Quote from Piemasterzero »Love this deck, have been using an altered version of if. What would you recommend to add for double strike options and other equipment options/ swords (Pro element ones) to be added and to swap out the land destruction?
Deafening Silence - This Rule of Law variant hurts us more than it helps us. I'd rather run Rule of Law, and I wouldn't run Rule of Law in an optimized build.
Glass Casket - While interesting, the limitation hurts this card significantly, especially in this format. Pass.
Hushbringer - Sad but true that this card is not worth it for the deck. I might run it in a more focused static control deck, though.
Folio of Fancies - Run Jace Beleren instead. This isn't a group-hug deck.
Gadwick, the Wizened - Too high a mana cost, for a creature that isn't searchable and an effect we don't need. Mono-blue Wizards, eat your heart out.
Into the Story - Honestly, if this had a base cost of 6 I would consider it. At 7, it's laughably unlikely without the cost reduction being much higher.
Midnight Clock - SO MUCH WORK! At 1U, I'd consider it. As is, no.
Mirrormade - Copy Artifact usually serves our purposes better given the lower mana cost, even if it can't hit enchantments.
Mystical Dispute - This isn't good at 3 and this isn't great at 1... Next.
Stolen by the Fae - While I love the design of this card, I think that in the end it's so limited by its scaling nature. X spells that you want to pay more than 5 mana total for are meh for this deck.
Dance of the Manse - In a different specific build, this card is insane. In my build, less so.
Castle Ardenvale - I like it, but the effect is not strong enough for what I want. Meh.
Castle Vantress - Same as Castle Ardenvale.
Idyllic Grange - Maybe? It's very limited though.
Mystic Sanctuary - I like this card a lot, but I'm worried that it's going to sit there collecting dust most games. Not the worst effect though.
Arcane Signet - I sat there thinking about this card for a long time. Despite the early game combo plays with Sol Ring, I think this card isn't worth it for this deck.
Tome of Legends - Not enough movement from Geist to make this card worth it.
Quote from Piemasterzero »Thank you so much for the recommendations. Sorry, I forgot to mention the reason why I wanted to remove the land destruction is due to playgroup.
Sevinne's Reclamation - This card is a gimmick that isn't really worth it. Kinda fun, though.
Kadena's Silencer - 5 mana mass stifle is 3 mana too much.
Sanctum of Eternity - SHENANIGANS! If only the land tapped for something other than colorless...
Ashiok's Erasure - If it cost 3 mana, maybe.
Nadir Kraken - I really wanted to like this card. It just doesn't do enough.
Naiad of Hidden Coves - Interesting, but not very effective.
Stinging Lionfish - Same idea as Naiad of Hidden Coves.
Thassa's Intervention - I wish there was an entwine mode, and I wish the whole thing didn't cost 5 mana to be useful.
Wavebreak Hippocamp - Now that's what I'm talking about. I wish, I wish upon a fish? It's not great, so it might not make the cut in the long run, but it's the only card here that I might consider testing.
Whirlwind Denial - I think the designers of this card are in denial about how ineffective it will be most of the time, but I'd almost consider testing it if I didn't know better.
Nyx Lotus - The first noncreature card with Lotus in its name that is objectively worth less than eating the cardboard on which it is printed for nourishment.
Labyrinth of Skophos - Mystifying Maze is not quite good enough for me to run, and neither is this, but it's a good budget choice if you can't afford Maze of Ith.
