Personally, I don't see the Etched Champion being worth adding - sure it's harder for it to bite removal, but it's never going to be target #1 anyway as an otherwise vanilla 2/2. In addition to that, with metalcraft activated, it's harder for it to be affected by some of the spells you own that you might want to target with - Saheeli's Artistry, Dance of Many, Rite of Replication, Cackling Counterpart, Opposition and even your walkers. I used to run him in a Sydri, Galvanic Genius deck, and honestly he was underwhelming - sure he's heavily protected, but in the end no one cares either way.

You have a point, I cannot interact with the Champion once it's protected, the same reason I consider removing Sword of Body and Mind but it is useful with or without Temmet. Crook of Condemnation might be the answer I need, a fetchable hate card.

So it seems your philosophy on running Temmet is very similar to mine and while I go much heavier on the equipment theme I really like the look of your list! I do have a few questions and a suggestion. How have the legendary dragons (and to a lesser extent reef worm) performed for you? I like the idea of cloning them for triggers but I’m not sure if I should commit to one/both. I love Keeper of Keys in this list and definitely have to test him out in mine. An all-star in my deck has been Ixidron as an emergency pseudo-wrath that doesn’t change up any clone tokens we happen to make.
I am also going to be testing God-Pharaoh’s Gift (expensive but could be huge at churning out value tokens), Mirage Mirror (Overall a great utility card that will also help summon Marit Lage), and maybe Hour of Eternity (as a token making body double with extra upside late game). Any thoughts on these?
So I'm guessing that Hour of Eternity is going to be an autoinclude here?
Maybe, I do have to take into account that cards exiled will never be used again, but the mass resurrection can turn the tide if I copy those tokens after wards (the new copies would return to their original size). I will test it once Cockatrice is updated. My current deck has both Karmic Guide and Reveillark to recur more of the creatures in my deck, and at one point I manage to get Blade of Selves on either one to cause havoc.

Thx for the list, I will check it out after this reply. I must say that the Dragons and Reef Worm have been VERY effective, so much so they become hate magnet after one game, and outright irking if I copy the dragons in response to their removal. If you have to pick one dragon to use, it's no doubt Yosei, the Morning, he alone locks down the whole board, and with Blade of Selves there's no limit to how many players he could lock down at once.
Like with Hour of Eternity, I am slightly reluctant to exile the creatures for copies using Gift, but it would be nice as a final show down. If I intend to use more of such cards, Intuition would be a must for that strategy. Again, this requires testing. The mana can be a little overwhelming with all the new expensive cards, a balance must be achieved, like Land Tax and Knight of the White Orchid since SOMEONE in the game would always go green and ramp.
Mirage Mirror is already on my wishlist to pick up. I mentioned earlier in the thread where you can copy a dragon, dies due to legendary rule, then auto return with Sun Titan repeatedly for lock down.
And a new card just in:
Vizier of Consecrations 3U
Creature - Human Cleric
When ~ enters the battlefied, search your library for a card with Embalm or Eternalize, put it in your graveyard, then shuffle your library.
Whenever you Eternalize or Embalm, draw a card.
2/4
I can imagine getting Vizier of Many Faces and copy VoC itself, so whenever embalm/eternalize happens (likely from Temmet himself) you draw two cards. :3
