Okay, so...first decklist on this forum. Got 5 decks total, but I'm going to space them out to let the forum breathe. Anyway, first up is probably a common one...suggestions/critiques/comments are welcome, though I've got a straight up plan for the land-base, so you can skip that. This and most of my other decks will be more 'casual to competitive', able to swap as needed.
Even while I was looking at that thread, it kept making my head asplode. lol However, I finally get it, and will have my future EDH decks done in the correct style from the start, so thanks!
That DOES seem to be a problem that I run into now and again. The flip side of it was running into having NO fatties for Mayael to ETB mid-game, which doesn't help me either. I'm thinking Sarkhan, Domri, and the Tarkir dragons will have to go, then...and I'll have to see what weenies I can put in.
EDIT: Adjusted one more time for some weenies. Probably could/should add more, but I'll need to see who else should be on the chopping block beforehand.
+ Carpet of Flowers: Got this idea from Dies to Doom Blade. Mana does seem to be a problem now and then for this deck, so if enough people are running blue, this could turn things around, hopefully.
+ Purphoros, God of the Forge: Really should have had this guy in sooner, but better late than never. Shocking people AND bolting them may draw a lot of hate, but hopefully will end more games in my favor.
+ Xenagos, the Reveler: Combination of mana fixing and weenies until I can get my armada online.
- Strionic Resonator: Yeah, I got a lot of guys that have triggers, but this ended up not being the piece I thought it would be. Now, wait for the time I could REALLY use it, only to realize...
- Hypergenesis: Fun the one time I used it, but I've never seen it in my hand since or before. Out it goes.
- Overwhelming Stampede: I've got the feeling that if I need this to win, my deck isn't functioning as well as it should. Besides, god-Xenagos and Craterhoof Behemoth should be enough as is.
Not that I'm an expert, but here's some recommendations:
-Bosh, Iron Golem: With only 4 artifacts, you won't be getting much utility out of him beyond being a generic trampling fatty.
-Emrakul, the Promised End: Since the idea is to cheat huge creatures like Emrakul into play, you won't get the controlled turn unless you hold out until you have 13 mana.
-Aurelia, the Warleader: While she's one of my favorite cards, she can't be cheated out with Mayael.
And especially in a deck with lots of high-cost cards, you'll need more mana ramp, mana rocks, and probably some mana dorks. Here's some recommendations:
Sol Ring: This is a Commander Staple. There's a reason its reprinted and put in every year's precons.
I usually use the full cycles of Cluestones (Boros Cluestone, as well as Selesnya and Gruul). Once you have enough lands and don't need the rocks, you can sac them to draw a card. Gilded Lotus works well in a ramp-heavy deck.
-Bosh, Iron Golem: Consider that not only can he throw the other artifact creatures I have in my deck(Steel Hellkite, Darksteel Colossus, etc.)as well as base artifacts, Bosh can actually also throw himself. So, if I find myself pinned down and unable to do direct combat damage, I've got a toss engine. I thought as you do too...I really considered throwing him out several times, but the ability to surprise someone with an 11 or 8 point fireball out of nowhere is funny, you gotta admit.
-Emrakul, the Promised End: He's on the edge. I'm giving him a little more time to play and see how things turn out. Not getting the cast trigger isn't a big deal to me(Emmy 1.0, on the other hand...)
-Aurelia, the Warleader: True, but she CAN provide the extra 'oomph' if I need it when someone's trying to hang on. Still, that's why I have Hellkite Charger and FaF...
Sol Ring: I don't know why that's not already in...WTH happened?
Gift of Estates: During one of my tweaks to this deck, I thought about putting it in. However, even with Canopy Vista and Sacred Foundry in my deck, that's only six Plains. Not entirely sure that would be worth having in there.
Cluestones (Boros Cluestone, as well as Selesnya and Gruul) Gilded Lotus: Don't have ANY of the cluestones, though I do have a Lotus and the appropriate signets. Worth considering.
Another Mayael player! check out the primer in my signature to peruse for some more ideas. There are some great ideas in the thread and maybe it will spark some inspiration. My list is more dedicated to an angel and dragon theme, all of which as we know have high power and are great targets for Mayael.
Just from a quick look, Spellbreaker Behemoth is a great creature, but if you plan to be activating Mayael more, she will make them near uncounterable anyway with her activation aside from a short list of spells. Spearbreaker Behemoth I have noticed has been a great boon to the deck making things indestrucuble when I need it. I love extra combat steps, but Hellkite Charger may be hard to activate during a turn when you activate Mayael. That will be a total of 8RRRGW to activate both in one turn. That can be hard in a heavy mana cost deck. I'd recommend some cheap creatures that can fetch lands or generate mana. Lotus Cobra, Wood Elves, Sakura-Tribe Elder, and the above mentioned Karametra's Acolyte.
I hope this helps and take a look at my thread for more ideas.

I have taken a skim through your list, mostly at the spells/enchantments. There are some good ideas that definitely inspection, so I may consider more tradeouts.
Spellbreaker is a good point. I think that stayed as long as it did because Mayael draws a bit of hate after she activates a few times, often forcing me to start hard-casting. That being said, he's on the edge now...we'll see what effect, if any, he has on the next game or two.
Charger may stay, however...the potential for end-game shenanigans with FaF is too great to ignore. If I had an extra Bear Umbra, I'd use that as well. He will, however, be on the watch list.
Haven't made these changes final yet, but so far, I'm looking at this:
- Hymn of Rebirth doesn't seem to fit in the deck's theme, but it's an iffy prospect...recursion is rarely a bad idea.
- Emrakul, the Promised End If he has to go, he has to go...not as much of a thing as I thought he might be.
- The Chain Veil Not sure if this is something that should go...are 3 PWs enough value to keep it in?
- Spellbreaker Behemoth Fair point made, going.
- Aurelia, the Warleader Another iffy one...again, swinging for two attacks per round is something I like with big beats

You made some good cuts in my opinion. The Chain Veil is usually only good in a dedicated planeswalker deck. If you ever have it without your planewalkers you will wish you had something else about 96% of the time (3% of the deck has planeswalkers).
Emrakul is a very good card regardless of his cast trigger. It's hard to beat a 13/13 Flying, Trample, and pro to most spot removal. But he can just as easily be replaced by another good target.
Aurelia, the War Leader is a personal favorite of mine. At least she triggers on her attack which means a good alpha strike with all of your creatures twice. However, I chose not go with her for the fact Mayael is not able to grab her off the top.
Hymn of Rebirth is a a nice spell, but doesn't suit the deck. Instead of grabbing creatures from the yard, empty the ones you have in your hand/deck with Selvala's Stampede. This is a card I have yet to get into my list but I have every intention of adding.
+ Combustible Gearhulk - it took me a LONG time to decide whether this guy should go into my Niv deck or here. But since card draw is already so prevalent in Niv, here is where it will be. And what a Hobson's Choice it will be for my target...
+ Mountain - the mana base number was concerning, and I have been shorted before in games. I'll bump it one at a time and see what happens...
- Razia's Purification - I did NOT want to take this out, as it's awesome when I have multiple beaters and my opponents don't. But I think it's too iffy right now.
- Regrowth - eh...just wasn't feeling it. I've never cast it, and truthfully I have GY recursion anyway.
This is my list which i used to run, you could get some inspiration out of it maybe?
...
There are some good choices there. It seems like we had a lot of the same decisions on creatures, at least. Some have unfortunately been removed for various reasons, and others(like Yosei) are dedicated to other decks.
The enchantments most intrigue me, so I'll keep an eye out for those during trade sessions. Thanks for the advice.
Not sure if Dragonlord Dromoka should go here or in my Sisay deck...and what about Arlinn Kord/Arlinn, Embraced by the Moon? She seems like she could fit in well here, even if only to provide tokens for Xen to take advantage of. And that ultimate...*whistle*
Arlinn Kord is weak, srsly I would rather stuff more big creatures or mana ramp.
Since you would want Mayael to flip creatures instead of planeswalkers, which explains why my list contains no planeswalkers.
Hm...I'll keep that in mind. There are still some other spells and such that I want, so maybe I'll see about phasing the others out as I acquire the others.
- Serra Avatar = didn't come up much, so I dropped her. She may very well come back, considering one of the later additions...
+ Inferno Titan = a dividable bolt when he enters and attacks? Sounds good.
- Akroma, Angel of Wrath = She went elsewhere.
+ Wall of Reverence = There are a number of creatures this could be hilariously effective with. Plus, pretty solid blocking.
- Twilight Shepherd = I have some counters against wrath effects, and those usually happen when she's far from being dropped.
+ Impromptu Raid = Raid o' clock and all's SMASHED! Definite include. Can get hilariously out of hand with Mayael, and GY recursion is taken care of by Ulamog.
- Domri Rade = Much as I might hate to admit it, Domri is not the planeswalker for this deck. Even the others are questionable...
+ Where Ancients Tread = I have no excuse for not auto-including this earlier.
- Reverberate = Not often I'll be looking to duplicate my own spells, and I have Wild Ricochet as is.
+ Tooth and Nail = The card everyone loves to hate seeing in a big beats deck.
Seedborn Muse for the extra lol activations at your opponent's end step, imagine in an multiplayer game where you can activate mayael multiple times per opponent's turn.
Hellkite Tyrant, stealer of sol rings! And the sol rings that u stole are permanently yours unless its is destroyed thus returning to the owner's graveyard. =)
Privileged Position if you need protection for your permanents, including land, creatures, artifacts, creatures and other enchantments you control. How cheat is this?
Depends on how competitive you are, Survival of the Fittest for creature tutoring for G or reshuffling your gy back into your library with a eldrazi.
Thats all the recommendations i can recommend to change your decklist, had played Mayael for a year before changing to something else and playing her is pretty fun =D

1. Bosh can sac himself, you realize. Double value.
2. Purph is being used for the ETB trigger. It may function BETTER with tokens, but it still functions quite well here.
3. Lurking Predators eludes me at this point, but will make a note.
4. Don't know why those aren't in there...I'll see if I can scrounge up a couple more.
5. Not able to get a Seedborn Muse at this point in time, in large part thanks to its price. Again, will keep an eye out.
6. Nice 'I win' package, but not something that screams out at me just yet. I will pick up some copies, but doubt they'll be in my deck right away.
7. Mirari's Wake is not one that can be easily acquired...again, local rarity and price.
8. A thought to keep in mind.
9. Please check my decklist.
10. Cheat it may be, cheap it is not.
11. See above.
12. Signets and the like usually help in that regard...by the time Mayael starts getting killed, I can regularly hard cast.
13. Now THAT I will definitely put in ASAP.
You have obviously played this commander for a while...appreciate the advice.
Rites of Flourishing in for Bosh, Iron Golem. While I maintain that Bosh was useful in this deck, even if he was saccing himself, extra card draw and ramp is more useful, particularly if I'm forced to hard cast.
Cloudthresher in for Purph. Reach, ETB effect, and a cheap evoke if need be...seems legit.
Thicket Elemental in for Rampaging Baloths. Getting a twofer seems like a deal. Sure, he can't be cheated out by Mayael, but that's a benefit IMO, so you don't miss out on the kicker.
Darksteel Colossus out for Vizier of the Menagerie. While the Vizier can't be tutored by Mayael, he provides a slight dip in the mana curve for a creature to hard-cast, plus he can help me with deciding whether to activate Mayael's ability, or Impromptu Raid instead. Plus, mana fixing...duh, right?
Protean Hulk is replacing Magmatic Force - MagForce was powerful no doubt, but I think it's time for him to take a break. I think ProHulk is going to be a nice replacement.
Part of Kylar's suggestion comes to fruit here. It was tough to decide who had to go, but in the end, Smelter lost out. Look forward to seeing how many times the new Eldrazi saves me...:3

Karametra's Acolyte, Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx: Devotion can net you a lot of mana in a high-curve deck like this. Take some land untappers like Voyaging Satyr.
Avacyn's Pilgrim, Llanowar Elves, Sylvan Caryatid, Elvish Mystic and the like are easy mana.
Gift of Estates is probably good, but I don't really have it so I can't say.
Sword of the Animist for land fetch.
I usually use the full cycles of Cluestones (Boros Cluestone, as well as Selesnya and Gruul). Once you have enough lands and don't need the rocks, you can sac them to draw a card. Gilded Lotus works well in a ramp-heavy deck.

Avacyn's Pilgrim, Llanowar Elves, Sylvan Caryatid, Elvish Mystic: Given how easily creatures can be wiped, I've never been a HUGE fan of 1 mana dorks. If I had room to really make them bloom(say, using elves along with Elvish Archdruid, for example), I might be more keen. If nothing else though, I do have plenty of Birds of Paradise.
Gift of Estates: During one of my tweaks to this deck, I thought about putting it in. However, even with Canopy Vista and Sacred Foundry in my deck, that's only six Plains. Not entirely sure that would be worth having in there.

Purphoros, God of the Forge can be cutted as your not really running a token based strategy which this card is really good at.
You should definitely add Lurking Predators, even if someone destroys it, you still get the trigger, how cheaty is that? =P
Your still missing out the essential protection package for Mayael, Lightning Greaves and swiftfoot boots.
Seedborn Muse for the extra lol activations at your opponent's end step, imagine in an multiplayer game where you can activate mayael multiple times per opponent's turn.
Your missing the I win package that Tooth and Nail guarantees namely Avacyn, Angel of Hope + Archetype of Endurance, basically GG nothing can kill your creatures other than a Merciless Eviction.
Your missing Mirari's Wake, mana doubler =D
Hellkite Tyrant, stealer of sol rings! And the sol rings that u stole are permanently yours unless its is destroyed thus returning to the owner's graveyard. =)
Kessig Wolf Run for those annoying blockers.
Privileged Position if you need protection for your permanents, including land, creatures, artifacts, creatures and other enchantments you control. How cheat is this?
Depends on how competitive you are, Survival of the Fittest for creature tutoring for G or reshuffling your gy back into your library with a eldrazi.
Need more ramp, Nature's Lore, Cultivate, Kodama's Reach, Skyshroud Claim, Three Visits, etc for those moments when Mayael keeps getting killed thus its way better just to hard cast your creatures.
Void Winnower you can't even. =)
Thats all the recommendations i can recommend to change your decklist, had played Mayael for a year before changing to something else and playing her is pretty fun =D

Swiftfoot Boots in for Caller of Beer. In that same vein...
Lightning Greaves in for Selesnya Signet. Haste enablers are a must...
Temple of Plenty for Slayers' Stronghold. I could end up regretting this, but I think I have enough haste enablers for the moment.

Part of Kylar's suggestion comes to fruit here. It was tough to decide who had to go, but in the end, Smelter lost out. Look forward to seeing how many times the new Eldrazi saves me...:3
