The first deck I tried to work with was the Black Green deck. First match couldn't test because right as the pairings were announced he had to go. The next 2 most of the time was a board stall for most of the matches. I am curious to make sure I should have done any of this work just gone with the blue green deck in the first place.
I'm not convinced green is your best color. The best it offers is some very slow lategame grind by reusing Trial of Strength and 3-mana Cartouches to slowly generate more creatures.
Look at your red. Cut // Ribbons, Sweltering Suns and Heart-Piercer Manticore are all top-quality 1st pick cards, and you have good common support for red aggro. I'd just slam RW aggro with premium removal and double Wrath and not look back.
Normally Sweltering Suns and Edifice of Authority are both very powerful cards and auto-maindeck. However, they're better when you're on defense than offense, and you already have a lot of spells and few creatures (below 15 makes it hard to play aggro). So in this case I'd start off with them in the board and prioritize the combat tricks and Cartouches main so you can create aggro pressure. But if you need help controlling the opponent's creatures (e.g. flyers, rush), these should be the first cards to come in over the card disadvantage aggro cards (Cartouche of Zeal, Bloodlust Inciter).
With 5 Exert creatures, Djeru's Resolve pulls a lot of weight, and it even cycles, so there's little drawback to running the 2nd too.
