Of all the color combinations, minus the 4-color ones, abzan took me the longest to get to, by several years. This is mostly because all the abzan commanders are pretty damn boring, or extremely well-trod and predictable. Tymna and Sidar are kind of fun for being some of the only partners to have some pretty significant synergy, and I've been playing a bunch of creature-light decks recently so it seemed like a reasonable choice.
Main theme of the deck is hatebears, but there's also a significant amount of effort dedicated to keeping my team alive through wraths and whatnot. Luckily there's a handful of wraths that miss my entire team, so those are in there. The deck is very low curve so I can play everything out fast enough to avoid discarding to hand size.
Anyway whatever, done with the rainbow. At least until I get around to finishing up the 4-colors.
Seems to me like you have enough 2-drops to benefit from Return to the Ranks, which is a powerful card that I've long sought a home for. You might also benefit from Immortal Servitude and Rally the Ancestors, to other mass recursion cards that benefit from your overall extremely low curve.
I've stumbled into this combination in the past month also - after a fond memory of an abzan build shortly after Karador came out. My hope is that I could find something fun to play, scalable against casual to semi-competitive tables and a little bit aggro, little bit combo with hardly any stax. There's still a few things I need to figure out how to work in - like Spore Frog/Kami of False Hope
I've been doing a ton of research and a *lot* of tweaking to get where I am now - and here's my list below.
