I would pick Verix Bladewing because it's a bomb in limited, especially if you can wait to cast him with kicker, having two 4/4 flying dragons for 7 mana is really good. I don't think there is much of a choice besides him in this pack.

I agree with picking Verix as the most bomby card in the pack. Though I really hate to pass Fight with Fire, which is a pretty powerful removal and can end the game very suddenly if kicked. But as an uncommon, chances are higher, that another will come around.
A few choices here, with the land offering a better chance to get Verix in a game, the Cyclops being another midgame big creature as are the Guardians, and Lightning as removal in the same color as our first pick bomb. This early in the draft, pure power of the cards is more relevant than other concerns like mana curve and colors, and the most powerful card individually, in my opinion, is Wizard's Lightning.
I'm taking the Baloth Gorger here, because it's a good early fatty to complement Verix, and even bigger if cast late. Thallid Omnivore is a serious contender, though. But the Baloth is better on its own. Nature's Spiral maybe worth picking, too, since with it we can play riskier with Verix, and it's an uncommon, so if this one doesn't come around, we may not see another. but it's early in the draft and we have two more packs of the same set comming.
Of note here is, that there's only one green card, and that one is quite weak. This may mean, that green is not open and thus the Gorger may not make it. But there's still some playable red, so that color should still be flowing. Nothing here promotes another color, so I'll be picking a red card. The best among those, in my opinion, is the Overseer, because he can be very swingy in the late game, and is solid early.
Green still looks open with Pierce the Sky. But I don't know, if this deck even wants to be green. I'd rather take the Chronicler to full the lower end of the curve in the color we are definitely in.
If you are already reading this, why not pick a card and vote? The point of this excercise is to have people collectively choose the next pick after all. You don't have to explain your choice, that is optional.

Now I'm more convinced to go green. The Envoy shouldn't be here if green was popular among the neighbors. Historic is not going to be theme here, but kicker seems to be. Thinking about it, now I want those Bloodstone Goblins.
Warlord's Fury - not a combat trick, but potential evasion and a cantrip. There's already a sufficient quantity of bombs picked, I think, so the other potential choice, Primordial Wurm, isn't so necessary.
I like Memorial to Unity here. All these cards are pretty much filler, so why not take the one that replaces a land slot and gives us some late game options?

I'm taking the combat trick here, Arbor Armament. At least, it's useful a combat trick for the sideboard, and with two, that could come in for quite some consistency. If we want to side in one, we may want to side in another. Not that I'm expecting that, but still. The Oath stayed in the pack until the end, so I'm not worried about it being played for any shennanigans. That deck clearly isn't among this group.
