Trying to build a deck that is semi-competitive (budget is non-issue) and looking for ideas. I made a first draft of the deck but am still kinda figuring out which 3 themes I like most: Creatures that like to die + sac/destroy outlets, self-saccing creatures, tokens + sac outlets. Currently the deck has some solid synergies but has had issues with color fixing and speed. Looking for both Timmy and Spike ideas or any common Savra synergies I'm missing; I prefer practicality over flavor.
Not looking for an S-tier deck, just looking for something that can survive somewhere between casual commander and competitive. My main play group is extremely competitive, but I already have a deck for that and am looking for something less powerful for when I venture to more casual groups or simply when we're not playing for prizes. I want it to be semi-competitive but light on "feel bads". The current version has infinites that are fairly slow to assemble and can easily be sided out (2 cards) for play groups that abhor infinites entirely.
I've started this deck as well. I typically don't play black so I don't own a ton of the staple cards you would run. I'll look at what I've got and let you know if I see anything you might want to add. Off the top of my head - Dictate of Erebos or Grave Betrayal?
