same card at 1 less mana. I have 1 in my online list and have done 6-10 damage from him coming in off a Captain!
I haven't played with Militia's Pride before. Its the type of card that you would want in your sideboard to bring in against a deck with a lot of removal like Jund or one of the control decks. For those I have been using the original Elspeth (or you could use the new one) who can make a soldier token a turn or do more and is tricky to remove.
If I get a chance I'll upload some games that I played online.
My most recent list looks like:
And about the Mono-White list:
1. Is Cenn's Tactician a good 1-drop option or is he too slow ?
2. Court Street Denizen's ability seems rather good for a mono-white list and she is a soldier to boot, should I include her ?
If you can slot in 4 copies of Thalia. One issue the de k has is its slow to combo and when an opponent gets to play multiple removals in a turn we tend to lose. Thalia helps fix both of these issues.

I have Dryad Militant in this slot which is better (and Soldier of the Pantheon in the Sb).
Oblivion Ring is good as a SB card in my opinion.
Here is the current version that I'm running:
3x Captain of the Watch
1x Odric, Master Tactician
4x Thalia, Guardian of Thraben
4x Field Marshal
4x Ballyrush Banneret
4x Preeminent Captain
4x Dryad Militant
4x Veteran Swordsmith
3x Porcelain Legionnaire
2x Journey to Nowhere
Instant (6)
4x Brave the Elements
2x Dismember
Land (21)
3x Forbidding Watchtower
18x Plains
I consider replacing some of the 2-drops in the deck.

Kor Aeronaut (I got no flying guys), Topan Freeblade (Renown+Vigilance), Kazandu Blademaster (Vigilance+First Strike and self-pump) or Consul's Lieutenant (First Strike+Renown+attacking creatures boost) ?
Also, is Cathedral of War or maybe Ghost Quarter a good addition for this deck ?

He is rather expensive and for this price I'd rather get Brimaz, King of Oreskos which wasn't included due to budget (like Mutavault and Elspeth, Knight-Errant).
I don't have many 1-drops so Ranger of Eos seems unnecessary (and expensive too).
The card that I would probably replace is Porcelain Legionnaire.
Consul's Lieutenant and Kor Aeronaut seem like the most suitable replacements (but Kazandu Blademaster/Elite Inquisitor and Topan Freeblade seem rather good too).

If I get Elspeth, Knight-Errant I'll replace him.
What do you think about the 2-drops that I mentioned ?
I'm also interested in seeing your list.
Credit to DolZero for this awesome sig!

-2x Journey to Nowhere, +2x Path to Exile
-1x Odric, Master Tactician, +1x Brimaz, King of Oreskos (I need to get at least one)
-3x Porcelain Legionnaire, +3x Consul's Lieutenant
I also consider dropping 1x Forbidding Watchtower for 1x Elspeth, Knight-Errant.
And maybe replace 1x Captain of the Watch with Elspeth, Knight-Errant or Brimaz, King of Oreskos (which can replace 1x Veteran Swordsmith as well).
The updated version will look like this:
3x Captain of the Watch
1x Brimaz, King of Oreskos
4x Thalia, Guardian of Thraben
4x Field Marshal
4x Ballyrush Banneret
4x Preeminent Captain
4x Dryad Militant
4x Veteran Swordsmith
3x Consul's Lieutenant
4x Brave the Elements
2x Dismember
2x Path to Exile
Land (21)
3x Forbidding Watchtower
18x Plains

MTGO/MTGA: Tyclone
My Primers ~ GWx Vizier Company ~ Knightfall ~ RG Eldrazi ~ Green's Sun's Zenith
More Brews ~ Modern Four Horsemen ~ Gitrog Dredge
-2x Dismember, +2x Path to Exile
-1x Thalia, Guardian of Thraben, +1 Brimaz, King of Oreskos
-1x Forbidding Watchtower, +1x Elspeth, Knight-Errant
-1x Dryad Militant, +1x Kytheon, Hero of Akros
I also consider adding Militia's Pride.
Possibly instead of another copy of Thalia.
Is it MB worthy ?
Another card which seems interesting for this deck is Veteran's Armaments, is it any good and should I Include it in the deck as well ?
The deck looks like this for now:
3x Captain of the Watch
2x Brimaz, King of Oreskos
3x Thalia, Guardian of Thraben
4x Field Marshal
4x Ballyrush Banneret
4x Preeminent Captain
3x Dryad Militant
1x Kytheon, Hero of Akros
4x Veteran Swordsmith
3x Consul's Lieutenant
4x Brave the Elements
4x Path to Exile
Planeswalker (1)
1x Elspeth, Knight-Errant
Land (20)
2x Forbidding Watchtower
18x Plains

3 Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit
4 Preeminent Captain
4 Veteran Swordsmith
4 Field Marshal
2 Consul's Lieutenant
2 Captain of the Watch
4 Dryad Militant
4 Ballyrush Banneret
4 Brave the Elements
1 Odric, Master Tactician
2 Brimaz, King of Oreskos
18 Plains
4 Tectonic Edge
With Path to exile/sunlance in the sideboard along with Stony Silence, Kor Firewalker, Elpeth, disenchant and Jutun Grunt.
With red we can add: Boros Swiftblade, Anax and Cymede or Wojek Halberdiers and burn spells like Lightning Bolt or Lightning Helix or Boros Charm.
But I think green might be a better idea with Loxodon Smiter and Rancor
(and Dauntless Escort or Bant Sureblade or Descendants' Path or Collected Company or Lead the Stampede)
which I decided to try out together with Fabled Hero.
It looks like this:
4x Ballyrush Banneret
2x Brimaz, King of Oreskos
2x Captain of the Watch
3x Consul's Lieutenant
4x Dryad Militant
2x Fabled Hero
4x Field Marshal
4x Loxodon Smiter
4x Preeminent Captain
2x Brushland
14x Plains
4x Sunpetal Grove
Enchantment (6)
3x Honor of the Pure
3x Rancor
4x Path to Exile
Planeswalker (1)
1x Elspeth, Knight-Errant
How is it compared to the Mono-White list ?

I would replace Elite Vanguard for Soldier of the Pantheon or Champion of the Parish or Hada Freeblade or Cenn's Tactician.
And Topan Freeblade for Kazandu Blademaster (if you play Hada Freeblade) or Kor Aeronaut or Ballyrush Banneret.
Dawnbringer Charioteers is too slow and I've cut him from my heroic list as well, I would replace him with Veteran Swordsmith or Odric, Master Tactician or Court Street Denizen or Fabled Hero.
Playing 8 taplands out of 20 slows your deck down too much, 16x plain and 4x Forbidding Watchtower would work better in my opinion.
Instead of: Devouring Light, Ephemeral Shields, and Gods Willing I would play: Valorous Stance, Oblivion Ring/Journey to Nowhere, Emerge Unscathed.
I would rather go for Honor of the Pure over Raise the Alarm as well.
