+Yosei, the Morning Star = probably doesn't help the mana curve, but he's Mayael tutorable, and in this deck has a chance of dying pretty fast
+Figure of Destiny = Now, THIS guy will help the mana curve, and unlike Zendikar leveling, his can be done at instant speed to save him from damage
+Angelic Arbiter = helpful once he hits the field, and Mayael tutorable...let's give him a shot
The Engine is more value, to go along with my Worldbreaker, and if he's not out, Hulk can bring him into the field for value as well. The Temptation card can help loads with my mana ramp. I'm hoping I didn't make a mistake by knocking off the signets...the attempt is to get more creature cards and mana ramp in, but the signets don't come into play as often as I feel they should to earn a slot.
EDIT: Forgot to mention the dropping of Plowbeasts for Defense. Ever since it was mentioned, Defense has been on my radar, and I finally found one. Looking forward to seeing that work some magic.
+ Mirari's Wake = Needed to make the beatsticks beatier, and definitely for when I need to hardcast the big guys.
+ Krosan Verge = Mana fixing when necessary.
+ Zendikar Resurgent = More hardcast help, with hand replenishing if necessary. Cheating them in with the Piper or Mayael won't work with the second part, but even so...
+ Fleecemane Lion = trying to help with the mana curve here, even though he can't be cheated with Mayael...
What our thoughts on Samut, Voice of Dissent? Mass haste, and her untap is generally a useful ability. More so with Selvala and the like, but untapping a fatty on defense seems solid. She keeps coming in and out or my Wurms list, but these lists also like to play big dumb things so I figured I'd ask.
Mayael has now taken a dirt nap. I still like the concept, and perhaps with more time I could get her to work better, but after having bought the Edgar Markov deck and being in the process of building an Intet deck, a lot of the cards could be used elsewhere for the time being. It's been a good run with the elven leader, but the time has come to say 'See ya later'.
