Heh, just as I properly acknowledge that the inclusion of Cabal Coffers has been a slam dunk for the deck and the list thrives on bonkers amounts of mana, you back out of using any of the fat lands.
From experience, an Exquisite Blood is a "kill me" sign, regardless of Sanguine Bond. Any dent to others is lifegain for you, so the natural thing to do is just take you out to make the game progress at a more sensible pace. You don't have True Conviction, I'd just run that instead.
Vampiric Rites barely counted as a draw engine, it did pretty much nothing. In its place is White's answer to Arena: Endless Horizons. I don't think it'll be that good, but it'll thin my deck. I won't be going full Mana Severance; 4-5 Plains is probably more than enough.
Don't be surprised if somebody removes it anyway with that many lands under it.
The fact that the Sanguine Bond & Exquisite Blood combo was in the deck made people swing at me really hard. As I need more ways to gain life, Blood stays in while Bond leaves. In its place Revel in Riches returns now that I have a Smothering Tithe.
People might still think you've got the other half somewhere if you play Blood. There's a potential prejudice there regardless of telling them Bond isn't anywhere in the deck. A lifelink effect like Whip of Erebos or Teysa Karlov might be less of a perceived threat than Blood in such cases.
If someone kills the Horizons, at the very least I can tell myself that my deck is thinned. You're probably right about Blood.

I'm trying to make this a Casual deck and I realized Coffers pummels the crap out of regular Casual players. This also means I'm making the deck leaner and meaner. Since this Daxos is supposed to Derp around, at least in the 2nd version, I'm going to have to agree with your assessment of Blood.
True Conviction goes in as per Rumpy and lyonheart's advice regarding Exquisite Blood. I figure another deck can use Blood anyway.
I'm testing to see if Zoetic Cavern is worth it. It's a 5 mana Ramp spell that can also carry a Sword of the Animist. This is also kind of a meme within my meta now, maybe there's something there?
Daxos is still getting targeted pretty hard, which is damned annoying since all I've done since its inception is continually pull his teeth out. His reputation and actions previously still stain the deck's reputation. I don't want to play a full Stax beast, so I am concerned that I'll take him apart a third time. Also, after playing with friend's Kestia, the Cultivator and Tuvasa the Sunlit decks, I didn't realize how much extra hoops W/B has to jump through. Ramp, Counterspells and cards that draw, synergizing with yourself? Why can't we be so lucky? I hope the next Commander, visit to Theros, Modern Horizons or whatnot gives us some goodies. Hell, I'll take "Whenever you cast an Enchantment, lose 1 life and draw a card" at this point.

Lose for a while, maybe. I've had to play a meta-game of changing reputation before. It usually takes longer to do that when winning a fair proportion of the games than it does if you just suck for a while and lose until they stop focusing Daxos. Still requires patience, but it could still be possible to avoid disassembling it.
Also, just noticed the Ruric Thar link in your sig. Did you know "Ruric Thar" isn't first-name and last-name? Both of their heads have distinct identities while sharing a body. One is Ruric, and the other is Thar.

After being on the receiving end of Ethereal Absolution, I decided I needed to get me some of that. Daxos likes to keep mana open to respond, so this gives me a way to hate out Graveyeards and make 1/1 Fliers who will protect my face or just be generic fodder. First Response felt like it was the most similar, so it got the axe.
I wanted a bit more life gain, so again, I went to axe a wincon in the form of Glistening Oil. Polluted Bonds is what I think to be lowkey enough that hopefully people won't mind the Shock and see how my life total is slowly ticking upwards.
I dislike colourless, so Temple had to go. In its place is Emeria, who should help with Daxos' many deaths and help me dodge tax. After looking at my colours, I think I am a little too black heavy, so I swapped a Swamp for a Plains. This also helps turn Emeria on.
My deck would lose when I would get a lot of Enchantments out and then someone would Wrath them away. Cloudstone Curio and Remove Enchantments should help with this. I would frequently got pecked to death, so I am throwing up some major "Do Not Attack Me" with Teysa, Michiko, Dread and Aurification. Other ways I would die is I would try to Wrath, one of the players would use a Heroic Intervention variant and out of all of the vulnerable decks I would frequently be the one who would be Alpha Strike'd off of the table. I'm putting in Angel of the Dire Hour, Comeuppance and Settle the Wreckage as a way to severely punish anyone who tries that. Martyr's Bond is just another way to make people think twice before swinging into me. I am hoping this carapace of spicy defence will let the deck sit there in peace and accumulate Experience.
I cut what I felt like I could do without the most. Not sure if it is right or wrong, but putting in this Nuclear Package is costly.
I am not a fan of Ghostly Prison because the only defence is easily overcome if someone pays to attack you, which they will do if it is profitable. Sphere of Safety might be worth it, but that's just pushing my mana curve even more upwards. Mystic Barrier is an interesting solution I hadn't thought of before, I'll think about tracking it down.
With my mana curve trending upwards, I realized I might need to put in more Ramp. I like going Lands only because they don't get randomly destroyed by all sorts of effects like Rock Ramp does. Perhaps I should put Burnished Hart back into the deck.
You could also reintroduce the big mana lands, those tend to work well
Interesting call to go No Mercy tribal, I've found that particular effect most potently keeps people off my back until they can alpha me out. Which often turns out to be never, as Daxos tends to swarm up a bit and it becomes harder to get through for enough. I'm also liking the Path of God et al. angle, it introduces an element of uncertainty as long as you've got stuff in hand and may deter people from chunking you. Aurification is quite blech though, as it doesn't actually slurp the swingers. It goes away, all its work is undone. I got rid of mine quite quickly.
I think you're undervaluing Ghostly Prison variants a bit. It might be meta dependent, but regardless of playgroup these styles of effects keep swarm off you effectively. Seeing how you're complaining about curve, Mystic Barrier is a mediocre idea as its quite swingy in terms of returns while requiring a five mana commitment.
The Michiko Konda and Remove Enchantments seem interesting, do report back how they fare. The latter in particular seems like it might actually be worth a slot. Another class of effects you could explore would be Auramancer variants for recursion.
