Not much going on here so I just wanted to share that I finally upgraded my FTV Coliseums to Odyssey foil. I think I can finally say that I'm done with my all foil project. Kinda happy that LEDs are in the reserved list right now since they spoiled the Kaladesh Inventions promo. Foil LEDs would be insane price wise (and will be too much for my wallet) if they reprinted it. LOL
Modern Dredge is tier 1.5 these days. It's nothing like its Legacy/Vintage counterparts in terms of power since its simply a beatdown deck but it gets more attention since Modern is more popular these days.
I have to agree, that the modern counterpart is finally receiving some interesting tools. Also sweet foil deck up there. I'll be receiving some cards to finish the griselbrand version with flame kin zealot next week. Have also the manaless version, that was the reason why I tried to build the LED version. Any recomendations to a player jumping from Manaless to LED Dredge? (I was introduced to legacy thanks to the modern counterpart though).

I did the same transition
They do play out quite differently, given Manaless does a lot better at avoiding interaction, and is a lot more threat heavy.
In LED-dredge we don't have the tricks like Phantasmagorian, although some lists do run Street Wraith, to get around DRS & Extraction in general.
LED-Dredge is much more focussed on landing a critical number of zombies and riding it home. You don't need the combo finish, or even Dread Return, in the main to win consistently. Quadlaser is a great place to start, although many prefer having Dread Return in the main too.
Cabal Therapy is the best card in Manaless, I feel the same way in LED-dredge too.
Similar to Manaless, don't side in-out too much, you'll rarely want to side in more than 3 or 4 cards to avoid diluting the main.
I found in Manaless I was very constricted with what I could play in the side, in LED-dredge the options are many.
As for tips in transitioning from manaless to LED, don't be afraid to mulligan awkward opening hands. LED can easily live with 4-5 cards in your opening hand and still win. Lowest I've gone down to and win was 3 cards.
Well, as it turns out, I got too sick to go to the Open in Orlando this weekend. I didn't have my LEDs with me either, so my list was going to run +3 Tireless Tribe and +1 Golgari Thug. I honestly think it would have been fine even without LEDs, but I didn't get the chance to go, so... RIP the dream, I guess. :/
Worse still, Regionals this season is all Standard. There's no big Legacy tournaments close to me for the rest of the year. Double Hexproof RIP the dream.
Edit:
Virtually no sideboard graveyard hate in any of the top 16 decks (excluding Death and Taxes). Are people just asking to get BTFO by Dredge players? Is that what they want?
SB: 1 Blightsteel Colossus
SB: 1 Iona, Shield of Emeria
SB: 2 Dread Return

Hey Ley!
First things first, remove Blightsteel from your list. When it drops into your graveyard from the library, you won't have the chance to activate Dread Return and reanimate it because the shuffle effect will put it back into your library (even if Dread Return was Instant speed). So before anything else, definitely find a new target for Dread Return. I recommend Iona or FKZ.
What kind of decks are you expecting to see? Definitely count on Miracles.
Well your sideboard has some uncommon choices in it, so we may not be able to give you the best advice on using it.
We usually recommend that you sideboard out as few cards as possible after game one. You don't want to dilute your deck if you don't have to. I wouldn't personally bring in more than three or four cards from your sideboard, so usually I cut all-in type cards like a couple Breakthrough and Lion's Eye Diamond to play a more paced (less combo-oriented) game two.
The other approach would be to go the fearless route and only sideboard one or two cards. Your main goal there would be to outrace any potential hate.
I think that Parcher (Damon Whitby) over at The Source can help you with that sideboard as he is currently using FOW to fight hate. He won an SCG Classic with the FOW list a few weeks back if I'm not mistaken. I believe Serenity is for the Eldrazi match up since they can have a turn 0 Leyline and a turn 1 chalice on 1 that can lock us out of the game.
Just got home from a small dry run team legacy tournament and finished first with my team comprising of Goblins, TES, and of course, Dredge. These were my match ups:
Rd1 Win - Bye
Rd2 2-1 Win vs. Aggro Loam (I boarded in Abrupt Decays and Lotus Petals on Game 2 because of Chalice and he opened with Leyline of the Void - FAIL lol)
Rd3 1-1 Draw vs. Deathblade (He had triple DRS which caused my demise on Game 1. He exiled Looting instead of a Dredger in the early turns with DRS on Game 2 so I went off and got the grindy win. But he top decked a Surgical Extraction on Ichorid when I would have had lethal on board (with the help of Ichorid dying and triggering Bridges) on Game 3 when we were on the last 5 turns).
Rd4 2-0 Win vs. Burn (A giant GGT in Game 1 and Iona in Game 2 were enough to get the win).
Finished with 3-0-1 as an individual and our team also ended with a 3-0-1 record which is nice. I'm still waiting for my Serenity playset so I can test it against Eldrazi and Chalice decks.
Serenity is a good addition - I started playing with it a while ago after Damon mentioned it - I was unaware of the cards' existence before that. It's pretty good, as most decks that run removal maindeck don't typically keep enchantment/artefact removal after siding against us, at least IME so far.
All that said, post what you think of it.
Just got my playset yesterday. Hopefully, I can test it in an FNM 2 weeks from now. I think Serenity is best suited against the Eldrazi or MUD match ups to clean the board of all forms of hate. I'll still keep Nature's Claim against non blue and keep testing Abrupt Decay + Lotus Petal against blue decks in the board as the current manabase isn't really 2CMC friendly. Here's my current sideboard:
In my opinion PImp is the first thing to cut in LED Dredge lists since having multiples in your opening hand is weaker than let's say having multiple draw spells.
As for the 13th land, my mulligans have improved by going from 12 to 13 lands based on experience. I would love to go up to 14 but I can't think of anything to cut yet.
Yeah he's been talking about it over on the source for the last two months if anyone is keen for more info.
Doubt I'll run it, but it's nice to see something
slave, Modern Dredge gets another tool, though!
Golgari Grave-Troll has been unbanned in Modern for a while now!

I'm deflated. Is there anything, that anyone is considering? I see nothing that rates a mention, more of the norm I guess.
I'm not too upset because at least we got some decent stuff in Shadows Over Innistrad, even if it was mostly just for Modern.
