Scout and I are going to play tonight and Siege Rhino is the only card I don't have a copy of. Is there a chance you'll be on some time between about 5 EST and 8 EST tonight when I could borrow it?
OK great. There's a chance I won't be on right at 5 - I have to pick my daughter up from day care and all that, so you never know. My username is UrzasLintRoller.
Actually, it just occurred to me that I have MTGO on my work computer just for occasions such as this where I need to hop on quick for a chat or trade...I'll go ahead and log in in a few minutes and if you come on in the next hour or two while I'm at work you can send me a message.
Sorry that I was indeed later than 5 EST. (Sorry, that's 5PM or 17:00 EST tonight is what I meant). Anyway, I'm around now if you get on before bed. If not, I have a few tix I can use to buy a Siege Rhino.
Yeah, sorry, I was around from 4:30pm to 5:30pm your time, but was unavailable before and after that. Probably can't give it to you until about 12pm today your time.
Hey Sene, my wife is pregnant with twins and is currently having contractions. We don't know yet whether it's real labor (it's earlier than expected) but it would probably be wise to have a backup person ready to play my matches.
We were seated at the same place so this should be interesting.
I see you luckily went more into black early than me. Picking debilitating injury instead of arrow storm was key.
I'd take alabaster kirin over horn rider.
Tusked colossodon over dutiful return.
I would not have taken abomination of gudul in 2nd pack.
Wow, end hostilities made it to you!!!
Not sure about taking rush over ancestor. I took ancestor.
I'd take abzan priest or dead drop over harrier.
I'd take archer's parapet ovr throttle.
I don't like take up arms, but I've never drafted BW warriors either. I didnt'have rush, so I took longshot here. For your deck, take up arms might be right.
Errrr... wow, disowned ancestor WHEELED!
My guess is your deck was pretty good! A certain lack of removal though, having passed all the smites.
My deck was OK. I ended up building it as a warriors aggro deck with a transformational sideboard to turn it into a grindy controllish deck that wanted to clear the board with my decent removal (and End Hostilities of course) and connect with Siege Rhino, Alabaster Kirin or a big morph for the win.
I had some solid warrior commons but I lacked most of the chiefs and pump effects that really turn the deck into a force.
I agree with some of your picks, but I stand by Throttle over Archer's Parapet. There wasn't nearly enough green in my deck to reliably get the Parapet down early. I also definitely believe Rush is correct over Ancestor. At that point my deck had precious little in the way of real win cons, it was just a pile of cheap creatures.

2. I can probably play matches for you if the opponent is on Modo. We'll figure it out.

Also, potential congratutations are in order.

Seat C here, too!
