MTG Salvation

Having grown tired of, perhaps even embarrassed of, my wholly unoriginal Baral Polymorph concept, I had to put together a deck from the ground up. I chose Liliana, Heretical Healer. I wanted to represent two effects extremely well: "each x sacrifices" and "each x discards". X can be player or opponent. I wanted a game plan that looked for less represented cards in the format. Generally, I hope to just +Lili and shoot for the emblem before I start doing a mix of + and - for the real value. I didn't want any of my effects described above to come from combat triggers - they're predominantly ETB, with a smattering of LTB for good measure. I didn't want to risk losing a card to removal before it hit all my opponents, so all of my effects hit everyone simultaneously -- it conspicuously avoids cards like the genre namesake Smokestack. The win condition is black's trademark variety of life-drain, albeit typically on a bleeder scale and not a blow-out, big mana finish. I didn't go into building this deck with a budget, and I didn't choose or not choose any cards with price in mind. I just used Gatherer and plopped in "each player/opponent sacrifices/discards" and went from there. The deck ended up insanely budget -- under 100.
