hey all, sorry for my sudden absence. i dunno if you can tell by the location under my username but i live in puerto rico. the situation here has been catastrophic - especially my hometown, one of the municipalities where the eye of hurricane maria passed. i've been without water, electricity, internet, and cellphone service. it's also been impossible to efficiently obtain gasoline and food. it's been altogether completely impossible to get bottled water. i'm on a friend's phone right now who managed to get some service working at the capitol. not to mention the fact that i've been without electricity and internet since hurricane irma. oh well... anyways, it'll probably be a lot longer since i have any kind of normality. hopefully my threads still remain active because they're not simply here for my own opinions and ideas but the community's as well. so you can all still use them to help each other out. you can still ask me stuff, as well; i simply won't be able to reply anytime soon.

I think a strength of wheeling constantly is being able to find very few win conditions in your deck. Thank you for providing both your lists, I run something very similar with a few edits.
Here's the gameplan for my deck:
Step 0 (optional): Establish some protection, via City of Solitude or Lightning Greaves
Step 1: Get Kydele out
Step 2: Get an untap effect, so Kydele can start generating more mana. Examples: Singing Bell Strike - If you drew 7 cards, makes infinite colorless mana Sword of the Paruns and Umbral Mantle - Infinite colorless mana if you've drawn 4 cards in a turn). Also, these give you infinite colored mana if you have an active Magus of the Candelabra. Paradox Engine and Mind over Matter don't exactly give infinite mana, but you start generating a LOT of both colorless and colored.
Step 3: Start going off by drawing enough cards that Kydele can start generating dumb amounts of mana.
Step 4: Keep wheeling until you find a wincon
Step 5: Win via X-spell or Lab Maniac.
Other stuff:
I run Karoos (like Golgari Rot Farm), because they work well with Magus of the Candelabra (to convert colorless mana to colored once I'm going off) and Frantic Search (free cycling without karoos which builds Kydele, net positive with karoo lands).
Maybe it's because I don't run Alhammarret's Archive, but I've never encountered a problem with drawing TOO many cards. I thought Skirge Familiar would be great because it would provide mana in a pinch, but I find that black is the least useful color.
Although Avacyn's Judgment might be okay since you can discard it while playing it, I think Villainous Wealth is better - also an instant win, doesn't matter if you mill it if you run Past in Flames, and in the case you can't finish someone off, still does a significant effect if X is like 10-20.
I prefer X-spellsthan punishment effects as wincons - megrim, Nekusar, Niv-Mizzet, Psychosis craller - because I think once you're going off, you'll have enough mana/wheel enough times to find what you need.
Thanks for the support! Some areas on the island finally have electricity, water, and internet. Although my area doesn't, my aunt does so I'm finally able to at least sit down for a couple of minutes and get my MtG fix in. Not enough to maybe play a game on 'Trice, but definitely to blow away some of the cobwebs I got on MTGSalvation.
As for the suggestions you made in your previous post, I love Mind Over Matter. Ever since I cracked one open in a booster pack way back when. I have considered Umbral Mantle before, as well. It definitely goes infinite with Kydele fairly easily.
Your gameplan is pretty solid. Protecting Kydele is a must, being as she generates a degenerate amount of mana. I don't worry too much about it, though, due to all the mana rocks I run and Paradox Engine. Most of my wheels are cheap enough so that with a good amount of rocks and Paradox Engine in play, I can untap all my rocks and get enough mana to win (especially if I'm also running Doubling Cube and Candelabra of Tawnos).
Your idea on X spells isn't a bad one. I did run some of them in an early draft of the deck. But most of the time I didn't have enough mana in the pool to cast them and they'd be wheeled away while I raised my draw count to abuse Kydele. So the moment would have to be just right for an X spell to be a wincon. That's one of the reasons why I love Avacyn's Judgment and Cut // Ribbons. I used to run Exsanguinate and Comet Storm but was hardly able to pull off a win with either - at least not as frequently as I do with Cut // Ribbons and Avacyn's Judgment (although if I had to make a cut in the deck for a great card, Avacyn's Judgment would probably be the first cut to test).
Have you played your deck some since last you posted? How has your list been coming along?

The deck's been running smoothly for the moment. However, I still want to try and find space to test out Primal Amulet, Raiders' Wake, Underworld Dreams, and Wheel and Deal. I want to try Primal Amulet because not only will it reduce the cost of my instants and sorceries, but once it transforms I will be able to copy them. Copying wheels will go a long way. I want to test whether or not it'll make the deck faster or just be winmore. Raiders' Wake would just be redundant for Liliana's Caress and Megrim. Underworld Dreams and Wheel and Deal were staples when I was running Nekusar, the Mindrazer. Another staple from my Nekusar deck was Waste Not. I'm considering testing it again since it could get me mana and card draw. I don't know what to swap out to test. Here's my current list:

Thanks! Glad a Nekusar afficionado such as yourself likes it! I'm trying to add other cards to it. Do you think it's possible or is the list too tight? I want to test out Primal Amulet, Raiders' Wake, Underworld Dreams, Wheel and Deal, and Waste Not. Do you have any cuts to suggest? Here's what I was contemplating doing:
This eliminates two wincons but it does add one (Raiders' Wake) and two cards for the toolbox that could be very useful and close games much quicker.
Thanks! The situation has gotten only slightly better but it's been at a snail's pace. I haven't have power for 89 straight days. At least my grandmother's house has power, water, and internet. So I'm able to go there during the weekends to do laundry. But it's been very harrowing. And I'm not even in the worst of it. There are still refugees from hurricane Irma. The cuts look good, except for Cut//Ribbons. It looks too good to "cut" lol. Of the cards in the main deck, I really don't like Collective Defiance and Laquatus' Creativity. They just seem meh for what they do; but then again, I haven't tested them. Those are my suggestions.

Thanks for the input. I keep those two because although they’re one-sided wheels, they’re wheels nonetheless. And I want to be wheeling as much as possible. I want to test the deck out without Cut // Ribbons because although it’s a wincon, most of the time I win with a lot of wheeling and cards like Megrim in play. With City of Solitude in play, I’ve basically secured the win.

I love this deck btw. I used to run a yidris deck with practically the same list. I am currently running a Kess, the dissident mage wheel deck with The Locust God thrown in for hijinks!
I built a The Locust God deck that has many different ways of playing and I love the chaotic nature of it. I opened it as my foil in the HOU prerelease and built the deck only using cards I already have in my collection.
Firestorm seems like an interesting way to discard cards I'm going to be recovering anyways. I may end up testing it. I just have to see what to test as a possible swap.
Master of the Way? What card are you referring to?

Just made the deck in MTG Salvation deck builder. This is one of my favourite decks because i lvoe the absurd mess i causes. Alot of counting tough....
As a mathematician, I absolutely love the mathematical chaos caused by this deck and all the maths I have to do and the counting. The numbers are ridiculous. It reminds me of my Zada, Hedron Grinder deck. Even in Cockatrice it can be a bit overwhelming at times!

From Rivals of Ixalan, these are the cards that caught my fancy:
Induced Amnesia - I consider this a pseudo wheel. I'm leery of its inclusion since the only way to recover the exiled cards would be sacrificing it to Claws of Gix. That being said, it goes great with a hand full of lands.
Azor's Gateway / Sanctum of the Sun - With so many artifacts that could potentially be exiled for the greater good, it's very likely to be able to transform it into Sanctum of the Sun. The amount of mana produced should be epic.

A previous card that I would like to test is Neheb, the Eternal. One reason is that it can give me so much mana if I ever run out of steam. For example, if I wheel a lot and deal a lot of damage that way but I run out of steam before killing off the table, I can just enter combat, not declare any attackers, and then enter my second main phase where Neheb will give me a ton of R for to continue to do stuff. So far I haven't really gotten into much trouble in that department but it is a possibility.

Toothy, Imaginary Friend - Although situational, if I draw a lot of cards and give it tons of +1/+1 counters, if I run out of steam, I can just sacrifice it to Claws of Gix and then draw into some more cards.
Game Plan - Even if no one assists me in casting, it's still another "wheel" for the deck that resets the graveyard, too.
Khorvath's Fury - I can wheel for anyone by saying choosing them as friend but I could also snipe any opponents with a fat hand by choosing them as "foe". Pretty interesting wheel.
Sentinel Tower - Similar in spirit to Aetherflux Reservoir only that instead of gaining life to snipe opponents, I'm outright pinging them for incremental damage each time. Could be an additional wincon.
Will Kenrith - The only reason I would run Will is because of his emblem and his \-2/ ability. I really doubt his emblem will ever get online but his \-2/ ability is what I'm most interested in. He costs 4UU but if after casting him I can cast more than 4 wheels than he paid for himself.

Okay, so I have been finally able to test the deck a bit. Black is definitely the color least seen in the deck. However, although I have touched upon that subject before (using another partner with Kydele and just making it GRU), black does have some key cards - especially some of the wincons plus Skirge Familiar. However, although I have a solid mana base, casting Underworld Dreams is a trifle difficult. I tried swapping out the solitary Swamp for Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth to make it better. Yet, with the release of Battlebond I found that it would be better to find space for the new "dual lands" (especially since some lands were underperforming). So I have made to changes to reflect the latest cards released for the format's cardpool plus more consistency for the mana base. Here are the recent changes I've made. I will try to explain as much as necessary:
I took out all the signets because there's just too many mana rocks and sometimes the mana cost makes a difference. Especially when you're really into a turn and having rotten luck digging into the deck. Having mana rocks that cost 0 really helps so some signets were swapped for those. The rest were swapped for talismans or cards the deck was looking to have space for (like Raiders' Wake and Waste Not, for example).
Avacyn's Judgment was always hit or miss. Lots of times I was discarding it without having enough mana to make it worthwhile. I'd rather add something more consistent.
I took out Collective Defiance because Khorvath's Fury is just a better wheel in the same color. It costs more but is easier to cast plus it has more variability.
The mana base definitely improved thanks to Battlebond. Those lands were underperforming and the new lands are simply better.

This is probably a dumb question, but how do you win via Lab Maniac, when there's Kozilek in your list?
Instead of discarding it I cast it. Or, with Library of Leng out, instead of discarding it to the graveyard when I activate a wheel effect or cast a wheel, I just topdeck it; it never touches the graveyard.

Thousand-Year Storm is amazing for this deck. Every wheel cast will be copied for every spell cast before it. That makes the deck run even faster. Definitely gonna find space for this one!

Instead of discarding it I cast it. Or, with Library of Leng out, instead of discarding it to the graveyard when I activate a wheel effect or cast a wheel, I just topdeck it; it never touches the graveyard.
