If you can't win the game when you get a card advantage of +12, you can't play.
If you can't win when you get a card advantage of +12, you're playing a deck that hinges on cards like Iname as One, Lich, Nourishing Shoal, and Autocthon Wurm....
It really depends on how that card advantage is applied. Something like turn 2 Jin Gitaxias will win immediately if you draw something out of the 7 cards to protect it for 1 turn.
But Lich is slow. If your opponent already has you dead on the table, 15 cards might not get there.
When you cast Nourishing Shoal with Lich, you're almost definitely casting another shoal or a Soul Spike. It doesn't win like Time Vault + Voltaic Key doesn't win. You get to see probably your entire deck.
