Just a fun, more or less casual big dumb beats tribal. I am far and away more of a combo and control player so a deck like this is very much outside of my usual wheelhouse so I've had fun doing something new.
I wanted to focus more on flavor than strictly optimization, which is why I am basically not running mana rocks and such. I'm sure it can still use some work, not sure if I want to be running more creatures than I am or not as there were a bunch I cut when I was trimming the deck down (I had the list up to like 132 before this).
Updated post Ikoria release. Have made a few adjustments and refinements and am overall happy with how the deck has been testing. Have the cards I didn't already have or pulled from Ikoria on the way now.
I've made a few little tweaks since I first posted this. Have been playing the list quite a bit both on Cockatrice and in paper and it has been an absolute blast, it's actually performing way better than I had anticipated so I'm pretty proud of it.
