Dark Depths already works with Thespian's Stage and it's easier to search for a land than to search for an enchantment. I wonder if it will make some cards spike though.

Would be too slow for Thing in the Ice, IMO. I played Thing/Kiln Fiend off and on and if you play a T2 Thing and it lives to your untap, you can fairly reliably flip it T3 anyway. With this, you have to play the enchantment T3, Thing T4, and even if you flip it T4, it is summoning sick and can't attack. There's definitely combo enabling good stuff with this enchantment, but Thing in the Ice probably isn't it.
To speed it up I would think it would need to be run in a Bant shell with mana dorks to get the enchantment out turn 2 and Titi out turn 3 with maybe some Phyrexian mana "free" instant/sorcery to flip Titi on turn 3. And yes, that is a lot of hoops to jump through. But a lot of combo decks do the same thing.

Playing since 1994: Currently MAGS (HomeBrew),Standard & Pauper (Pioneer and Modern are degenerate trash formats)
STOP using "dude/bro" as a pejorative or insult. Grow up.
Margaret Thatcher: “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”
Benjamin Franklin: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Martin Luther King Jr.: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
Now that the ban fears have died down Will Death's Shadow start rising in price. I have 1 just wondering if now is the time to pickup the other three. I don't want to play them at the moment, but I do want access to them if I do decide to play them latter. I don't want to get priced out of the deck. With all of the fear mongering going on I feel the card will stay at a stable price for awhile.

Nah, if the deck isn't good enough to ban then it probably won't increase in price for the same reasons. Also, I'm not sure it's out of the ban-woods yet.
If you own snapcasters and fetches, I don't think you'll be priced out of the deck. It's a bunch of the best cards in the format, those prices will always be high, but at least you don't have to save for Goyfs or LOTVs. Buy the scalding tarns and the snaps and you're fine
Speaking which, I pulled the trigger on foil scalding tarns, for 72ish dollars. It's crazy that the card was like 110 non-foil before modern masters, not looking to foil Shadow Grixis anytime soon or anything, but it feels like if you want to purchase the foil fetch now than later, better to get it now then wait

That's exactly what I did, even though I was still trying to make Delver work at the time. Scalding Tarn foils were too cheap NOT to get, IMO. And speaking of "how the mighty have fallen" foil Blood Moons, which were easily $100+ before reprint, are still handily available at or under $30 3 and a half months later.
What do you guys think about fulminators? I realized I have every other card for living end excluding the cascade spells and the amonkhet cyclers, but I think I should wait around a year for the new masters editions. Could it raise further than that if not reprinted?
I think the answer will reveal itself with the next banned list: If wizards gives in and bans death's shadow expect a spike. But waiting for the new masters isn't wrong, assuming it doesn't go up until then.

Fulminator is currently the 11th most played creature in all of Modern and already holding steady after its last price spike just a few months ago. Along with Death's Shadow, big mana decks already basically rule the format, so it seems unlikely for it to spike that much further (especially with so many other LD options available for much less money). Blood Moons are down among the $15-20 range and Molten Rains can be had for pennies. The only big draw for the card seems to be Living End, like you're trying to build, or decks that don't have access to red mana (like Abzan). I bought my set of Fulminators at about $15 and have recently cashed them out for $35/ea. Got sick of seeing money rot away in a binder not being played in any of my decks. If you need em, buy em slowly one at a time. I doubt it's going to spike up any time soon, but I also doubt they're going to fall much with many of the top decks running Temples and Tron lands.

Aside from all that, the real question here is 'do you want to play Living End right now?'. If so, get them now.
Hi everyone. I am looking for some advice regards Nahiri, the Harbinger. At one point, she was ~£25 at an absolute minimum and I couldn't find her for anything else. I am not really a fan of spending that sort of money, so I didn't invest. For the last 2-3 weeks however I have been finding Nahiri at closer to 12, and even 10 in one occasion. Before I consider investing, could anyone give me an idea as to why this price may have collapsed? Are there better options for that spot? Or an abundance of easy ways to take care of her which didn't exist this time last year? I am looking to play her within a Restore Balance shell, if that helps. Thanks.

Jeskai Control is the only viable deck for her right now, and it's not doing that well. I don't think she sees play in Standard either.

Heavily disagree with this post as many decks are viable right now if you tune them correctly. Taking turns/faeries have been doing good in tournaments but are tier 3 decks. If you want to play nahiri in a deck I would look into 4 color control since pros have been streaming it recently.

I think his point has more to do with how many people actually play the deck and to be more specific, play the deck well. How many people play the deck affects the prices. Do you think WR Prison cards would be the same price as they are now if 5.5% of the meta (instead of what, 1% at most) played the deck? No, they would be much higher.
I wouldn't take his post as offense towards the deck. I think many Modern players have realized that fringe decks can do well - look at Mono White Death and Taxes, GW Craig Wescoe and Taxes, and UB Turns at the most recent LV Grand Prix. Personally, I realized it even more. The Mono White D and T looks like a pile honestly to me. I can think of 30 decks that I think are "better" than it. Yet, I was proven wrong. I give a lot of props to that player, maybe even more than the UB Turns (because I personally have done solidly with UG Turns).
Don't take it as a slight toward the deck. This is the "Modern Prices" thread and it honestly has more to do with the visibility of the deck.

I actually disagree on your point of WR prison since the only card that it plays that could see a price hike is chalice of the void and that card is already expensive. Everything else has already been reprinted to death besides spirit guide and that card is already up there in price for a common.

Nahiri isn't putting up results. Hence the current price point. Yes I'm sure you can take down a random FNM with 5 color Barbarian Nahiri Storm, that's not the point here.

Nahiri's price went down because she isn't being played in standard anymore. She was a center piece in the Saheeli rai combo decks.

Agree to disagree then.
Nahiri was not played in competitive Saheeli lists, as far as I know from playing 2 PPTQs against it and 1 with it, top 8ing the one when I was playing it. Nahiri, the Harbinger went down in price completely because of Modern. Its Standard play went basically from nearly non-existent to non-existent. In Modern, Jeskai was played quite a bit, but nowadays even when it is played, they rarely play Nahiri. I'd say it sees more play nowadays in GRw Titan Shift than Jeskai lists.

According to mtggoldfish Nahiri is pretty common as 2x-of in the SB of "Mardu Vehicles" in Standard.
In Modern it is mostly seen in "WR Prison" and then in "Jeskai Control".

Norin the Wary, Grimgrin, Adun Oakenshield (taking forever to build)(dead format for me)I actually disagree on your point of WR prison since the only card that it plays that could see a price hike is chalice of the void and that card is already expensive. Everything else has already been reprinted to death besides spirit guide and that card is already up there in price for a common.
Decks I'm playing in Modern right now:
URB Grixis Reveler (http://www.mtgvault.com/supast4r7/decks/modern-grixis-reveler/)
UB Faeries (http://www.mtgvault.com/supast4r7/decks/ub-fae-2/)
UW Azorious Control (http://www.mtgvault.com/supast4r7/decks/modern-ojutai-control-2/)
Nahiri isn't putting up results. Hence the current price point. Yes I'm sure you can take down a random FNM with 5 color Barbarian Nahiri Storm, that's not the point here.
Abzan Traverse / Traverse Shadow / UR Kiki

Norin the Wary, Grimgrin, Adun Oakenshield (taking forever to build)(dead format for me)According to mtggoldfish Nahiri is pretty common as 2x-of in the SB of "Mardu Vehicles" in Standard.
In Modern it is mostly seen in "WR Prison" and then in "Jeskai Control".
I haven't seen any "Naya Titanshift" lists for quite some time (it was an extremely fringe variant of "RG Breach"/"RG Titanshift" anyway).
