With the first installment of my Community Draft Exercise concluded, we'll be heading right into the next. An older format was desired, so we'll be heading back to Innistrad's darkest hour before Avacyn returned. The format will be Dark Ascension/Innistrad/Innistrad (DKA/INN/INN).
I've crafted 24 packs for the draft, but due to the semirandom process for actual packs, mine will differ somewhat from what you could normally expect in DKA and INN boosters. I tried to be close to actual packs' contents, though.
Participants can vote on any or all of the eight players' next picks, and the card with the most votes will be taken by that player. In case of a tie or if there is no vote, I will decide among the top contenders. I'll also give my own thoughts and picks during the voting time, but only in case of a tie will it matter. Participants must pick ONE card only from the pack. Partial votes don't count, neither do votes where I can't determine your pick. So be clear on what card you have choosen.
For the first eight cards of each pack, you'll have two days each to vote and discuss. The remaining cards of each pack will be drafted on a one day schedule, because those cards typically don't matter as much and it makes the whole draft a bit faster. For the last card of a pack there is no choice, so I'll be heading straight to the next pack at that time. Updates will happen around 7-8 pm here in Germany. Though from time to time, there will be short delays, usually no more than a few hours, due to work and life. Longer delays are possible as well, and I will inform you here if that happens.
Please discuss more general matters here in this thread and leave the player threads for discussion of that player's picks and deck. While you don't have to explain your card choices, I encourage you to share your thoughts on them. It may even convince others to vote for your choice as well. No vote is fixed until I post the next round. But it takes a bit of time to update the threads, usually about 20-30 minutes, so last minute votes and changes may come too late.
With that said, here are the links to the eight player threads:
I can't join this one because I wasn't playing during this time, that's why I voted for a guilds of Ravnica draft instead.
I don't see why that should stop you. Just use your general limited knowledge and pick what you think is best. This is just for fun; it's not like there's anything on the line.

Agreed. I wasn't playing during the original Innistrad block either. It'll be fun to see what cards there are.
Anyone can chime in at any time. You are not required to know the format or the cards, or to be a Limited expert. Just vote, maybe explain your choice a bit, and have fun watching this thing unfold. Then in the end, maybe try to build a viable deck, or eight.
The packs have tabled, so I'll speed up the round. Only one day till the next update for the remainder of the round! Except, there will be no update on Saturday this week. I'll resume as normal on Sunday.
Germany has turned the clock back by one hour due to daylight saving time this weekend. So for those who are already ahead of us or are not participating in that nonsense the updates will come one hour later now.
And it's already time to speed up again. So the next update is tomorrow. I don't know, if I can make it on Saturday, but if not, that update will come on Sunday.
And we are in round 3. Lots of goodies await. And remember, the packs are now being passed in the opposite direction yet again. Plus, you have two days again to decide on each pick, until the packs have tabled.
BTW, why did we switch again to 2 days per pick? We're not that many people, and we didn't discuss so much until now...
The two days for the first 8 picks of each pack was mostly meant to grant some time for thinking about and discussion of the picks, but also to give myself a breather. Doing an update every day seemed somewhat stressful, and I would have to delay more often due to life (traveling, pusuing other hobbies at the time of the update, etc.). This didn't occur too often so far, because those times often fell into the gaps between updates. I guess, I could adapt the 1-update-per-day schedule now, since I have the routine down and can avoid the mistakes of the first CD. But delays would be more common. I actually intended to discuss this when nearing the end of this draft to adjust the schedule for the next.
So, now what? Do we get assigned decks and duke it out online? Lilliana is the only card that looks expensive to buy online out of the pool (unless I'm forgetting something).
Well, if you want to do that, I won't hinder you. This is just a fun draft exercise, and aside from this last vote, all that remains is to maybe built some decks from the pools we put together for the eight players. The purpose is the drafting and building of the decks (for those who want to do that), and discussion thereof.
