You open a Arcangel of Thune, and the next best card after it, is a rumbling Baloth. There are no other green cards in the pack. Do you pass the Angel, and pick the Baloth to put your person to your left into white, the worst color in the set? So you get 2 packs of cards in your colors theoretically or do you pick the Angel and hope to splash it and go heavy other color? This happened in a draft and I chose the Baloth, and got rewarded and won the whole tournament. Anything you would have done differently?
White may be the worst color in the format, but not by so much that we should start passing unbeatable bombs. I mean, we're not talking about black in Avacyn Restored here. Take the angel.
Take the Angel. In a vacuum it is a much better card than the baloth. You also are at the mercy of the drafter to your right, and if he settles in green then passing the archangel turns out to be a huge mistake. In the first few picks just take the better card, unless of course you are clairvoyent

You see, even if the person to my right is in green, I get 2 packs of green. It's pick one, pack one. So pack one, the person to my left, assuming he fell into my trap. Keeps passing me green cards. Pack 2 comes along. If the person to my right is in green, I chose a secondary color to be and draft that, knowing I will be getting green cards in the third pack.
"White is the worst color in M14" is an overused argument. It's Archangel of Thune. You take it and you play it unless you get completely cut from White.

Second, I'm confused what you think the directions are. If the person to the right of you is in green, you get ONE pack (P2) worth of green.

If the drafter to your right goes green p1p1 you only get 1 pack of green, pack 2. You also hooked the player to your left up with an obscene white deck in the process. Don't be fancy, just pick the bomb.

What? So pack one the person passing to me is in white, thus giving me green cards. Thats one pack of green.
pack 2, I get none
Pack three the person to my left is in white, and thus will pass me green cards. Why is this only one pack?
I'm sure everyone you drafted with is furious that 1) you didn't even understand how passing the packs works and 2) you passed Archangel of Thune based on a misunderstanding, and still somehow won the draft. That would get a solid ragequit from me.
Absolutely. "Unbeatable" was just a bit of hyperbole on my part.
My more literal assessment would be something like "Demands that your opponent immediately produce a premium removal spell or huge flier of their own in the great majority of board states, otherwise you run away with the game very quickly."
Still there aren't many cards less beatable than Archangel of Thune. Kalonian Hydra and Jace, certainly. Possibly some other rares/mythics.
First of all, it's going to be tough for a Constructed player to think of Archangel of Thune as having no value.
Archangel is definitely the pick. A Bomb that is impossible to race seems good. I've had pools with 2-3 Baloth and they're simply good whereas if I had a pool with multiple Archangel, I expect to win.

No, the person to the right of you is passing to you pack one. (and pack three).
The person you "tricked" into white to your left passes to you in pack two only.
oh my, I get it now, yeah that was a bad idea. glad it payed off. I will be picking the bombs in the feature.
Dega midrange 1-0
And that makes it a good day in my opinion.
