Havn't updated the list in almost two years, but I have played a fair bit with it though. The most remarkable change have been the switch from Kamahl, Fist of Krosa as my commander to Nissa, Vastwood Seer. I really liked Kamahl. He was a wincon in the cz and hosed board wipes. But since this is a control deck, the card advantage that Nissa offered was too good to pass. Naturally the deck have changed alot since Kamahl was commander, but generally the changes have brought a more focused deck together.
Mono G control with Kamahl, Fist of Krosa as commander. I have now played a good deal of games with this deck, and I really like how it plays. Pretty different from what you would expect from a mono green deck.
The gameplan is pretty straight forward. Ramp and start building your pillowfort, until you got enough mana to make some crazy blowouts - mainly with Rude Awakening or Squall Line.
Wants and Considerings: Tajuru Preserver - I'm not sure about this one, but it's defensive and that's what I'm after in this deck. Tireless Tracker - In for sure, but don't like his current pricetag. Nacatl War-Pride - In for sure, when I get a copy. Creeping Corrosion - In for sure, when I get a copy. Reap and Sow - Any land tutor seems nice, it's just pretty expensive to cast... Burgeoning - Insane card, but I'm not sure if I should play it. Plays nice with Arboria though.
The main strategy is to do as little as possible, until you win out of nowhere with stuff like Squall Line or Rude Awakening. Turn after turn, just ramping, putting lands on the battlefield and set up some protective enchantments will be a good play. While this decks has a pretty decent draw-power being in mono green, Arboria can actually work as a supplier of cards. If the boardstate is flooding with creatures, just draw a card and pass the turn. Wait for the game-winning hand or let others do something about the mess. It's pretty political as well, since it effects all players. Freyalise, Llanowar's Fury is good aswell... hmm, so thats another option for me.
Hmm, have you ever considered running lifeforce? It's hilarious in that it's a true mono-green counterspell effect, while simultaneously being quite strong in most metas.

I havn't actually considered it, but maybe I should. It is pretty fun, and would shut B totally out of the game:) Have to see, if my meta has enough black to justify it.
Finally got some more flight under this decks wings, and I'm surprised how well it plays. With all the ramp, winning with Natural Affinity or Rude Awakening is surprisingly easy. Kamahl, Fist of Krosa can even make the beatdown on his own. I havn't won off of either of the two burn spells, but I take it they are better in long multiplayer games.
Autumn's Veil saved me a couple of times and Reap can be sick, but I'd just wish Green had some color-hacks.
Nope, wanted something that changed colors of spells. Something like Lifelace that could do all colors.
I do actually have Nature's Wrath, but it would just be another card against black and blue, and i actually don't like playing "hate"-cards, that locks certain players out of the game.
You already have so much flying hate, how about adding Predator, Flagship? It's passable creature removal for mono G on its own, and could do a lot of work to make Hurricaneet al relevant.

You would never guess, at the terrifying sight of the man, that Hunding was as charming a companion as one could wish for.
Oh, I do love Predator, Flagship for flavor reasons, but every time I've played with it, it always just feels so clunky. But this actually might be a deck, that could make the most of it. Hurricane, Squall Line and Ifh-Biff Efreet would be able to target more creatures, but the main reason for them is to hit players. Spike Weaver and his tools don't care whether creatures have flying or not.
If the commander isn't set in stone I would strongly suggest Freyalise, Llanowar's Fury. Her -2 is a huge pain in the ass for a lot of players and will really help pacify a Voltron player. Her ultimate isn't difficult to pull off and gives much needed card advantage in green.

I'll admit, that Freyalise, Llanowar's Fury would be a good option, but I think with what I want to do in this deck, Kamahl, Fist of Krosa fits the bill better. He's a wincon on his own, being able to pump up an army of animated lands, and has the added benefit to protect against wraths. Carddraw isn't that big of a problem here, because of all the stall/fog-effects.
With that many big-mana and Hurricane effects, I'm going to strongly recommend Crop Rotationand Glacial Chasm as a simple way to turn a tie into a win.
Also, with Kamahl as your commander and enough green mana, Powder Keg is your nuclear option to nuke everyone else's lands at instant speed.
Played a couple of 1v1's this weekend and Powder Keg, that's just mean. After a lot of ramp, I drew the keg. Other player was tapped out, I play Kamahl and the Keg, still having 6 mana open to animate all of his lands, so he only sat on a Sol Ring and a signet... he folded quickly after that.
Have been giving Nacatl War-Pride some consideration. It seems to go really nicely with Kamahl's ability to animate lands. If I were to add the cats, flash effects would be a great addition, so maybe i should find room for Yeva, Nature's Herald after all. Winding Canyons would definitely go in.
Any suggestions to what I should cut? Caller of the Claw is there as a precaution if my animated lands would somehow get blown up, but I havn't needed him yet, and I tend to tap out anyway and go all in.
Seer's sundial and maybe far wanderings would be my first suggestions. Seer's sundial is good if you're waiting back, but as you stated, you're going all in. Far wanderings is really good late game with threshold, but I don't see you having threshold much before that and it's a really bad topdeck then. If you want two basics in the 4 mana department, then explosive vegetation, ranger's path, or hunting wilds all seem better. I might reconsider far wanderings if you had some crazy landfall stuff, but you really don't. I also see genesis wave being bad here. You have 31 instants and sorceries in the deck, meaning if you cast it, you're going to whiff pretty hard, and I believe a lot of those cards are better in your hand or deck rather than graveyard, despite your recursion spells.
On that thought, 31 instants and sorceries? Why aren't you running Mirari? It doesn't make sense in a red or blue deck, but in a green or black deck who have nutty ways to go big on mana, it can get out of hand in a hurry. Even a land ramp spell is crazy card advantage if it happens twice.
Infernal bloom is your only mana doubler, but you have a lot of X spells in the deck. You could cut down on them, or run seedborne muse or patron of the orochi to break some symmetry. They're also completely bonkers with a tornado on the battlefield and I don't want to even think about patron+kamahl on the battlefield when someone wants to go nuts with a board wipe.
If you're going to blank artifacts and you like running old school enchantments, then why not maybe titania's song? It has the one advantage of over the two one time use board wipes you're running in that it stops some bs cold until they deal with the enchantment. Sharuum's artifacts/ lands, karn, silver golem, darksteel forge + nev disk all see a lot of play in my group and all of them can recover pretty easily from a board wipe, but not a blanket effect.
I'll just go ahead and say that if you're going to play yeva, you need a lot more creature density to make it worth it. This deck has almost none by comparison to my MGC deck (yeva happens to be my general and I do run nacatl war pride, as it happens). If you do want a wrath effect worthy of green, why not do so? Ezuri's predation came out and it's rather nasty for such a deck. You wipe out the utility creatures in a hurry and have enough 4/4s left over to swarm the beatsticks later because of your general. You could also use some aforementioned synergies I already suggested, and then animate lands on their end step with kamahl, untap, cast predation, and you're the most hated person at the table....

At first I wasn't sure about Seer's Sundial but after playing with it, I've completely changed my mind. It's amazing. With all the ramp spells, I not unlikely to draw two or three extra cards a turn. That fact that it's also a bit mana-intensive, tend to let it live longer in multiplayer games. It doesn't seem that threatening. On Far Wanderings, that card has become a pet card for me. Ramping three lands for 2G is insane. Sometimes I will have to play it without threshold, but as you stated, this deck runs a lot of instants/sorceries so it actually havn't accured that offent. Which brings us to Genesis Wave where I think you are totally right. Card will go out.

Not sold on Mirari but will definitely give it some thought and try it out.

Still think I need to test Yeva, Nature's Herald, she just opens up for some crazy plays in my imagination magic-wonderland. Ezuri's Predation seems really really good. But I'm not sure I want my deck to wrath, I'm a pacifist
You're welcome to test Yeva in your deck, but you don't have the creature density to reliably make use of her ability, unfortunately. You don't have any etb effects (only one I see is nissa, actually). When she's your general and combined with the right draw engines + mana ramp, blue almost can't do anything to you. I very routinely ruin counter decks days because in response I throw a tree at it (like an ooze at their land/non creature or a rather large pile of blockers in front of whatever they are trying to attack with).
Game report:
4-player pod consists of Child of Alara (weird fling combo with Lord of Extinction), Melek, Izzet Paragon (wheeling to mill), Edgar Markov and me.
I start turn 1 with Forest into Burgeoning, with 3 more lands in hand, one of which I cycle only to draw into High Market. Playing Nissa turn 2 and land for turn. By turn 4 I have roughly around 8-10 lands into play while Child sits at 4 (due to Melek playing Windfall which gained me a new hand). From here the game pretty much stalls, though all except Child keeps putting stuff into play. Edgar have plenty of vamps in play and a Tauean Mauler that just keeps getting bigger. He passes the swings around, but mostly at Child since I keep convincing him that it won't matter to attack me, because I have Vedalken Orerry down and stuff in my hand. Melek don't have that much going on, but you never know with blue. Then Child attacks me with Sun Titan and I flash in Realm Seekers to block it. Melek grins, and he proceed to cast a kicked Rite of Replicate which he Forks getting 10 15/15's all at EoT since he also got a Vedalken Orerry. I don't care, because I actually do have something in my hand. Child gets killed by Edgar which now also have Blood Artist and Athreos, God of Passage. Melek believes he has to do something about it, so he casts Chain Reaction with 25 creatures on board. Can't remember how, but Edgar ended up gaining 79 lives from that play and pretty much all his creatures back in hand. I'm down at 20-ish, Melek the same. Some back and forth happens, which doesn't really matter much. At this point I have so much land in play (well over 20), but not a lot to do with it. My yard is filled to the brim but not really anything I can use. So when I finally draw into the biggest it's mostly just value (well, a lot of it). On Meleks turn he asks me how many cards I have left in my library. I 30 count, which is just how many he has in his graveyard and now I see Psychic Spiral on top of his library (since Melek is in play). He grins again, but as I desperately look at my hand for aswers I see Unravel the Aether which I use on my Burgeoing (still in play from turn 1 :gaping:). So at my turn I draw the one card left in my library, and begins to tinker for an out. And then I see it. The only recursion I have in my hand is Nissa, Vital Force, which I play, tic her down, bringing Eternal Witness to hand, play it and returns Primal Command. I use Green Sun's Zenith to tutor for Seedborn Muse, and it only takes two upkeeps to kill off Melek with Squallmonger and Edgar dies horrible afterwards since my Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx now make 26G which I can untap with Nissa, Vital Force (and yes, I have Glacial Chasm in play).
Gawd I love this deck
At one turn I drew into both Creeping Corrosion and Calming Verse, and it got me thinking that I can't remember when I've been glad to see either of them. So I want to try something out instead of them. I like removal, but targeted might be enough, therefore Reclamation Sage enters, and to support it Temur Sabertooth. The cat is properly one of the best green creatures and I honestly can't believe I havn't thought of playing it here before. It just protects creatures so well and lets me reuse Eternal Witness and gives Spike Weaver new counters.
Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx was something I just added. I thought of this deck as more of a spellsplinger type of deck, but the devotion adds up real quick. So that land is in for sure. Also tried out Reliquary Tower and Ash Barrens but I'm going to cut both of them and put back basics in their place.
One more minor change. Can't remember when I've actually use Realm Seekers to fetch a land, and then it's just a big dumb vanilla, so going to change it for Lifegift since my lifetotal can be problematic and I don't have anything else then Sapseep Forest (which is more cute then good) and Primal Command that can gain me life. Lifegift is a card I've played before and can really net huge amounts of life, but can also put a target on your head, so not sure it's going to last - time will tell.
Lifegift's not showing up in the OP, is that because it's a test change? That's a good idea though - you're pretty much Hurricane tribal over here, so having some sturdy life protection in the 99 could keep you afloat. Platinum Emperion puts on a decent Elderscale Wurm impersonation. Can't come up with any particularly worthwhile lifegain though, maybe Essence Warden?

Just forgot to edit OP to be honest. Done now
Platinum Emperion could be a great option if I should ever want more of those effects. Elderscale Wurm is pretty much a Glacial Chasm back-up in cases where this gets exiled. Essence Warden wouldn't be my kinda thing here. I put way more lands into play then creatures, and the creature-type is just way more vulnerable.
New spice for the deck in form of Nissa's Triumph. It will likely replace Sylvan Scrying. Don't really see anything else for the deck.
But the suggestion from Rumpy got me thinking. Platinum Emperion might actually be better then Elderscale Wurm, since I won't die from various loss of life effects, that isn't too uncommon. Something that Glacial Chasm doesn't protect me from either.
Ley Weaver is perfect for your deck. It’s a solid piece of ramp that untaps any 2 lands so it can make for a big nykthos turn and it also enables an infinite combo with cards that are already on your deck (maze of ith+ squall monger or squall line) also another card that I love in nissa is tendershoot dryad. Starts generating immediate value and eventually makes a huge wall of saprolings that no one wants to attack into. Also the new land from WAR that you can sacrifice to cast things at instant speed is something I’ll be trying in my nissa control deck. Hope this helps.

Oh yeah. Those two should definitely go in.
I actually am running Titania's Song, you must have missed that
Still think I need to test Yeva, Nature's Herald, she just opens up for some crazy plays in my imagination magic-wonderland. Ezuri's Predation seems really really good. But I'm not sure I want my deck to wrath, I'm a pacifist

Can't remember all the changes, but added more nonbasics that I could see work well with other things in my deck. Drownyard Temple with Constant Mists is going to be fun. Oran-Rief, the Vastwood mostly to give Spike Weaver another counter, but can work well with others. Glacial Chasm, as the ultimate fog. Winding Canyons to get past Arboria or sometimes counterspells.
Also added Bow of Nylea which is a really nice toolbox for G.
1 Creeping Corrosion
1 Calming Verse
1 Ash Barrens
1 Reliquary Tower
1 Reclamation Sage
1 Temur Sabertooth
2 Forest
1 Realm Seekers
1 Lifegift
Just forgot to edit OP to be honest. Done now
Platinum Emperion could be a great option if I should ever want more of those effects. Elderscale Wurm is pretty much a Glacial Chasm back-up in cases where this gets exiled. Essence Warden wouldn't be my kinda thing here. I put way more lands into play then creatures, and the creature-type is just way more vulnerable.
But the suggestion from Rumpy got me thinking. Platinum Emperion might actually be better then Elderscale Wurm, since I won't die from various loss of life effects, that isn't too uncommon. Something that Glacial Chasm doesn't protect me from either.
