Ah yeah that's the name of it, yeah I need that one, Executioner's Capsule, and Nihil Spellbomb. Still working on those, and it appears I have run out of Kodama's Reach too, so I need to scare up one of those also.

Just going off the game yesterday, I would say I would have loved to have gotten Krosan Vorine in play, as that one player kept playing Thalia, and to knock out token generators like Rhys. When I first saw people using him, I did scratch my head, but now I am thinking about how to use him, he looks solid.

Twisted Abomination does look solid, especially considering my all-star creature yesterday was Pewter Golem with Spidersilk Net on him, well that and Crypt Rats, those two won me the game.

I did find the Arcane Spyglass to be lacking, and I have been looking at Mind Stone, so it is a possibility, but Glissa did get tucked early, so I am not sure if it would have shined more later in game had I had access to Glissa.

Moriok Replica is a definite, for one thing, I just love the picture, and I definitely need the card draw. I just need to acquire one.

Rootgrapple will probably find a home once I figure out what cards are not working.

Sylvok Lifestaff was cut prior to me testing the deck, as I wanted Slagworm Armor instead.

Though I was not impressed with Kitesail early in the game, the ability to block fliers later was way too important so at this point it is not getting cut.

So far the primary weakness with this deck is, if Glissa gets tucked, I have no way to retrieve her, so I need to add more instant sac. Skulltap is not going to cut it.

Other cards that shined yesterday:

Anything with Trample was doing great.
Pestilent Souleater ate removal twice (people are scared of infect)
Cranial Plating (I was skeptical until I made a 12/1 Insatiable Souleater with trample)

Have you considered Bladed Pinions? I hadn't seen Krosan Vorine before (good with the pinions, btw). I think that is probably great in a mono-green list, but you have all sorts of reusable creature removal (Capsule, Longbow, Rats, your general as is etc.) so I don't think it's needed here.

Whispersilk Cloak? Protects your general, and she protects the cloak. Also unblockable > trample, which you already want more of. As for instant sac outlets, where is Ashnod's Altar?

You might want to look at the new Edict effect from GTC. Devour Flesh it seems like a solid inclusion.

I know Arcane Spyglass worked well for you today, but it seems a little weak if you're behind. Armillary Sphere and/or Mind Stone might also help with card advantage.

I agree, Arcane Spyglass worked okay, I would not even say it worked well. I am currently thinking of Mind Stone and rather than Armillary Sphere, I am going to go Horizon Spellbomb, its 1 land 1 draw rather than 2 land for virtually the same mana 4 vs 3G.

Bladed Pinions seems very good with or without Krosan Vorine(he may get cut soon), and was also mentioned by Zombie Shakes yesterday, I am thinking I will ditch Slagwurm Armor for it as the need for flying defense was very apparent yesterday.

Kinda thinking on the Ashnod's Altar (its white bordered) lol. A free sac outlet is good, but I do not have any shenanigans that I can abuse it with, and most other players get scared when you put it out and zap it. With that in mind, Viscera Seer or even Thoughtpicker Witch would work just as well and is cheaper.

Wispersilk Cloak is not needed, Glissa does not need to sneak around, she has first strike and deathtouch, and I only cast her when I am ready to use her abilities, if it was flying shroud, well it would be in here already.

I looked at Devour Flesh previously, I am considering it as an "oh crap save Glissa"/utility removal. I am at the Green Dragon quite frequently, I wonder if we already know each other?

What do you guys think of Oubliette and Paralyze?

Could be, I'm usually there on Friday night playing EDH with a group of sailors and/or Zombie and our combo buddy.

Paralyze would just be a cheap way to tie up a big blocker when I wanted to roll in. I have been listing all the commons and looking through them and those two came to mind, I actually opened an Oubliette from a pack back in "the day", and I still have it.

I looked at Leonin Bola, but rejected it because it required me to tap a creature, Tumble Magnet is in many decks but once I use the 3 counters it will probably just sit there, though as it sits there it powers up Cranial Plating. It is a possibility, but over all Oubliette is probably best of all since it can remove something I cannot deal with like a Darksteel Colosus or Ulamog.

I think Oubliette, Ashes to Ashes and Lignify are fine choices for this deck to handle indestructibles. I find that tap effects are only really for decks that are quite challenged in the creature removal department and not really needed if you have access to black or white.

Are there any green disenchant effects that exile in common? I would probably want one of those if I didn't have access to Oblivion Ring.

Why did you omit bojuka bog?

I am going to see how it plays before I add Deglamer, I have many ideas few spaces and not much testing, so I need to test more.

Bojuka Bog is going to be in the list along with some others, I just got one on Sunday. Will have to order a Command Tower, they are starting to get pricey.

Why don't you run any protection for glissa? In both my fully powered and pauper glissa decks (I really like glissa) I feel like sticking glissa and keeping her around is vital, to the point that I have 6 cards specifically for creature protection (in my pauper deck); even crappy ones like fortitude and herbal poultice. However you don't even run a whispersilk cloak, with the closest analog I can find being altar's reap. WTF?

Also, I read your flicker blues post. Run moonglove extract and blazing torch. I looked through Zombie Shakespeare's Mereike deck and his flicker engine relies on either archaeomancer, scrivener, or memnonic wall. Good luck dealing with the wall, but the first two die to the two removal artifacts above. They are also just great for pauper in general and synergize well with Glissa.

More ways to kill the trinity (Archaeo/Scrivener/mnemonic) is not the answer, as once the flicker engine is up and running, they can just be flickered and re-created as a new object. Also I play this deck against full powered EDH, so putting in things that only kill 2/2 wizards is not a great play long term. I considered both Moonglave/blazing torch, but decided in the end it was more of what was not working. The key to getting rid of the flicker engine is instant speed grave hate, which I have started adding in Crop Rotation to instant cast Bojuka Bog, and other ideas if that does not work.

As for protection, I never really thought of running Glissa as Voltron, not sure why, but I thought of her more as an engine. Maybe its something I should think more about.

fair enough, although I meant that you could kill them in response to flickering, destroying the engine and countering the flicker. Although all it takes is a disturbed burial to get it going again, so that's probably a better idea.

I didn't mean voltron. Perhaps my meta is different, but Glissa draws all the removal, so I need gobs of protection for her to stay on the board.

I never really updated it, the last update was Crop Rotation, as I got on the Nin kick. Not really sure which way to go with Glissa, it seemed to run fine, but end games vs flicker, are always bad.

I might throw in Tormod's Crypt and a couple of things to Voltron her more, she was swinging for 8 last game we played.
