There are some rules we'd like to set forth for this forum. As always, MTGSalvation's rules apply as well, so please don't violate any of them.
If you see any post that violates either the forum rules or any of the stickied rules threads in this forum, please report it. To do so, click the report post button to help the staff get to the post quicker and fix the problem.
In addition to the MTGSalvation rules on spamming, in this forum there are bound to be threads such as "What do you think of card X?" or "Which card would you pick here?". When you reply to these, please give a reason as to why you like your pick. Simply saying "I would take Chimney Imp" isn't enough; you need to say why you'd take it.
We have a subforum called "Sealed Pool & Draftcap Discussion", for complete sealed or draft tournament recaps. These have become popular since Magic Online began automatically saving draft picks for review. The reason we have the subforum is that the main forum can quickly become cluttered with this type of thread, particularly when a new set is released.
We also have a separate forum for Cube Drafting here. Feel free to post Cube draftcaps in the Sealed Pool & Draftcap Discussion subforum, however.
Please refrain from using card abbreviations (unless it's obvious which card you're talking about).
If you have any problems or comments that you would like to make, either PM the moderators or post to a Mod Helpdesk.
Happy posting!

New rule added:
5: Please refrain from using card abbreviations unless it's obvious which card you're talking about.
This is mainly to avoid confusion during rumor season and early on in a format. Instead of saying for example SID or MMP or StM, you should type out their full card names (Silver-Inlaid Dagger, Mirror-Mad Phantasm, Smite the Monstrous). This is because while you might be completely familiar with all the cards already, many people aren't, and this saves many the hassle of having to check the spoiler to see what card you're talking about.
However, abbreviations are fine if it's very obvious which card you're talking about. For example: "The cards for me were Smite the Monstrous and Dissipate. But I already had a counterspell, and StM would be a valuable sideboard card to have even if I didn't end up maindecking it." That's totally okay.
So for the upcoming Dark Ascension rumor season, do everyone a favor and type out full card names
I've noticed some newer members are under the impression that prefixes are something that should be used fairly frequently. To clarify, the only prefixes that are for use by non-moderators are the [SCD] and [MCD] prefixes, meaning, respectively, Single Card Discussion (when you want to discuss a single card) and Multi-Card Disucussion (when you want to discuss a group of cards, a cycle, for example.)

The Prefixes in the Sealed Pool & Draftcap Discussion forum are once again up to date. Please use the appropriate prefix when posting a thread in there (nowadays, usually [FKK])! There are a quite a few older formats that don't yet have their own prefix, but these are coming.
I have added prefixes to all threads since last time the prefixes were updated (roughly one year ago).
And remember, if you want to filter by prefix, just click on the prefix.
