In paper Drs is fine on mtgo it's pretty horrible but it's still
Inferior to birds I don't want to run dorks in general due to wraths alredy being effective vs my geas cradle strategy which is the card that makes this deck function. In general similar to Azusa you have to limit the actual ramp spells in favor of draws. Like mojo said the issue is the lack of blue cantrips and tutors you normally get in a blue she'll to answer you trancer no this is not as good as jeleva because blue. You don't get counters to allow your mom vintage ha da to play control you lose tutor density and you lose the most efficient crafting cards in the game for the early turns as well as the most efficient refill spells that come online for less mana meaning you can lower density son certain areas with no real loss. Here I have to make trades I can trade redundancy it for consistsncey resilance and envitavilty for speed. I have not played the 1000+ games I have with the other deck but it's getting their. At the current it's fine with a good hand or once it reaches late game but even that has come at the cost of losing control. This shard can easily power through control with its density. However that's dependent on making a powerful play around turn 3-5 which is slower due to lack of efficient crafting at cmc 1-3. Likewise if another combo deck has vintage power hand you can't tempo with a counterspell your just forced to rely on other and race. Fairly certain when it's in a state of non flux it will be very strong and very fun but let's be honest this IS a blue black format blue coming first without blue you will have issues however in multiplayer it's manageable I think player skill will always outweigh deck strength once your at a fairly balenced table

No it's not up to date but I've mentioned most of the changes so far I'll update it when I'm less lazy and I'm more satisfied. Yes I've played in paper and it works better as TGA is bugged on mtgo in 2 negative ways you can draw back into your tokens which then disappear from your hand ;/ and you don't get the choice to command zone your commander. Which honestly makes my instant win rate off just going prosh > tga with nothing extra thus far slightly higher in paper.

Hey was thinking about this deck on part of a drive last night- young pyromaniac came to mind. Makes some pretty quick tokens. But then I remembered reading you wanted less creature focus and thought of saproling burst. Shrug

here is picture of current list i moved some lands to the 0 drop so you can see them all i recently added fecundity which has been excellent while i was not happy to cut a staple like vandalblast i really don't want to be playing control with this deck at all and nature's claim hits more problematic cards anyway last 3 games i played today where wins turn 4 turn 5 turn 5 won with TGA twice the last game i just went off without it the fact that god of the forge makes empty the warrens for 10 a table kill is just simply easier sometimes. Mox diamond has been failr ygood but not good enough that its uncuttable i think i test my next card in that slot it doesnt feel as good here as i want it to be

I am thinking Emrakul's Hatcher might be a tad better than Siege-Gang Commander if you have not cut it yet.

trancer99 has a good point about Emrakul's Hatcher being better here than Siege-Gang Commander for a couple of reasons. I was just thinking about those type off effects, though, including Deranged Hermit. Are they actually worth it in this deck? For one more mana you can just cast Proshh and get even more tokens.

We established a while ago that Phyrexian Arena is a little too slow and grindy for such a blistering combo deck so I wonder if Dark Confidant is, too. Being a creature, costing one less mana overall, and costing one less colored mana are all very good things compared to Phyrexian Arena. On the other hand, you have to say "go" twice before Bob will actually put you up on cards.

Hatcher is a good replacement for siegegang but yes I do want redundancy for Prosh without it I can easily be mana locked I will admit not being able to bin my commander to command zone after TGA on mtgo has some impact. I agree DC is a less than optimal topdeck but it must be replaced by a 2 drop that does something similar and I don't know that sign in blood or plunge is better BB cost sucks for many reasons not gaining CA of plunge also sucks one of those might be better but DCs body is about a half card better than a draw 2 in the yard when I TGA and draws 3 + a body is not bad for turn 5 kills it also is +1 on cradle which is relivant .

I messed around with this deck a lot today.
Playing Mindslicer and the great aurora the same turn has been devestating against opponents.

Is there room for something like Purphoros, God of the Forge or a mass haste outlet to provide kills that same turn with a dick ton of creatures?
I like tendrils fine but am wondering how to kill a table of 4 players with just tendrils

I think you just pulled me out of retirement from seeing this list. And it is 100% for sure a stronger deck than my Food Chain Prossh. Kudos!

Mini contributions: Treasonous Ogre? Xenagos? Looking for more redundancy for you in terms of huge mana spikes w/ creatures out.

Hmm honestly mind sliver has been in and out of the deck he's much better in paper in a very blue meta but even thier he's hit or miss I feel like he's borderline uncastable until cradle is online that being said once you do have cradle active he instant wins with so many cards large draws TGA and tutors all end the game once I get my cradle engine online and he often dissuades wrath effects. I already run God of dirge op is updated.

Those are interesting suggestions I don't know that I like ogre however Xenagos is an excellent suggestion and also reminds me that Garruck 1 is a card which both seem like great additions. They also at 4 compete with the in and out slicer but I almost like these better as they are simply faster and both combat the only real issue I'm

I messed around with Riftsweeper in the deck to get back Aurora and it worked surprisingly real well.

I ended up having a storm count of 80+ easily, with the constant recycle of the deck it was easy to get cradle + prossh out every time and play a bunch more spells, net mana and tokens then cast aurora again to repeat.

Probably takes a lot longer than it needs to be but I really enjoyed it

That's not only absolutely hilarious but brilliant. This is exactly the kind of thing I wanted to do when I made this deck pure awesome.

I'll be messing around with this more over the week with some other ideas and let you All know

Recycle and Null Profusion are great (and underplayed) cards, but I don't think either is better than Memory Jar. Just saying that there are still a few things in line before we get to dip into Foglio art.

Recycle won't draw your opponent into a Force of Will. (My meta has these)

It's OK that Memory Jar might draw one of your opponents into a Force of Will for the same reason it's OK for Wheel of Fortune to do so. The off-chance that someone will draw a counterspell off one of them is not a bigger drawback than drawing 7 for 3 or 5 is a benefit. In combo decks, where drawing seven cards is a means to an end, you get to cast most of the stuff you get off a jar or wheel the turn you play it whereas you opponents merely have a chance to draw into the play that ruins you. Besides, you could try to make the same argument against The Great Aurora.

Is Food chain something to consider here? It nets a ton of mana and can generate infinite tokens with prossh for a bigger aurora. Kinda makes him harder to cast in further turns but with an infinite storm I don't see that mattering.

Also Fecundity seems like it can draw a ton of cards with prossh on board. Maybe less good but this deck has really got me thinking.

Food Chain is generally pretty nuts with Prossh (and Wanderer), it ends the game with Purphoros. On the downside, it does not give us mana for casting sorceries, and does not combo with anything else in the deck. That being said, I love the card in general, and I would probably run it anyway.

Fecundity tends to stab me in the back. We also rarely kill our tokens (unless Skullclamp), we usually shuffle them, so the only time we might get benefit is if we run into a wipe.

Still not a fan of Memory Jar here, in Sharuum, Arcum, Daretti, sure.

I am currently wondering if Dark Triumph does enough here, as its another rarely used card I love.

deserted temple has been in the deck for weeks this is my new deck tech. fecundity is already in the deck its great . I specifically avoided food chain on purpose but its certainly playable and if you wanted to you could just cut saproling symbiosis from the link below and keep the haste goblin guy and that would be fine

the op is not updated i completely cut NO package as it was clunky and since i cant draw cards with it I found it win more at best if you want to know whats in the deck and what i think needs changed you can click that link XD. the deck has no need of jar or recycle/ null profusion i won all 7 games i played today all turn 3-6 and i killed with god of the forge + empty the warrens all 7 times against very blue tables i just don't cast tga if i can win with another line as empty just wins at 10. i do like the idea of your rift-sweeper as i clear out alternate kill conditions as well as away to re-grab cradle if it gets say strip mined and grave hated away. i had a hilarious game today where i cast prosh turn 4 before dropping cradle some guy discards tidespout tyrant to the blue black copy general and i thought i was screwed but i activate top and find earth-craft and led with clamp in play and diabolic rev in hand and use the dimir players mes mesmeric orb in conjunction with earthcraft to set up a game ending yawgwin on turn it was pretty funny. i have plenty of untaps now i dont know that i want another but if i did you can play candles it just doesn't add anything outside of that and is useless pre-prosh

i recorded the last game i played fraps crapped out but i just used the ambition to tutor yawgwin and killed them with empty the warrens and god of the forge again

Yes indeed watch the video ;). If I could play a 3rd kill condition that would make me happy but if you watch the short updated tech tech I think your rift sweeper could easily fill that role while at the same time allowing me to get back a exiled geas cradle. Cost of arms was clunky I literally have won 9 of my last 10 games with god of the forge. The other hand I was forced to use tendrils as puraphos got exiled via mill + relic of progenitus. But it's hard to beat a card that not only pumps cradle but you can then PiF or yawgwin back for "storm
