So basically i’m making an urza combo deck for CEdh, it’s my first combo or even cedh deck ever. My goal is to get infinite mana early as possible to play urza and essentially use his ability to play my entire deck and ultimately win with lab maniac or the new Jace. Here are all my ways to go infinite. Should i cut any? Is this too much?
Banishing knack + battered golem
Pili pala + grand architect
Basalt monolith + rings of blight
Isochron sceptre + dramatic reversal
Deadeye navigator + palinchron
Deadeye navigator + peregrine drake
Deadeye nav + Urza lord high + Genesis Chamber
Deadeye nav+ cloud of fairies + Ancient tomb
If I made him I'd include a stax package. Static orb, storage matrix, trinisphere, and winter orb slow down your opponents, but they generate mana for you.
When making any combo deck you always have to work out the maximum potential matrix of all the cards involved, and what sort of impact each of them on an individual level are compared to the rest of the deck?
Banishing Knack + Battered Golem
Still needs a zero cost artifact right to make an actual combo? Battered Golem on it's own is a pretty strong card given Urza, so you can be comfortable with this. Banishing Knack can be used on it's own as a one shot disruption. In a meta where Chain of Vapors is valued for it's cheap disruption, needing an untapped creature isn't the hardest, so again it's "fine" on it's own.
But I do think you need the zero cost artifact, or artifacts that can pay for themselves, Sol Ring, Mana Crypt, Mana Vault, Grim Monolith, Basalt Monolith.
Basalt Monolith + Rings of Brighthearth
Getting back to matrix interactions, what else does Rings of Brighthearth do in the deck? Make a list. From experience, Rings of Brighthearth is hard to get value, so just make sure other card selections may help make this card better. Basalt Monolith is always going to be a fine card and hey you can always converted 3 into U with Urza, as a filter mechanism.
Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal
Again card selection for the rest of your 99 can be swayed with further targets for Isochron Scepter.
Already you could put Banishing Knack under it and use it to return a low cost artifact, with Paradox Engine in play for infinite.
This is what I mean by you want to get a high a matrix of combos, so that you have additional options.
Deadeye Navigator + Urza + Genesis Chamber.
Not a huge fan of Genesis Chamber in a cEDH deck, given that your combo works at sorcery speed, and it's an entire turn before you'd get to attack with your creatures. So believe it or not, might just be a bit slow.
Also how many ways do you have to search for some of these combo cards? The more ways you have, the higher value you can place on them.
If you're comfortable with posting a full deck list, then we can work through some of these questions, and potentially raise the playability of each one with further card choices.

Pili-Pala + Grand Architect.
Just because Grand Architect is so strong on it's own, feel pretty good about putting this combo in.

Deadeye Navigator + Palinchron.
Deadeye Navigator + Peregrine Drake.
Deadeye Navigator + Cloud of Fairies + Ancient Tomb.
How many many mana doublers are you playing? High Tide, Extraplanar Lens, etc.
This helps to make the untap land creatures have more impact when not combined with Deadeye Navigator.
Does Deadeye Navigator have additional ETB/LTB targets in the deck.
