Yeah, Claustrophobia. Mystic is probably the next pick but it's not removal.

"A scrupulous writer, in every sentence that he writes, will ask himself at least four questions, thus: 1. What am I trying to say? 2. What words will express it? 3. What image or idiom will make it clearer? 4. Is this image fresh enough to have an effect? And he will probably ask himself two more: 1. Could I put it more shortly? 2. Have I said anything that is avoidably ugly?"
On another note, I don't think i have a single Staff in my collection yet.

My helpy helpdesk of helpfulness.
My Decks: EDH: Sygg, River Cutthroat , Road to Scion
Grimgrin, Corpseborn Modern: Polytokes IRL: Progenitus Polymorph , Goblins
Battle Sliver is pretty good, but not outrageous. Cauldron can be good but only in a particular deck. Commons of note are the condor, the two spiders, Rumbling Baloth, and Celestial Flare. The removal is probably best in a vacuum, but I will vote Trained Condor.
Now here's a much better pack - the spiders, baloth, flare, and Battle Sliver are all pretty good. But so is the Trained Condor, which 1) goes with our 1st pick and 2) cuts blue hard out of this pack. So I think it's the pick (I might have gone with the sliver if our first pick was white or green).
I hate this choice. Based on my draft experience so far with M14, I want to snap up Deadly Recluse on the spot...but the Trained Condor is the better pick here.
Ugh. Deadly Recluse is the best card in the pack, and UG is a deck, but it's only a deck on the back of Trained Condor, but Trained Condor is worse than the G cards, but....
Gotta pick the Condor. Unfortunately. Good G passes, which means we can probably value any further green less.

Trained Condor bandwagon for me as well. If I was going to pick a different card though it would be the Giant Spider. Yes, I do prefer the spider over Rumbling Baloth.
U/W can be pretty excellent if you get enough early drops. As such I'd prefer this to Shock (U/R is OK, but tricky to draft) or Kalonian Tusker (double Green is awkward).

I'm pretty sure the pick is either Kalonian Tusker or Shock. I actually think Tusker is the better card by a small margin in this format (despite the normal thinking on removal), with the main argument against it being the awkward mana cost. We could of course end up base-green; Claustrophobia is rarely played on curve, so the double-blue is much less of concern there than it would be for, say, Phantom Warrior.
The green we saw last pack doesn't mean a whole lot, IMO, but if we want to read into it, it should be as an argument for Tusker. There was enough quality green that we might be getting a signal that green is open, and I don't think we should give a pair of dingo's kidneys as to whether we sent any green signals (I put very little stock in the idea of going out of your way to send signals in most formats, Dragon's Maze being something of an exception).
I'm very tentatively voting Kalonian Tusker, but that could easily be wrong, and it wouldn't take much to convince me to change my vote to Shock. (I'd need a more compelling argument to vote for Blood Bairn or Sentinel Sliver, as I don't see a good reason to take either of those over Shock).
Tusker, pretty easily. It's one of the best Green uncommons and I've been pretty impressed with Green as a color. Tucker is easily the best card here and is a signal that Green is open. Let's move in.

Starting a little bit late because real life has been a little busy. Hopefully we can do one or two of these before Theros.
P1P1:
Mark your pick by either bolding it or putting it in Quote tags.
Next pick will be tomorrow (unless there is clear consensus, in which case I might post the next pick earlier). Have fun!
It's not bad. There are a good number of playable auras which Time Ebb is good against.

It's between this and tusker and I'm not ready to commit that heavily into a second color. Shock at the very least is easily splashed.
