I think you'd be able to fit the infinite damage in the same deck without making it convoluted. Isochron and a lightning bolt or Giant Growth can function on their own without going infinite.
OMG I did not realise the sceptre casts the copies, no you definitely want it as a 4 of. Even something imprinted like Sleight of Hand is awesome as it gains you a card without having to spend one and also untaps all of your rocks. You would probably want to play some of the two mana cantrips.

Whenever you cast an Aura, Equipment, or Vehicle spell, draw a card.
2/2
This effectively doubles the consistency of the Modern Cheerios deck, expect it to see some play there.
Sram's Expertise 2WW
Sorcery
Create three 1/1 colorless servo artifact tokens
You may cast a card with converted mana cost 3 or less from your hand without paying it's mana cost.
Think it could see play in BW tokens or in a UW shell. 3 tokens plus draw 3 if you have Ancestral Visions in hand. Or just 5 tokens for 4 mana if you have Lingering Souls in hand. Or 3 tokens + Honor the Pure to make it 6 power for 4 mana. I think the real shenanigans will obviously come from cards like Ancestral Visions or Restore Balance
Hell, you can use it to cast a split card too. Beck // Call or Boom // Bust seem like good choices.

Honor of the Pure doesn't work with colorless Servo tokens. But you have a point with Intangible Virtue.
Here's hoping we get some cool Revolt cards that I can flicker.
I would definitely expect Sram's Expertise to see play, perhaps in a UW Control shell. At it's worst, it would likely be 3 tokens plus serum visions or something like that for 4 mana. It doesn't generate card advantage on it's own, but it does let you pump out up to 7 mana worth of spells on turn 4.
Consulate Dreadnought is just begging for a card to help it cheat it's vehicle activation. Not sure what though. Whir of Invention seems interesting and would work well with Sword of the Meek / Thopter Foundry combo, especially since it's an instant. I can't think of any other deck with access to UUU and lots of artifacts. I guess the UB Tezzeret deck would probably like it a lot since it plays that combo and plenty of other artifacts.
I like the Revolt mechanic. It's like Morbid that only triggers on your side, but triggers for any permanent leaving the battlefield for any reason (not just death). Please make a good 2-drop enchantment with revolt for Norin the Wary
Consulate Dreadnought is the first vehicle that costs 1 mana. You could play T1 Dreadnought, T2 vehicle, T3 vehicle, T4 Start your Engines, but the problem with that plan is that you only have 4 Start your Engines, and every cantrip or tutor that you play to dig for it is another 1-3 mana that you're not spending on vehicles. I doubt that would even be viable in Standard, but that could change if the set has even more 1-drop vehicles and Start Your Engines clones.
HOLY ***** SRAM IS ANOTHER PURESTEEL PALADIN. Cheeri0s got a lot more consistent now. Still, it has the unenviable task of trying to cast 20 spells in one turn when Burn is a top tier deck, and the fact that both of its engines are creatures that die to Bolt.
Expertise is a cycle. No need to play bad color combos like UB just to get a free Ancestral Vision! Sadly Sram's Expertise nonbos with Restore Balance (just like Yahenni's Expertise nonbos with Living End) .
Whir of Invention is the artifact Chord of Calling. It seems best for getting Lotus Bloom into play so that you have 3 more mana on the next turn. That would mean combo decks like Ad Nauseam or non-prison Enduring Ideal. Note that it also gets Defense Grid for 5 mana, which is useful for said combo decks.
Would AN play it? Probably not, given that they already have Pentad Prism, which curves into Phyrexian Unlife whereas Whir doesn't. Enduring Ideal on the other hand might, even though it also plays Phyrexian Unlife - the difference between it and AN is that its big spell costs 7 instead of 5 or 6, so even if you play T2 Prism and hit all your land drops, you're one mana off. T3 Whir for Bloom and never missing a land drop is just enough. Also, Form of the Dragon costs triple red - if you happen to draw the Unlife + Form combo naturally, Whir for Bloom lets you hardcast Form while Prism would be one red mana short.
I briefly considered Eggs, but it already has Reshape. The sacrifice is not a big downside; in fact it's one of the few ways of getting Ichor Wellspring into the graveyard. Maybe there could be a build with Reshape + Whir as the mana engine instead of Reshape + KCI, but I doubt it.
WOW. Finally a good 1 CMC black removal spell. Makes me want to brew some Dimir.
TOTAL gamechanger. Love it. Don't even care about Innocent Blood anymore.
Without even cracking a fetch, this kills basically every top-tier creature in the format. Notably, kills Inkmoths, which Blood couldn't have hit anyway (but won't kill Champs). Kills all Infect creatures unless they have Vines (can't pump through it).
With fetches, it kills everything but like, Wurmcoils, Tasigurs, and Titans, plus other cornercases. EDIT: also misses Smasher, but hey, can't ask for eveything!
Yeah baby. Sram's Expertise with beck and call and you put 7 power on the field and draw 4 cards. That seems good.
Fatal Push will challenge Bolt and Path as best removal in modern I think. Hits so many of the biggest threats in modern, bar eldrazi. Works very well with Snapcaster Mage so maybe we get a reson to see BUG become a deck.
Yeah, Fatal Push is a really good removal spell. Before that there was only Disfigure which missed beefy threats like Goyf, or Dismember which is far from the most efficient way to kill a T1 mana dork. Fatal Push handles both effortlessly, even without revolt.
Straight BG should be a viable option now that you don't have to rely on red or white for good 1-mana removal.
edit: another good thing: it kills x/2s and x/3s through Mutagenic Growth.
Abzan Midrange just got a hell of an upgrade. They may have even gotten 2. I could see Sram's Expertise beilg played there as well. It arguably fights with Siege Rhino for the value 4 drop slot. 3 tokens plus a free cast for any 3 drop or less in their hand vs a 4/5 with Lightning Helix attached to it. Mathematically, Rhino is a 4 drop plus a free 2 drop, whereas Expertise is a 4 drop plus a free 3 or lower, and with a lot more flexibility.
Wow Fatal Push is huge for modern.
The card is pretty good even without active revolt (and with fetches that's actually quite easy to achieve). We speak about a card that efficiently deals with Tarmogoyf here. This is BIG.
I really hope we get to see more nice cards with the revolt mechanic. Seems like an awesome way for wizards to give us some modern playable cards that don't wreck standard. Maybe a counterspell? Something like Prohibit? Please Wizards?
Also, bant eldrazi are happy. Smasher will keep on smashing.
Otoh this, unlike Path, deals with Noble cleanly turn 1.
It deals with Noble cleanly but it also doesn't deal with things like Mandrills out of Death's Shadow or Tasigur out of Grixis and with Abrupt Decay already being in the deck, there's a real limit to how many low CMC only cards you can run.
For example if you ran playsets of this, Abrupt Decay, and Inquisition you would be soft to a lot of cards in the format. This spell will no doubt see play but I don't think it's the auto 4 of it's hype initially suggests.
This card is BIG for Modern. Early game not giving your opponent an extra land via Path but instead using this could be a good tempo play as well.

Whir of Invention reminds me a lot of chord of calling, but there is current shell that want's this. Will probably see an increase in people wanting Mishra's Bauble Sram, Senior Edificer will help some fringe decks in modern, and is cute as a button.
