"Wherever I set my pack and rest my head, I am home."
Deck History
This deck started as a concept piece. I was discussing with a friend how I had virtually locked him out the night before in a 1v1 game landing an early Strip Mine and Crucible of Worlds. I often ask myself "How can I make this more broken?" How hilarious would it be if I could do that five times a turn, by having Azusa, Lost but Seeking, Exploration, and Oracle of Mul Daya? A silly concept, but it was the spark I needed to go home and put together a new deck. I added Sensei's Divining Top and Sylvan Library to control the top deck, fetch lands to synergize with Crucible and Top, and Life From teh Loam to get lands back to do it again! I quickly was able to assemble a deck around this core.
Game Plan
The deck may have been conceived with humorous ill intent in mind, but land destruction is typically reserved for the Cradles and Coffers of the world. This deck is all about DRAW! OK, its about ramping too. I don't run any of the typical sorcery-based ramp solutions, but rather rely on Azusa to dump my hand of lands and some mana dorks to get me to big mana land. Since I'm playing my cards faster, I need extra cards, so I've focused the deck around this aspect. Draw when you play creatures. Draw when you play lands. Draw when the other dudes draw. The goal is to speed through your deck to get to big mana and big dudes, highlighted by Mr. Craterhoof Behemoth and his best friend, Avenger of Zendikar. Along the way, feel free to have other friends stop by, such as Kozilek, Butcher of Truth and Blightsteel Colossus. Alternatively, invite the whole gang with a big, fat Genesis Wave (insert evil laugh here).
Why Azusa?
Because she's awesome. And you know it.
You like exploding out of the gates and playing big spells early
You like taking long turns when your draw synergy pieces come together and the cards keep coming
Killing the table with an army of beast-enabled mana dorks feels good
I hate all of that, so I'm not playing Azusa because...
Your a control player and want to grind it out
Fast kills and fast games give you motion sickness
You don't like scaring people with your explosive board state
Lotus Cobra - Provides great acceleration, especially if you land it turn two and can dump lands when Azusa hits board.
Priest of Titania - A mana dork with potential to tap for size. I don't run a lot of elves, but it counts for opponents elves too.
Scavenging Ooze - The only graveyard hate I run. You should run more if your meta has a GY threat, but I don't run into GY shenanigns enough to run more. Can be tutored with Green Sun's Zenith and Worldy Tutor.
Tajuru Preserver - Edict effects are rampant on MODO (thank you Meren). If you can't run Sigarda, run the next best thing.
Somberwald Sage - Mana dork that taps for 3. I want to play creatures, I use it for creatures, sounds like a win all around.
Course of Kruphix - The life gain is incidental, but the ability to play the top card of your deck if it is a land is pure card advantage. It synergizes with Top and Library, feels good.
Kamahl, Fist of Krosa - He is Overrun on a stick and can be a wincon with enough mana and creatures on board. He has the added benefit of being a board wipe rattlesnake, because you bet I'm going to be blowing up the caster's lands if I have open mana.
Primordial Sage - A great piece of the draw engine. I want to cast creatures and replacing them in my hand is great value.
Soul of the Harvest - See Primordial Sage. Having both on board is great if you ask me.
Avenger of Zendikar - Quite often a wincon and one of my Tooth and Nail targets along with Craterhoof even if I can't grant haste to the tokens.
Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger - A big fatty that is a huge tempo swing if it is not instantly removed. Unfortunately, he will draw the hate pretty quickly.
Craterhoof Behemoth - Primary wincon. Do not cast until it is the killing turn.
Void Winnower - I just love this guy. It hoses so many decks despite completely folding to Path to Exile.
Kozilek, Butcher of Truth - He's a Titan. Big fatty, annihilator, draw four cards, prevents death to mill, check please!
Mana Crypt - Play 'em if you got 'em. I don't care about the three life and the ramp is just broken. Enables a turn one Azusa.
Expedition Map - Tutor for Cradle or Nykthos, but really works for whatever.
Sensei's Divining Top - Top deck manipulation, with all the synergy with Oracle, Courser, and Fetches.
Howling Mine - I want to draw cards badly and this is another early game card draw option. I can take advantage of extra lands drawn where my opponents cannot.
Crucible of Worlds - I just love this card. It gets back my Fetches and Strip Mine. My Strip Mine. Hehehehe.
Horn of Greed - You are playing more lands, you will draw more cards. This is such a great enabler to get you through your deck.
Mind's Eye - Another great card draw piece. If you can leave mana open, you will accrue value.
Akroma's Memorial - A great haste enabler which also lets all of your creatures get quite dangerous without the fear of crack-backs thanks to vigilance.
Crop Rotation - Usually used for Cradle or Nykthos, but can find an emergency Maze of Ith in a pinch.
Worldy Tutor - One of the best tutors in green. It will find your Craterhoof in your time of need. If you have either Top or a draw synergy, you can the card into your hand.
Beast Within - My favorite removal in green because it can hit anything, and they get a cute little beast to boot!
Chord of Calling - To the battlefield tutor, great for calling up your wincons.
Sorcery
Life from the Loam - Great land recursion. I'm running a number of creature recursion pieces if something good gets dredged.
Rude Awakening - You could surprise someone after a board wipe, but I've used this to the most effect to awaken the lands and then tap Cradle and/or make a MASSIVE Craterhoof.
Green Sun's Zenith - I just love the Dryad Arbor interaction, plus it is a great tutor. When you a going on a serious draw binge, you might even get it back again if you play it early game.
Genesis Wave - The most fun card I've ever played. If you hit Eternal Witness and a bunch of lands, it really feels like you need to cast it again, don't you agree? Wincon.
Enchantment
Concordant Crossroads - Drop this on your killing turn. The best haste enabler for green.
Exploration - One of my favorite cards. Play an extra land each turn.
Earthcraft - Super broken ramp. A combo piece that demands to be removed.
Sylvan Library - Another all time great for green. It provides draw, card selection, and combos with Abundance.
Abundance - Extremely powerful card selection engine that allows you to select lands or non-lands when you draw. It combos with Sylvan Library and also with Recycle, and is at the center of some of the biggest plays in the deck.
Greater Good - Such a good card. It is always good to have a sac outlet and the draw is real.
Recycle - A landslide card draw piece. It is risky since you skip your draw step, but it can fuel the marathon turn and it combos with Abundance. Check out that art!
Zendikar Resurgent - It does the same as Soul of the Harvest or Primordial Sage, which I'm always in favor of, with the upside of more mana.
Land
Ancient Tomb - Taps for two immediately and I usually don't care about the two life.
Boseiju, Who Shelters All - Allows you to cast Genesis Wave or Tooth and Nail without pesky counter magic in the way.
Cavern of Souls - I usually name beast, which is a little of a give away. Then again, I'm probably not surprising anyone.
Deserted Temple - Allows you to re-tap Cradle or Nykthos. Hells yeah!
Gaea's Cradle - My favourite land ever, worth the investment.
Wirewood Lodge - It can untap Priest of Titania every now and then for value if there are a lot of elves on board. Otherwise, it goes infinite with Argothian Elder and Gaea's Cradle
I found out real quickly that this deck is EXPLOSIVE. A turn 1 Sol Ring or Mana Crypt can completely warp the game, allowing me to dump my hand with Azusa. It became quite apparent that I needed more card draw. Where this really gets going is with Primordial Sage, Soul of the Harvest, and Zendikar Resurgent. I am pumping out a lot of creatures, and this allows me to rifle through my deck pretty quickly. Horn of Greed is also an all star addition, since I'm playing more lands than anyone.
Combos: Recyle + Abundance: THIS. With Abundance I can guarantee my land drops first. For each card played, I get another one. Once I've maxed my land drops for the turn, I can then start selecting non-lands, speeding through my deck. There is danger with this combo, because if someone discards your hand, you no longer have a draw step. Luckily it hasn't happened to me yet.
Abundance + Sylvan Library: You get to keep all 3 cards from your draw step without paying life. Welcome to broken city.
Wirewood Lodge + Argothian Elder + Gaea's Cradle: Infinite mana. This will also work for Nykthos if you can generate a lot of green mana with it. You first tap Cradle (note, at least 2 creatures must be in play for this to work). Then you tap Argothian Elder to untap Wirewood Lodge and Cradle. You use Wirewood Lodge to untap Argothian Elder with one of the green that is floating, re-tap Cradle, rinse, repeat.
I'm happy for all suggestions. I play this deck on MTGO, so the meta is extremely mixed. Here are some current ideas:
I edited the OP a bit more, adding a Change Log. Mostly replacing lands I never want to draw, upgrading to Greenwarden, and swapping mana dorks. Ant Queen feels fairly dead so I replaced with Acidic Slime since I'm so light on removal.
I'm going to try and invest some more time into the post and build out interactions. The draw synergies are my favourite part of the deck and I'd like to describe those a bit. I'm trying to find some other draw engines that are 3-4 mana or less to help get things going early. Horn of Greed has been so good.
Why dont you run things like caged sun? Or gauntlet of power? Those with a Doubling Cube are very good and push you so far ahead very early in the game.
I see a lot of green decks so I may stray away from Gauntlet of Power. Caged Sun is definitely a consideration. I'm running Mana Reflection right now at the 6 drop slot which acts as a full doubler for green sources and my other sources. The +1/+1 is a nice addition though. Doubling Cube is definitely a strong consideration. I have it in Kruphix and I think it could do some work here too.
I dont know if u have ever considerd it but another really good card when u have a lot of mana is wolfbriar elemental. Iv seen a mono green deck make easly over 30 tokens with him.
I haven't looked into that one yet. You could make quite an army with some big mana. I would be concerned with haste, because if I have 30 mana, I want to be winning that turn or risk the board wipe. I can't flash it in on the end step with Chord of Calling like I can with Avenger of Zendikar. However, it's always good to have some mana sink options.

+Howling Mine

-Squirrel Nest
I wanted to have more options for card draw in my opening hand, since I need to refill once I dump it with Azusa. I debated on Howling Mine vs. Temple Bell, since I do not get an extra card with Howling Mine upon play, but I will see how it goes. I didn't like the Squirrel Nest combo so it got the axe. Garruk is always a good card in green, but I needed a slot. I could see him making a return, since he is one of my favourite PWs.
I don't think EMN brought a considerable amount for his particular deck, but I have things I may try:
New'mrakul could be fun, because I could easily hard cast it for full price. It would replace Blightsteel as a dumb beater just so I could play with the new toy.
Eldritch Evolution looks like it needs to be in here. It begs the question on why I'm not playing Natural Order too. However, most of my non-green target have cast triggers, so who knows. I will be adding to plenty of decks, so it is getting a try here.
Geier Reach Sanitarium - I can draw cards, I like doing that. If I'm stacking my top deck with Top or Library, that could be useful.
Decimator of the Provinces - I'm already running Craterhoof, so I'm not sure where I could slot this.
Splendid Reclamation - Love the card, but not for this deck. I do run off-color fetches, but it is a total corner case. I would rather just get a blown up Gaea's Cradle back with Eternal Witness or the like.
