Immediate ideas:
We now have 8 copies of the Bitterblossom effect for sacrifice outlet decks, including the previously spoiled Cabal Therapist for MH1, with the new Dreadhorde Invasion, Trap card or not, Cabal Therapy every turn is very powerful
One of the big drawbacks of Bitterblossom was the fact that it was dead after turn 4 if you didn't play it. Now having 8 copies of it does make it much stronger, having a very high chance to come down on turn 2 consistently. Cabal Therapist and Sorin, Vengeful Bloodlord interactions look promising.
Does new Ral interact with Grapeshot in the way I think he does? because if so, two spells into Grapeshot is lethal after he downticks: spell (3) copy (3) spell (3) grapeshot (3x3 + 3x1) = 21
EDIT: I am pretty sure it says 1 damage per spell cast or copied, not 3. That still makes for a storm 6 grapeshot kill though.
For each time you copy it (so for Storm 4 = 4 times) you will deal X additional damage (dunno if it is 3 or 1). So, a Grapeshot with 4 Storm deals 5 (1+4 Storm triggers) + 5*X damage.

Modern/Legacy
either funpolice (Delver, Deathcloud, UW Control) or the fun decks (especially those ft. Griselbrand)
That's true, it could be that the storm trigger counts as only one instance of "copying" a spell regardless of how many copies you make. If that's the case I'm not sure he's playable, especially if it is indeed 1 damage per cast/copy and not 3.
Are those walkers all confirmed? Many of the set symbols are smudged in the exact same way while the text is varying levels of smudged. Additionally, the set symbol doesn't even look like the WAR symbol as you can sort of make out the left side and top of it as being rounded opposed to spiked.
People here and on Reddit are unsurprisingly over-exaggerating the impact of Karn/Lattice. That combo is more than appropriately powered for Modern. If any element of Karn is relevant at a top-tier level, it's the ability to more reliably get Bridge or other bullets, not Lattice. Lattice is just icing. But again, this is super appropriate combo and card for Modern's high-powered metagame. Doubly so for Teferi.
Dovin's Veto is a UW uncountable Negate. This will be an instant UWx staple for decks already playing Negate. Liliana's Verdict is Diabolic Edict with not one but two upsides: it dodges Leyline and discards if you have a Lily out. This too will be SB material and may be maindeckable in the right deck and meta.

Damn, all the drama about the planeswalker leaks really made those two slam dunks go right under my radar. Dovin's Veto is going to make UWx mirrors a real pain.
Am I the only one who feels, that WAR is a little bit pushed? There are already so many modern relevant cards spoilered so far, I honestly dread what this + Horizon will do to Modern. My bet atm is: Modern will be a mess for a long period of time (cause people will need to figure again the format out).

Well, why is that a bad thing? Most cards (so far) seems relatively fair, and people have been complaining for a while about the Phoenix meta (although it seems to me like it is settling and things will be fine). It's ok to have a non-artificial shake up (as in no bans/unbans) and see where we are going from there in 6-8 months. Hopefully this will also stop the ban/unban discussion for a while as it has become extremely stale.
He's a one card combo in big mana decks. 4 mana Karn, -2, get Mycosynth Lattice, cast it for 6. Enjoy not having lands!
turning every land into an artifact land, and Null Rod Karn to shut them down. I wonder how many turns it would take tron to deploy this lockdown?
Makes me thankful there are no Tron players in the lgs I go to...
It's 10 mana lockdown. It can be deployed as soon as turn 4. Against an empty board is instant win. The +1 bombimb lands and being Affinity/Hardened Scales/Whir hate is broken. It kills Opals with the +1...
I think they pushed it a little too much.

Teferi combos with Possibility Storm to stop your opponent from casting spells. There's another combo with Possibility Storm, where you put 1-2 Emrakul and 1 Endless One in your deck, use Tolaria West to tutor the E1, then cast it when Possibility Storm is out to make it turn into Emrakul with the extra turn to boot.
Cruel Celebrant joins Blood Artist and Zulaport Cutthroat in the 2-drop Aristocrat slot. I've had a thing for that deck since Hunted Witness, so I'm probably going to slam all 3 in the same deck and see what happens. Having 2 Blood Artist effects is really hard to beat - dorks like Hunted Witness and Doomed Traveler can chump and drain twice, and once you get a critical mass of creatures and a sac outlet you can just drain them in one shot.

Ignoring all the ways you can answer the combo, INCLUDING Lightning Bolt, it's just really not that scary even on its own. Expensive, two card combos over two turns are totally fine for Modern. Vannifar is another two/"one" card combo over two turns that is equally acceptable, and that one actually wins the game. Lattice doesn't even do that much! Just look at how this lines up against Modern's best decks. It's just another strong, semi-cute line in a format packed with strong lines.
I mean how fast does Tron usually get 10 mana? Yes a 10 mana combo is irrelevant usually but that is because most decks don't get that much mana ever but that is not true for Tron.

They can go T3 new Karn, T4 Lattice. If left undisrupted, this shuts down an opponent's mana completely. But what does that do for Tron? That seems good against midrange and control, but Tron is already good against midrange and control. It doesn't do anything to stop Burn or Dredge or H1 or HS Affinity or the other aggressive decks that actually cause Tron issues. It's a small edge in an already favorable set of matchups, I.e. totally fair and appropriate for Modern.
Karn into Bridge is much more relevant. Decks that can leverage this synergy will be very successful. Lattice is a cute distraction that generates hype but won't be a significant reason for Karn's success. You can definitely rebuild the Tron engine to abuse new Karn, but Lattice is one of the less relevant factors in that deck's potential viability.

You can go Turn 3 Karn (7mana) into Turn 4 Karn (4mana)+Lattice... This line of play isn't that difficult to come up... if you play 8Karn + 4 Stirrings it's actually quite easy to pull off. There has been a non-zero amount of times that I've been Turn 3 Karn into Turn 4 Ulamog...
Against Burn for example, if you lock them out of burn spells they don't have a good way to get rid of the 4mana Karn. It's not unbeatable but it's really strong.

My concern is about Teferi, to be honest. I hadn't even considered Karn shutting off lands.
These just seem wrong.

Liliana's Triumph is a strict upgrade to Devour Flesh, Death's Shadow notwithstanding. It even gets past Leyline of Sanctity. Someone really hates Bogles...

I don't see any walkers that make me dread them in modern just yet. The format won't care about most of them
