It's funny you should mention that because I had initially found Brainstorm to be lackluster but then figured I must be doing something wrong and put it back in. I've not lost with it in but I had occasionally wished it were another ponder or preordain.
As for reality ripple, I was using it as anti-Batterskull tech as vision charm can't phase the token. I haven't seen it much yet but I planned on going to some tournaments to see how the deck would fare and figured batterskull would be everywhere.
Thanks for the feedback!

I am usually posting from my phone. I will usually be brief and there may be typos.
12/1/2004: Yes, you're allowed to have a deck consisting of sixty Relentless Rats and nothing else.
So Mogis is in the middle of a guitar solo, and then Phenax jumps in with
"I like big butts and I cannot lie..."

Hey -spooky-, I was looking at putting together "A Tribe Called Quest." I was wondering if you could point me to any variations/results/threads on this deck? Or if you could tell me if it's competitive at least? I know Stoneblade is a big deck, but I don't have the budget for it. If anyone else can help me out, I'd love to hear from you.
I honestly have not played the deck since I wrote about it 2 years ago. The meta is very different now, and I'm not sure how it would fair. I know the deck is still respectable in its own right, but I don't know how much power it has lost or gained. I would suggest you proxy the deck up and test it yourself, or throw a list into cockatrice. I have a buddy who is building the deck right now, so I can ask him what his testing has been looking like.
Hey Spooky. I've been trying to do a good combo elves deck, but I can't afford fetches and Natural Card. I was checking your suggested decklist for it:

What do you suggest? Keep my deck, your decklist or merge them (somehow)?
Hey if you would like too, you could make my old Elves Combo list. I took it apart because it relied on Priest of Titania and Elvish Archdruid with little ability to draw card. I now prefer the current Natural Order build because it is more of a toolbox deck rather than a deck that wins the same way every game. Here's my old list:
I use to call it Elf-drazi. The whole deck basically generates infinite mana from a Preist of Archdruid equipped wih an Umbral Mantle. You then Crop Rotation for Eye of Ugin, search for Emrakul with Eye, hardcast Emrakul. Extra turn gained, attack with Emrakul, then generate infinite mana again, activate Eye of Ugin, search for second Emrakul and cast, first Emrakul dies and shuffles into library, gain extra turn, rinse and repeat. How do you like it?

I'm super busy atm, but I'll try to answer your question at some point this weekend.
EDIT: Looking at your list, there is not much I would change. My list is in need of some updating, which should happen relatively soon. Either way, assuming you already own the cards in your list, and that you want to stick to a budget, these are the changes I would make...
You have the cradle, so you want to make use of it. The card is great, and is one of the reasons elves are so strong. It will help you cast your big creatures, and keep your glimpse chain going.
You don't need the renegade leader because you already have Craterhoof Behemoth with multiple ways to find him. Priest of Titania is more or less replaced by the same effect with crop rotation finding cradle.
And, that's pretty much it. The rest would be up to you based on your testing. If I was wrong in assuming you had the cards in your list just let me know and we can adjust the list accordingly. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, I've had a heck of a week.
Just got to say, you've definitely earned distinction as an MTGS hero

Because he's the hero MTGS deserves, and the one it needs right now. So we'll global him. Because he can take it. Because he's not just our hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. An expired rascal.
