Hello guys, im from Brazil, the forum of my country didn't answer me hahaha.
I'm new to the magic community, I started playing monored burn (modern format) 5 months ago, MY DECK:
- 17 Moutains
- 3 Forgotten Cave
- 4 Monastery Swiftspear
- 4 Chandra's Incinerator
- 4 Anger of the Gods
- 4 Light Up the Stage
- 1 Thunderous Wrath
- 4 Lava Spike
- 4 Rift Bolt
- 4 Skewer the Critics
- 4 Lightning Bolt
- 4 Searing Blaze
- 4 Searing Blood
====== SIDEBOARD: Skullcrack, Ratchet Bomb, Rending Volley ==========
I would like to increase my deck with the Goblin Guide card set, but I was warned that for the meta I play, Vexing Devil would fit better. Which card is best for my deck, and can I fit the two together? I accept suggestions for other cards as well (less splash because good lands are very expensive hehehe)
I only play with friends, because our decks can't scratch those of the people who play in stores (because of the lack of money haha), our meta revolves around the decks below, ordered by the difficulty I have to beat each one of them :
1- Monoblue Merfolks, with Aether Vial and counters spells
2- Monogreen Elves Aggro
3- Monoblack Rats, with discard spells
4- Monowhite Cats lifelink
5- Monowhite Tokens
Generally, when you give your opponent a choice, they choose the option better for them.

pucatrade
big receipts
alpha mox emerald
beta time walk
4 goyfs received
3 liliana of the veil
4 karn liberated
3 force of will
4 grove of the burnwillows
snapcaster mage
3 horizon canopy
2 full art damnation
Given that your meta is filled with aggro decks, I actually don't think Vexing Devil is better in your meta. There's a fair chance that your opponents on the draw will let you keep your Turn 1 Vexing Devil as a creature and then block it or even trade with it for the rest of the game, so the Devil never deals any damage to the face. At least Turn 1 Goblin Guide will dome your opponent for 2 when your opponents are on the draw.
I'd also suggest Guide as the better option. It compliments the Swiftspear in a good way. The problem with devil is they are going to pick the best option for them. Sometimes that will be taking 4 and other times it'll be letting it resolve then killing it.
I'd suggest cutting the Incinerator personally. You need lots to go right for that to work.
