I think the clear first option is Aluren. I'm actually going to be posting my most current aluren list to the thread in developing later today if you want to see what it looks like.
EDIT: Here's my list. Here's the list that T8'd GP Seaattle last year. Despite MGK's loss to Miracles in the Top8, Miracles is probably the best match-up for the deck, so if you consider Miracles a bit of a boogieman, fear not.

Imperial Painter
Elves
Tertiary Options (might fit your fancy but aren't a perfect fit by your post):
Food Chain
Imperial Taxes

Thanks for the reaction guys. Blue is not the color for me in legacy. Aluren looks quit cool but very expensive. Maverick seems a D&T deck? What is the difference there?
Elves look quit cool though.
Aluren is combo, Maverick is a creature based control deck similar to D&T, except that Maverick doesn't so much as tax you out of the game as it toolboxes up various solutions and stumbling blocks while it beats you to deck. It's fun and has strong synergy, but it doesn't feature a game winning combo like elves does, just a bunch of good hatebears and synergy. Maverick has kind of fallen out of favor from where it was 3-4 years ago, but it's still a solid deck. Elves is more like T1-T1.5 depending on the build and the pilot. Just gotta get dem Cradles.

I want to build long term deck that I plan to foil, some type of control.
I already have Burn and Dredge, and I want a control deck. First I looked at Miracles, but even if they didn't ban anything from it this time, it is a very real possibility from what I can see.
So I wanted to ask, what are other good control decks? There is Shardless BUG, how does it feel against Miracles and meta?
I see a lot of shardless on mtgtop8, but nothing wins tournaments, maybe top8. So won't this be dead end?
Also there are other control decks, like:
Lands - for some reason they don't appeal to me at all, I don't like play style.
Stoneblade - also don't like Mystic combo.
I'd prefer to play something with Force of Will and Brainstorm, and other disruption.
What do you feel, is Shardless BUG potent deck that is worth getting for long term?
Shardless and Stoneblade are both more controlling midrange than actual control. I would say the only prevalent control decks right now are Lands and Miracles (Lands being a debatable inclusion given how combo-y the RG version goes). I think miracles isn't in that much danger. It's readily answerable and WotC has shown surprisingly good restraint on their management of the legacy banlist. I obviously recommend you build the Punishing Mirakuls variant.
More fringe decks:
UR Landstill -- it topped in the last year or two and continues to lurk to occasionally rear up and spike an event.
Enchantress -- No brainstorm or force of will though. Various other prison decks are all options too.
Tezzerator -- Has FoW, no Brainstorm. Not sure if I'd call it control or any other macro-archetype, but you should take a look at it nonetheless.
D&T -- requires a control mindset, but I've come to conceive of it as a kind of mono-white tempo deck, so might not fit what you're looking for. Admittedly, I would recommend Imperial Taxes right now, not traditional D&T.
BUG Control -- Shows up infrequently. You get Innocent Blood, Pernicious Deed, Planeswalkers, etc. Also gets the Force of Will and Brainstorm you wanted. I've seen it pack 1-2 Life from the Loam to recur wasteland, manlands, and fetchlands before too.
Of the fringe decks, I think BUG control fits you best. I recommend that or Miracles, with UR landstill in 3rd place.
EDIT: To be clear: Shardless is a very good deck that I don't think will become suddenly bad. I was merely echoing Bosque's opinion that it's not really control -- it's more of the grindfest midrange deck that Jund is known for in other formats. If you enjoy the deck, by all means build it.

As far as tier control decks go, Miracles is in a class by itself. Bans are extremely unlikely given that they haven't already happened.
Shardless isn't a true control deck in the same sense of the words, though I would contend that Lands is. Tezzeret is cool and interesting but not in the same class as these two. UR Landstill had a small amount of interesting success when Treasure Cruise was a thing. That's a card, by the way, which did suddenly make Shardless worse.
It's a great deck that a lot of people get really into. It should certainly be examined.
I currently own legacy Death & Taxes, but I own few staples outside of that deck. I am finally ready to begin investing in another deck, but I can't decide what I'd like best.
I enjoy playing control/tempo decks that aren't blue. I've considered 4c Loam and Maverick, but I'm quite open to other options.
Ideally the deck would be something strong against Jund and/or Elves, which are prominent decks in my meta and horrendous match-ups for D&T.
Thanks for your input!

I think 4C Loam is a bit better than Maverick, but I don't have enough familiarity with it to know its match-ups against the mentioned decks.
I would mention Lands, especially RUG Lands as an option that will typically crush those two.
I also have a running plug for people to try Aluren as a control-ish midrange-ish combo-ish thing.

Thanks for your response. Aluren looks like fun, but it looks a little bit too "combo-ish" for my tastes. Lands, however, looks intriguing. I'll probably start picking up Mox Diamond, Grove of the Burnwillows and such, then I can decide later whether to build Lands or Loam.

I can't figure out if I shall buy blue/white stoneblade or D&T and i was wondering which one is better then the other one and if not which one care least about meta.I like them both but cant deicide
I would say DnT is the better deck, and it has a lot more recent success to back that up. It's likely to be a popular choice for the immediate future, seeing as it just got a bunch of new toys in the last couple sets. It's marginally more meta dependent than stoneblade because you don't have free countermagic, but there would have to be an awful lot of elves/glass cannon combo for that to be a big concern. It's been a successful deck (at varying levels) for the last couple years. It's also the deck that most benefits from the hatebear trend that WotC seems to be on right now.

If you have xmage I suggest you try both decks out on there. If I were to chose between the two I'd go with Death and Taxes. It's a great deck with some cool tricks, great control, and has a solid amount of answers. Plus, WotC loves to support D&T decks, so you can't go wrong playing the deck.
Hey, I've always been more of a collector than a player but I'd like to try my hand at Legacy. I've been trying to get good staples in black and green and was wondering if anyone had advice or ideas about which ways to expand my collection. The cards I have that may or may not be Legacy-worthy:
I don't have much experience with organized play. I think if I got Lilianas at this point I could make an ok Pox deck for Legacy. If I got Verdant Catacombs I think I could make an ok B/G Infect deck for Modern, and I'm weak in fetchlands anyway. You people seem to know what you're doing. Any suggestions? Hope I didn't take up too much space on your board.

Hey I am coming to this format with experiences primarily in modern and edh. In Modern I played affinity for about two years, then gave up on the aggro heavy meta. I did very well with the deck I got first place at states with it. In edh I really enjoy decks that are more combo oriented, and this is where I am struggling with ideas for legacy. I kinda want to avoid aggro decks as I feel just tired of them. I do feel I would enjoy a midrange or combo oriented deck, Storm looks like fun as well as dredge and reanimator. My main priority here is to find a deck that requires thought to pilot and is enjoyable when doing so. If there are other decks that may meet those wants better I'd really enjoy looking into them.
I've put together a mono-red burn deck already, but want to build other legacy decks. I'm pretty much limiting myself to one color for budget reasons. I saw that there are some mono-black Pox lists that have done pretty well. Any suggestions?
what in your opinion is the most viable mono black deck in legacy right now? I use to play suicide black years and years ago and would like to update the deck.
