Plenty of tests done by people have all pointed to the same conclusion - it is too inconsistent to be of any help in Turbo Eldrazi
If you compare it to other cards in the deck, which all serve an important purpose, you can't really justify cutting anyone of the other cards to fit 4 of these in the deck - and even with 4 in the deck, it's just too wonky to be of any use in Legacy.
Note I say Legacy, because apparently, it's starting to make waves in Modern - a slower, less disruptive format than Legacy... which probably explains why it's seeing use there..
Also do note it's only really good if you're already winning anyway... It's one of those cards you do not wanna draw into when you're losing
i havent used it in so long that idr how it can be taken as slow when it clearly looks like it should be in this deck...how valuable it can be when a cloudpost comes in untapped ready for 2-8 mana...i see in the first post that ppl want to crop a land for a post yet cant take advantage of the mana right away...just thought the extra mana available from it would b nice

Go for it. I won't stop you from trying it. And if it works, feel free to let us know.
However, I'm going to side with insanely on this one because the form and function of Amulet of Vigor can be performed with Candelabra of Tawnos as soon as the Locus count reaches two. And that's important because the challenge for you isn't going to just be test it, but also find room for Amulet of Vigor. Deck space is tight. So tight that it's not all that uncommon for Locus decks to break the libraries should have only 60 card cards mainboard (decks have cropped up with 61... and I wouldn't be that surprised if some players start pushing that a little).
Furthermore, how exactly do you plan to play out Amulet of Vigor? Even with come in to play tapped catches, in 12-Post, if you're playing it right, then that's only an issue turn 1. It may cause an issue down the line, but the latest is Turn 3. After that, Candelabra every day over Amulet. It at least looks like to me that Amulet is only truly beneficial as the Turn 1 play because we can play around our own tapped problems afterwards, which insinuates that Amulet serves as a win-more card.
But to reiterate, I'm all for being shown that I am wrong. I'm actually about to pick up Modern again because I just discovered Amulet of Vigor's interaction with the bounce lands, so if that works in Legacy, I'm all for being shown it does.

Thespian's stage is okay. It can also dodge Wasteland by copying a basic land. It's pretty neat. I haven't gotten a lot of testing with it, but I'm considering playing one over a vesuva as a utility land. I wouldn't sideboard it though, it doesn't do enough.
I tested it in all out UG 16-Post to get the extreme feel for it. And it has breakout plays (my favorite thing to do with it is Vesuva it to have multiple morphing lands). However, I'm down to just 13-Post now and other players are reverting back to 12-Post because the tricks that it pulls are not worth what I had to cut to fit all four into my deck because to reiterate... Thespian's Stage is slow. You don't want to get it with Titan, I'd rather Crop Rotate in a Vesuva and search out a Vesuva with Expedition Map because Vesuva doesn't require me to tap it and feed it two mana to do what Vesuva does at the cost of coming into play tapped.
Seems like a worse Vesuva, but you can also use it to destroy legendary lands. Maybe sideboarded?
It is, which is why I recommend main 1 or leave it out altogether in UG 12-Post (for the time being). I do play Thespian's Stage in my MUD 16-Post, but that's only because it's taxes and can afford to move slower through a game... and it's not a competitive deck at the moment.

I really want to play 12-Post and I'm putting a deck together, but I'm probably not going to be able to get the Show and Tells for a while. Do you have any suggestions on what to replace them with?
I really want to play 12-Post and I'm putting a deck together, but I'm probably not going to be able to get the Show and Tells for a while. Do you have any suggestions on what to replace them with?
To be perfectly honest, you'll be hard-pressed to find anything to replace Show and Tell.
Still, I'm surprised that SnT is your hurdle to the deck... so do you mean you have Candelabra and Tropical Islands available?
If so, you can run a semi-mono-green list for the time-being, with a heavy-blue sideboard to aid in the combo matchup.
well i played this deck for the first time in a tournament and made the top 8.
if you would like to check the list out it was starcitygames.com indianapolis. i copied the list tony murata won with in san diego. after playing it i would make a few changes but it was a very solid list.

We in the 12-Post thread are a very enthusiastic bunch that jump on all tournament showings... and I mean ALL of them. And I saw your match against 4-Color Loam yesterday; out of everyone in the Top 8, that was the only match-up that would have hurt as much as it did.
But congratulations, I checked your Swiss standings, and finishing 6th is amazing. But I do have two questions I'd like to ask:

What changes are you planning to make with the deck now that you've played it?

Ok so here was my matches and what i remember
won round 1 u/b reanimator 2-0
won round 2 esper stoneblade 2-0
won round 3 high tide 2-0
won round 4 uwr miricles 2-1
won round 5 punishing maverick 2-1
won round 6 sneak and show 2-0 (feature match)
lost round 7 rug delver 2-1 (feature match)
won round 8 mud 2-1
draw round 9
the biggest thing that stood out was flusterstorm wasnt that great i personally would like to have 4 stifle for wasteland and against a lot of the other decks.
also my uwr mircles match was horrific when they cast blood moon. i will tell you what happened i was able to have all my combo lands on the board so end of turn i repeal blood moon. they have top/counterbalance on board he flips over a cmc of 3 so it bounces back. also he had like 7 4/4 flyers he played off of entreat. so emrakul was not enough to kill him. i have double crop rotation in hand so i play the first crop rotation he tries to put top on top of library, in resoponse i play the second crop rotation to find karakas and he scoops lol it was an amazing comeback.
mud was the match i had to win to make top 8. this guy was a real jerk. i was facing death when he had wurmcoil, forgemaster, metalworker, and trinisphere out on turn 3. then he sacs to get blightsteel collosus. attempts to kill me so for 3 mana i crop rotation to get glacial clasm. buys me enough time to get emarkul and take a million turns. game two he just destroys me. game three i play a turn 2 cursed totem and he beats for 1 with metalworker for a few turns and i play emrakul and he scoops. game 1 he tried to get me for not announcing emrakul trigger. i said cast emrakul take my next turn. the judge says that's announcing trigger and he appeals it the head judge tells him the same thing.

i would understand your take on Flusterstorms, seeing as you didn't face any storm decks except for High Tide (whose storm win-con you're naturally protected against).
Lack of storm decks in the local meta would prompt cutting flusterstorms from the sb... sadly, in my local meta, flusterstorms are a necessity because TES and ANT decks are pretty popular, and Mindbreak Traps with Chalice of the Void are not enough to seal the win post-board.
Lucky you were able to win aganst MUD, because it can be a pretty bad matchup if you don't run Oblivion Stone. And yeah, he's an ass.
ok so lets think about this what is ant and tes? it uses the storm ability to win. so why not stifle? it does the same thing to storm trigger. it can buy you time to stifle their fetch lands, led's, and even lotus petal. to get challice on the correct number. Stifle is a great card in legacy becuase so many things have triggered and activated abilities. wasteland kills this deck. and pithing needle does not always save you especially on a turn one challice lol.
so i think the oblivion stone is atleast a 2 of in the maindeck

Also, regarding Flusterstorm, I use it for combo, but I also use it as a better Spell Pierce against control and reanimator match-ups (if the Storm count is one when you cast it, your opponent has to pay 2). Also, I almost never hit the Storm card itself with Flusterstorm, I hit the Infernal Tutor (or other lynch pin cards).
That said, I think I'll try out Stifle, Trickbind, Bind, or Squelch. Personally, I'm in favor starting with Trickbind because if it hits Griselbrand, then Griselbrand is shut down for the turn... also, Split Second. And as much as I like the cantrip of Bind and Squelch, they can't hit triggered abilities.

You can't stifle Mana Abilities, so LED and Lotus Petal can't be stopped...
My only issue with Stifle is that beyond Wasteland, Storm Trigger, and the occasional Fetchland, it has the tendency to stick around the hand and be a dead draw.
That said, I do see the value of Stifle, but I haven't tested enough with it to see if it is any better than Flusterstorm. As of my testing, Flusterstorm has saved me from not only Storm, but also from discard spells, opposing Show and Tells, a fatal Price of Progress, and even a Counterspell at one point.
Yes i understand where it is a dead card. flusterstorm is an amazing card i run 3 in my high tide list with another in the board. because of obvious reasons in that deck. i will test stifle a lot before the next major tournament i play in and see what is best and probably test trickbind as well. i am new to this deck so i still have some learing to do. but i usually can out play people and thats what i did in indy.
To be perfectly honest, you'll be hard-pressed to find anything to replace Show and Tell.
Well, I know nothing can really "replace" it. The only cards that really do what it does are Eureka (which is even more expensive) and Hypergenesis (which isn't that great in the deck). I'm not necessarily looking for a card that fulfills the role of Show and Tell, just a card or cards that fits the slot.
Still, I'm surprised that SnT is your hurdle to the deck... so do you mean you have Candelabra and Tropical Islands available?
I have the Candelabras, yeah, because I used to play High Tide. I don't have Tropical Islands yet, but I can make do with Breeding Pools for a while.

What makes Show and Tell great in 12-Post is that it's a cheap cheat card. The only other cheap cheat card I know of is Summoning Trap after it's Trap cost has been triggered. However, we can't rely on that (especially since 12-Post is so creature lite), so generally what you do is shift from cheating Titans in to ramping into them.
My advice if you try that route is to test Cavern of Souls calling Giants because what makes Show and Tell interesting as oppose to other Show and Tell strategies is that anything we'd Show and Tell in we can cast anyway. That redundancy makes opposing counter magic less effective against us. Without that alternate route to take, a smart control player is going to stop that Titan dead in his tracks, so reinforcing that point is somewhat of a priority.

Anywhere between 2-4 Oblivion Stones in your 75 could work. It really depends on your local meta.
I am at the opinion that Top cannot be cut, just for the sole reason that 12-post shuffles a lot, and a way to manipulate your draws after every shuffle is pretty indispensable.
I believe you can afford to run just 3 Show and Tell and 3 Repeal in your main deck, with 1 Show and Tell in the side against decks running little disruption. The last top 8 list before your own had this configuration.

In that case, you can try running Green Ramp spells like Explore, Summer Bloom or the aforementioned Oracle of Mul Daya.
You can also try Azusa, Lost but Seeking
Another approach is to run more protection spells like Spell Pierce, Oblivion Stone and the like.
Not too sold on Cavern of Souls, as it's very narrow in its use, but you can give that a shot too.
