anger is prime discard fodder for the haste
you might also consider sootstoke kindler which provides early haste
and maybe even goblin bushwhacker(not so mutch on this one just thinking about haste)
i also was thinking about savage beating with hellcarver as its 4 effects of him
then i thought how were you going to get red for entwine if you have no lands
1/3 of your deck is instants and sorcerys so you might consider past in flames i know you have yawgs will but past in flames is actually useful if it gets discarded
for instance grabbing reanimate then using burnt offering
or casting songs of the damned is nothing to sneeze at.
i would really like to read about some multiplayer games you play since i only really end up playing 4 person
sweet glad to be of assistance and yea bitterblossom is great just not here its more of a grimgrin, corpse-born card
man i'm running out of ideas due to my limited knowledge pool(joking of course i'll figure more just could not resist)
thoughts on destructive force doesn't kill hellcarver or many other big creatures slows others down other people compleatly possible to resolve a bitter ordeal off it for 30+ and adds to sac theme
Anyone here thought about throwing a Soul Conduit into the deck? We've already got the Lich + Repay In Kind combo, and Conduit is a good backup plan just in case Repay isn't accessible (although it is a bit slower). At the very least, with the amount of life this deck tends to lose, it could lead to some surprise kills if you force yourself low enough.

the problem with soul conduit is that you have to activate it and is awful off the back of a hellcarver demon since you wont have mana to activate it
Bloodgift Demon is really good but Seizan, Perverter of Truth works out like this most of the time: "Here have 2 cards.... and it's dead". Thus rendering it useless most of the times
hmm.. that may be true, but it'd definitely take a hit in place of some other critical pieces in the deck that the deck absolutely relies on. But then again, it also costs 5, so its a bit pricey for a damage magnet.
With a deck that is as "black heavy" as this one, having lands that tap for colorless was hurting the deck more than the benefits provided. Since the deck is mostly black with a splash of red, i'm going to try the urborg + coffers combo here to see if it works out.
I still have not run into any problems with card advantage yet, so i'm going to cut some of the card draw that was under performing for me. Both moonlight and Harvester cost too much for the amount they ended up drawing over the course of the game when compared to my other card draw. Replacing the two cards will be Faithless Looting and Living Death like Vixemp suggested. They have a pretty neat interaction with one another and the rest of the deck. Faithless Looting will help with getting cards to the yard as a replacement for Moonlight Bargain. Living Death could be an early game combo or a lategame wincon.
I'm not sold on Past in Flames just yet. Yawgmoth's Will hasn't been doing all that much work for me at the moment. I'll put Past in Flames in it's spot and the card i wish i had when i draw into it more often will be the one that keeps the slot.
Pit Dweller and Lord of Riots have not been doing too well for me. The Dweller did not hold off attackers well, and the damage it did wasn't significant in any particular match. The drawback and lack of evasion put a nail in it's coffin. The Lord of Riots's mechanic simply does not interact well with the rest of the deck. I often have trouble enabling it on earlier turns when i want it out, and later on i have better plays to make. Demon of Death's gate was just too many hoops for me to jump through. In their place i'm putting some haste enablers. Mass Hysteria is extremely cheap, and i'm not all too worried about giving my opponents' haste, especially since it's on theme. Dragon Tempest is totally off theme for the deck. It is low cost at 2 mana and hits all but 3 of my creatures (Master of Cruelties, Phyrexian Obliterator, It That Betrays) I'll give it a shot, but if i'm unhappy with Dragon Tempest, I will likely replace it with either Fervor or Sneak Attack. Lastly Anger is the last haste enabler i'm putting in. It has synergy with effects like Faithless Looting or even Rakdos Riteknife.
Liege usually took up turn 3 and 4, and needed to be killed turn 5 to be effective. I decided to get rid of it to make space for Blood Speaker, which acts as a repeatable tutor for 4 mana. Demon of Wailing Agonies requires the commander to be on the board to go active. But when i have the commander out, i usually want to create a state where i can attack with it instead. mageslayer mentioned Savage Beating, and i feel it could be an effective card to serve as copy no 2 of World at War. Nefarox also has a condition attached to it like the Demon of Wailing agonies. In it's case, the condition is Exalted. I've come across situations where i deal about hald the damage that i could just to enable the Nefarox. I've removed it for Defiler of Souls to begin with. Defiler is active on the turn it comes into play, possibly killing up to 3 creatures before it becomes my turn. It's downside can be mitigated if i do not have any mono-colored demons out as well. I'll give it a try and if i'm dissatisfied, i might run some other removal in it's place, possibly Void
How do you guys feel about Heartless Summoning? It's nice when i get it early on to help speed up the deck, but getting it later game is pretty much a dead card. I'm leaving it in at the moment, but the card is shortlisted for removal.
Insurrection is another card that's on shortlist for removal. I've only put it in recently, and have not had any games in which it has resolved. At the same time there hasn't been any game where i wished i had it on hand. With it's RRR mana cost making it pretty hard to cast, i may just end up removing it.
Regarding Bloodgift Demon. I've mentioned my reasons for cutting the card somewhere early on. I've tested it (it's on the changelog). First off it's card draw at 5 mana. It takes one full turn to have any effect. And it's effect is a single card draw each turn a the cost of 1 life. What usually happens is the demon dies to targeted or untargeted removal like a boardwipe for something else, giving us 0 benefit or at most a card or two. I feel like it isn't impactful enough to warrant a slot in the deck. Seizan is doubly worse in that regard.
I tried this out a couple weeks ago. (My friend wanted to test a deck on cockatrice so I blatantly netdecked this to get a different deck to play against him.) I would agree entirely with cutting Insurrection. You've probably got the most threatening board most of the time, and if you don't, you could use that mana to actually make the most threatening board. The only time Insurrection seems like it would be useful for you is if it coincidentally hits your hand when there's enough power to just win the game that turn, which is way too circumstantial for 8 mana.
I mentioned earlier, but I'd like to put a serious plug in here for it: Torrent of Souls. I know it seems a tad underwhelming for 5 mana, but the surprise factor is just too fun and effective. With a strong board and something in the graveyard, it's really comparable to something like World at War. You can swing for an extra like 15 damage and get one more trigger out of Lord of the Void than your opponents expected. And the versatility is great. Sometimes you have nothing in play and you Rise from the Grave a Rune-scarred Demon. Sometimes your graveyard is empty but you can kill someone by Trumpet Blasting some harpies. And sometimes your opponent spends their turn destroying all creatures and you comeback with a hasty Master of Cruelties from your graveyard.
I'm working really hard to sell this because I know it doesn't seem like the best inclusion at face value, but I bet that if you try it out, you'll like it.
And just to actually respond to the changes you listed:
Dragon Tempest seems disappointing because It That Betrays and Master of Cruelties are some of the best things to give haste.
Heartless Summoning is dead card late. Also, Void is awesome.
I'm not sure how the math works out when you cut 7 beaters and add Living Death, but I'm sure it'll work out. (In all seriousness, in my limited experience with the deck, I agree wholeheartedly with thinning the threats to add more enablers).

Zedruu: "This deck is not only able to go crazy - it also needs to do so."
I'll keep Torrent of Souls in mind whenever i draw Insurrection in the future. I'm still not entirely sold on it as of yet. Usually if the deck has a couple of creatures out on the field/the boardstate is good, the card will pretty much function as a win-more card. There isn't too much trouble getting through defenses since most of the demons have flying/trample. As a recursion effect, i feel that 5 mana is rather costly. I personally prefer effects like Shallow grave or reanimate because they enable some really early game madness with the right cards, whereas Torrents wouldn't. If i do try it out in the future, it'll probably have to compete for a spot with cards like animate dead and necromancy.
I have the same concerns for Dragon Tempest that you brought up. I figure testing a haste enabler with a drawback like tempest would give me more information than straight up using fervor first.
In terms of creature density, 20 creatures is a pretty solid number for a typical deck. My builds range from between 15 creatures (in Toshiro) to 42 creatures (in Kresh), with 20-21 being the average. That said, making changes and such is mostly a matter of trial and error, so i'll give the current deck a few runs with the changes made recently and go from there.
Just wondering... How exactly does the Demon Rush combo work since Doomsday can only fetch 5 cards? Do you have to cast Final Fortune before you attack with Hellcarver?
Oh.... So you just have to find a way to get all those on top of your library?
Yes. Best way to do that would be Insidious Dreams. You can do pretty much the same with Doomsday to set up the Hellcarver Attack though that would require you to have one of the castable pieces in your hand or drop a demon.
What you want to use with Doomsday/Hellcarver are determined by the boardstate, what is in your GY/Exiled and how much mana/resources you have. It's up to each individual player to determine what's best to pull for each situation.
What has been your views with Ill-Gotten Gains? I have used Yawgwin more than I have ever used IGG...
I'm pretty impressed with it so far. Managed to win 2 games off it if i can recall. First one where it helped me dump a creature into the yard and reanimate it.
Second one was an impromptu activation off a Hellcarver Demon along a sacrifice, a creature that allowed me to recur and play Insidious Dreams into Lich/Repay in Kind for a clutch win.
Yawgmoth simply isn't as flexible as IGG is imo, which is why it's position is up for debate.
Alright so I just had an awesome game last night which i thought i should share. The game was against my Norin deck, piloted by a friend. Basically he was about to win me in 2-3 turns from the outlook of the board state.
I casted Insidious Dreams at his eot discarding 3 cards (everything i had). I searched for Hellcarver Demon, Shallow Grave and World at War thinking that my opponent wouldn't let Hellcarver survive a round (It dosen't have haste). On my turn I draw and play Hellcarver Demon. On his turn he attacks me and wraths the board destroying my 3 demons including Hellcarver while putting me down to 6 life. His boardstate is enough to kill me on the next turn. I draw my Shallow Grave and cast it, bringing my Hellcarver Demon back as I predicted. The only card that i know is on the top of library is World at War. I decide that luck/fate or whatever is going to be my only chance to stay in this game. I swing and hit, my opponent is pretty much still at full life due to some wurmcoil engine copy shenanigans earlier. I exile the following cards: World at War, Ill-Gotten Gains, Nefarox, Overlord of Grixis, Sacrifice and 2 Lands. It takes about 10 seconds, but something suddenly clicks. I order the cards as such: Sacrifice/Nefarox/Ill-Gotten Gains/World at War. So World resolves, giving me an additional combat phase. Ill-Gotten Gain resolves, allowing me to pitch nothing and take back 2 random cards in GY + Insidious Dreams. Nefarox resolves and is then sacrificed for 6 mana. I cast Insidious Dreams at instant speed (can i still do this in combat phase?) pitching the 2 random cards and searching for Lich and Repay in Kind. I swing with Hellcarver Demon with the biggest grin on my face.
I was just going over the changes is Anger worth it? you only have 2 mountains in your current list and mine has 3. Also why not run Sheoldred, Whispering One over Defiler of Souls? I know it's not a demon and costs 1 more mana but it won't kill your demons when it gets to your turn.

Anger and Defiler are new additions which I can't give my opinions about until i've actually tested them. I like to use interesting variants of cards rather the vanilla/cookie-cutter versions when i'm still at the testing phase because i learn alot more from doing so. You could very easily use cards like fervor or hammer of purphoros in place of dragon tempest and anger. I like to test with the variants because whenever those cards come out during a game, I get to see how beneficial the variant is and how often it falls short of performing in the deck. If the costs/downsides outweigh the benefits, i can simply swap them for the vanilla versions. If they work, then it usually is better for the deck than running the vanilla version.
An example with Anger would be it's potential interaction with cards like Faithless Looting, allowing for an extremely cheap enabler of haste. Do I have enough mountains to enable it? I don't quite know yet (I'm leaning towards saying no). Whether that means i should remove Anger or replace some swamps/non-basics with Mountains will depend on the results of testing.
This will probably happen frequently, especially for my newer decks like Rakdos which undergo a heavy amount of iteration while i find out what works and what dosen't. Once the major changes and experiments are done is when the fine-tuning and minute changes come in.
I'm really digging your decklist. I have a rakdos deck too, but I've been struggling with speed and effectiveness. I initially started it off as a demon tribal, but curve was too high, I then cut it down by adding non-demon utility creatures. Some of the cards you have in your list are great and I'm considering changing mine to be closer to yours but I'm having some crazy trouble finding cuts or cheaper alternatives to some of your choices
I like the crazy risk taking strategy you have. I have a few combos you might be interested in such as

I probably wouldn't be able to justify Lich's Mirror for what it does. It's pretty bad in terms of protection, considering that 20 life and no permanents on the field does not exactly bode well for survivability.
That, and this isn't quite the deck to be hedging risks in.
Lich + Repay in Kind is already an immediate kill on all opponents. If it is played when an opponent can disrupt it, we pretty much deserve to lose imo.
If you're looking for haste and recursion, I'd like to recommend Torrent of Souls. Go from cleared board to blowout in record time.

Seems like that should be enough for the moment.
Havoc Festival was something i contemplated when putting the initial list together. In the end i cut it because it didn't do enough for the mana cost.
