I've been tuning a very similar list but without the combo focus. Being combo focused tends to be frowned upon in my group and gets hated out, plus in my experience so far I've found that in many, many cases the combo would just be "win more", since one or two Najeela activations often wins the game anyway.
Yeah 100% agree. You don't need all the combos, but I'm keeping the list as more of a resource guide for people wanting to know what is available on the combo front.
I've found the Sword of Feast and Famine to be too literally hit or miss. Even making sure your lands provide the actual WUBRG is a issue that does crop up often.
Your list looks pretty spot on for a more tuned version to me, they only card I would really put in to be more Spikey is Derevi, Empyrial Tactician. Also Reconnaissance is really good, helps out a lot with "evasion".

That makes sense. It is nice to know about the various options. I've chosen to include only one of the easy infinite lines, just because it's nice to have a combo in the back pocket if/when needed. It used to be Bear Umbra, but I decided to swap for Druids' Repository, probably for the same reasons Repository is one of your preferred ones over Sword of Feast and Famine and such. Plus, I didn't like the non-bo with a Steely Resolve already on the table.

Thanks, I've been pretty happy with it so far. I have been considering Reconnaissance. I do like the card, and love how cheap it is. It's been a maybe since I first put the list together. Probably find its way in eventually.
On another note, I definitely acknowledge the power level of Cathars' Crusade and Valor in Akros in here. To be quite honest, the primary reason I excluded them was because of the logistical issues with tracking them. Beastmaster Ascension may be worse, but it doesn't give the same headache, y'know? Plus I've been trying to keep the average CMC of the deck quite low (currently 2.20, nothing over 4 CMC).
Curious if you've updated this list since July/August of last year? Planning on throwing one together and interested to see if you've had any changes.
I haven't played her much at all. There are changes that I've made, specifically around the amount of infinite combos in the deck. It turns out that you really only need a few attacks with her and it's all over.
So in the end it's more about protecting her, or being able to cast her out again in the face of removal.
But I've specifically NOT changed the deck list in the primer, as it's more of a resource guide for what you CAN do with infinite's.
What I did was take out all the equipment related cards, some other infinite combo elements and basically just replaced them with some additional smallball warriors, counterspells and land ramp. Too be honest not sure what else.
But here is my update list, but unfortunately I'm too lazy to organize it. Hopefully it will do you.
But also Najeela, the Blade-Blossom is ranked in the top ten for cEDH. Now I don't know what is supposed to be the best deck, but it seems like the general approach is that the decks are pure control and stax, trying to lock opponents out of the game with like the best cards from 5 colors. Basically zero "warrior" elements. The reason is that Najeela, the Blade-Blossom just attacking uncontested is a win condition. The doubling part soon gets out-of-control, so you don't even need infinites, or other warriors in deck for that matter, if you are just stopping opponents from stopping you.
So my deck is still spikey, but I still keep it on theme with elements of warriors and card advantage, etc. So up to you how far you want to take the competitive level.
Rhythm of the Wild and Unbreakable Formation seem good additions to the deck, at least the gruul enchantment. Uncounterable creatures and haste I think is relevant.
The only ones that I really like are Druids' Repository, Derevi, Empyrial Tactician, Nature's Will.

Here is a link to a deck, but I don't know at all if it's considered the best framework, but you can certainly see how it's not focused around Najeela at all.
