Eldrazi needs a check / balance.
This past weekend, we had 3 High Profile Modern events. 2 GPs, and an SCG Open. Over all 3 tournaments Top 32, there were only 5 Eldrazi Tron decks. Bant Eldrazi only had 2 decks. So out of 96 decks, only 7 were Eldrazi. That's literally just 7%. Eldrazi are not a problem. If they are in your metagame, then your metagame is abundant with decks that the Eldrazi decks prey on. And that isn't the fault of the Eldrazi decks.

I don't think a color-shifted Blood Moon would ever be printed today, given how game breaking Blood Moon can be.
I do love restore the wilds. I don't even think it needs the "if the opponent choose to search" stipulation. Destroy a land + rampant growth for each player would be perfectly fine to me
I agree on Flood Moon, but Restore the Wilds would slot right into RG Valakut and it's straight up better than any Rampant Growth variant I can think of right now and if I recall correctly they have even moved away from that card in Standard, no?
I agree on Flood Moon, but Restore the Wilds would slot right into RG Valakut and it's straight up better than any Rampant Growth variant I can think of right now and if I recall correctly they have even moved away from that card in Standard, no?
2-colored cards can be more powerful than single colored ones. Therefore even though Rampant Growth is not in standard anymore, a RG costed version would likely be ok.
I know this card is even better than a Rampant Growth, but its about time wizards started printing more modern-power level cards in standard again
What's hilarious about that Restore the Wilds card, is you can target your own land and tutor up 2 basics. So it can also be fixing for yourself if you need to use it that way.

Not quite AV power level, but has some potential?!?

Search your library for a creature card with converted man cost 5 or less. Put that card onto the battlefield. At the end of turn, exile that creature. I felt him slap me. But when I went to see who it was, there was no one there.
I was thinking to myself how neat it would be to be able to at instant speed fetch creatures like Linvala, Keeper of Secrets or even a Tidehollow Sculler. Hell being able to flash in a surprise Thragtusk to block seems ridiculous.
Wanted to make sure the mana cost of what you could grab wasn't 6 because then you can't grab Primeval Titan with it, though maybe the CMC for what you can grab should go down to 4.

Beyond broken at 5. Even at 2 it's pretty busted. The issue is the number of 2 creature infinite combos this enables. At 5 it makes the kiki-jiki combo busted at at two it's devoted druid/vizier busted.
So while modern is in a good place right now, there are still some key card slots that are missing. For example, an instant speed cantrip. These are the cards I wish were printed.
Opt. This one is obvious. For instant speed blue decks to thrive, they need an efficient instant speed cantrip.
Innocent Blood, this one is less obvious, but think about it. Obviously fatal push is better against wide decks, but this is great against deaths shadow and tasigur decks that often have less creatures. It's a great card for pure control decks that have a tough time against midrange.
Crop Rotation. Now from the start, I know there are a lot of decks that would kill for this.
To name a few:
Jund
Abzan
Tron
Titanshift (Although I'm not sure about this one, because it seems like they want more of "ramp to a game winning card" and this doesn't do that very well.
But it would open up a ton of new avenues for decks that have fallen away a bit. It might even create a mono green eldrazi list.
Here are a few decks that would benefit:
Bant Eldrazi
Amulet Titan
Bogles Maybe
Knight of the Reliquary decks
Green control decks that want to run land toolbox packages.
Crucible of Worlds decks
Delirium decks

Really only Tron variants would play the card, and maybe certain Knight of the Reliquary toolbox style decks.
