When I nabbed Bitterblossom, Surgicals and Cliques, the foils were actually cheaper. Cryptic always seems to have a low multiplier from that set as well.

Yes, this is definitely the case. Not only do they look worse than other foils, I hold the opinion that they look considerably worse than nonfoils from that set. I own several foils from there and regret getting all of them.

I just got here and couldn't find the 1 or 2 that I own. I'm trying to get some with no luck. Was able to get 2 foils for $8.08 from my local store though.

Yeah, that's fair. I actually didn't notice at first as I don't have anything from MM15 other then foils. But they are close to the worst foils for the art popping off the card I've got.

yeah when i was doing some research on certain set card quality, mm15 came up as one of the worst - both foils and non-foils. it also looks to be partially what sparked peoples closer scrutiny and harsher criticisms of card quality, whereas it was moreso just grumbling and being mostly overlooked before that.

The only foils I have from that set came from Limited.

There's 2 cards that I always seem to get foils of somehow without trying - Deathmark and Cancel, so I've learned to embrace them. I have a pile of 5 foil Deathmark and the MM2015 one is the worst one. I even almost feel like throwing it in the trash because I think it is ruining the others by bending them (since they're all next to each other in a big box).

should i buy 4x Metallic Mimic? just for hardeness scales deck, at 3€ each, maeby go up in price?

cant say ive ever seen a full set run in hardened scales; mostly just as like a 1 or 2-of at most as a flex piece.

i do think its a card that is extremely likely to continually creep up in price as we get further away from kaladesh rotating. so its a pretty safe pickup even if you dont end up using all the copies.

really though its gonna be the foil versions that are gonna go up quicker. im not an edh player but i imagine its a card that can fit nicely into a lot of things now, and will continue to; and edh players drive demand on foils much harder.

Grinding Station (Non-foil) average: $5.74
Grinding Station (Foil) average: $29.5

Semblance Anvil (Non-foil) average: $8.32
Semblance Anvil (Foil) average: $24.98

Both versions of GS have just been climbing, no sign of plateauing yet.
Non-foil Semblance Anvils have taken a sharp downward to $8.32 from $14.9.
Foil Semblance Anvil on the other hand is currently at a plateau of $24.98 from its start at $8.1, if it rises or falls we don't know.

should i trade 2 badlands, good and excellent status by 140€ each (min price) because where i live we dont play legacy and i bought by 46€ each some years ago

by 4x noble hierarch foil 200€ and 4x collected company 60€ and 20€ ? to finish bant spirits and vizier combo?

i think i will lose value but i dont use the badlands and need those cards ...

Losing a lot of value. You'd be better off selling them on eBay/buylist then just buying the cards you need. If you need a buyer, look no further...I'd gladly buy them at that price.

Was thinking of buying liliana of the veil - but wondered, she going down in Price fast. Is this because of reprints? Or is she beeing replaced in modern?

I am dissapoint about this hard drop. I bought 2 of here for 10% less from a friend, now it is cheaper as I bought. Thinked it was a good deal some months ago. I underestimate printing power of uma it seems. Same happened with 3 snapcaster. 15% cheaper because he needs money, now less worth as I payed. Buy if you need it, but don't think you know what will happen. Noone can knew this

If you intend to pick them up eventually, I'd pull the trigger now. Yeah, the price might go down a few more bucks, but once it plateaus and begins the upswing, it'll be too late.

The focus is on deck types that don't use liliana from what I can surmise. Basically, if the little bouncing beeble in your head is getting turbo excited for a card from people showcasing it at a tournament, throw the bugger into the closet and go for the cards not seeing play.

I think so, at least in the short run and until it is reprinted again. It already bottomed out to about $30 during the UMA release, but started climbing back up 2 weeks after. I wouldn't sleep on these cards if I were you.

There's a whole bunch that I want to buy play sets of and am just waiting to get money from other cards to fund this (I'm looking at you extra sets of Goryo's Vengeance, Celestial Colonnade, Through the Breach, as well as some from IMA.)

Do you think Raging Ravine is gonna climb from the ~$3 they are at right now? My lgs has a bunch and I might scoop them up with store credit.

I mean, generally speaking, anything playable will theoretically climb up in the absence of new supply. It looks like the man lands reprinted in UMA are flat-lining, with the exception of Colonnade which is still dropping. The chances of prices dropping below $3 are slim until another reprint comes along, so I'd definitely pull the trigger if you have your eye on them. I've been keeping an eye on the price of Tarpits myself and IMO once those start trending up, Ravine shouldn't be too far behind.
