MTG Salvation

My first attempt at this deck was a 1v1 decklist posted several years ago with a LD focus. I realized quite some time ago that I don't play 1v1, I mainly play with small groups of friends and at LGSs in my area. I further realized that I don't like to play mass LD because it is not the most fun to play in the casual environment that EDH fosters. This is mainly a place to put my decklist online, but if you feel the need to put forward any thoughts or ideas, I will always welcome discussion towards this decklist. Thanks.

Thanks man, this is my first or second favourite deck to play. Not sure really, I think it's been in the include pile, but I'm not sure what to cut for it honestly. I'm thinking possibly butting Reforge the Soul, I don't like my opponents drawing a new grip at any point in a game.

I've been trying to fit in Goblin Bombardment, Vicious Shadows, and Heartstone but I can't make sense of most of the cuts.

Blasphemous Act is also in the back of my mind as well.

Yeah, using Feldon to get a Burnished Hart and ripping three mana seems counterproductive. Good Call.

Added in a Treasure Keeper for getting combo artifacts into play faster. May have lots of downside taking out Balefire Dragon but, I never really chose to make copies of it when it was in the yard so maybe the improved curve will help out in the long run.

Started getting Expeditions for the non-basics, it never ends. (1000th post :))

Ordered most of this deck today. Looking forward to playing Feldon, he seems pretty different from most red commanders. One question though, why Solvent over Unstable Obelisk? Without Trinket mage to fetch it out I feel like having the obelisk that doubles as a rock should be more useful. Thanks for the list friend

Thanks man. This deck is loads of fun, as far as solvent over obelisk, there really isn't a reason other than it's cheaper. The mana rock is probably the better option, seeing as red needs ramp/excel. You can grab most of the good stuff with Hoarding Dragon. Yeah I should reevaluate the Unstable Obelisk, good call! I haven't gotten Etali into the yard and abused it but the potential for value is too good to pass on.

My deck's story is that Poor Feldon buys shoddy parts from disreputable dealers and thus, nearly everything he tries to make turns out a Goblin. purphoros seems like an strictly better Sneak Attack, even if its activation cost is higher
