Hi y'all. I'm just getting into Legacy as a format and from what I've experienced so far, it's awesome! My current deck is b/r reanimator and I do enjoy it. However, it is fairly fragile and I'm wondering if I should go for a different deck, it also might get boring after a while. I would love opinions on the matter as to which other, if any i should play. Death Shadow/Stoneblade sounds fun. I am on a very tight budget, however, I do have quite a few of the staples/cards to sell. I have one of each dual land and my lgs allows 10 proxies. I am willing to sell my cards to earn money toward the decks. I am wondering essentially whether or not to sell staples like dual lands (and a mishras workshop) in order to buy a deck, or to stick with reanimator. Also, if I were to sell my cards, what is the best way, with the least amount of effort. Card Kingdom?
It's really up to you. As long as the RL is in place and the game is being played, it's unlikely that your duals and Workshop are going to drop too drastically in price. If you're trying to keep some of the value of your collection, I'd stick with those or something analogous (e.g. trading duals for duals is good, trading duals for modern cards is less good). If you're just trying to play, trading cards you're not using for cards you will use is a good plan.
My personal choice would be to stick with what you have for the moment. You have a decent deck that can presumably win you some credit to expand your collection, and 1 of each dual with a 10 proxy allowance should let you build a few more decks. A lot of legacy decks have most of the cost concentrated in a handful of cards. For something like UB Shadow, you can run with 1 Sea in a pinch. If you have any of the other cards you need (blue fetches, Thoughtseize, etc are all things you might have from other formats), you can use your 10 proxies for a set of Forces and some of the more expensive modern stuff, then the deck is much more affordable. I'd shy away from selling duals to buy the filler there, as it's all susceptible to reprints and much easier to obtain than duals. For the Workshop specifically, it really depends on whether you're likely to ever use it in EDH or something. Be aware that if you sell it, you're probably not going to own one again unless you're willing to put a lot of resources to it. If it's the difference between playing or not playing I would probably go for it, but I wouldn't be in any hurry.
If you do want to sell, Card Kingdom has good buylist pricing with a good credit bonus. I haven't sold to them personally, but they have an excellent reputation. If you're looking for the most money back, check out the buy/sell/trade facebook groups, specifically the high end mtg group for anything over $50. There's a large audience and you're going to get more than you would basically anywhere else, because you're selling directly to another person. It's also a good place to look for things like duals if you're selling one type to buy another.

I build legacy decks most as homebrews. My kitchen table format is legacy legal, so its a blast.
But I play without duals, using proxies or other modern legal mana fixers.
In other words, I definitely crack the dual lands for value and play with what I have.
Personally I enjoy it like this because I get to experience legacy decks without worrying about damaging or losing dual lands.
When you're ready to buy them back, do so. But thats just my take.
