Suggestions for a good discard outlet for a zombie build?
I keep ending up with cards I want in my graveyard in my hand (Wonder, Vengeful Pharaoh, one of the titans, Bridge from Below which I'm play-testing, etc.).
Personally, since I tend to run into a similar problem with my dredge cards, the solution I'm considering is to just run a lot of Forbidden Alchemy/Frantic Search effects. Lotleth Troll could also be good.
@Tears of Tomorrow:
The deck isn't as dependent on Sidisi as most commander decks might be but it definitely works better with her in play since she makes zombies when you self-mill.
@WWWolfe:
There're a couple of good discard outlets in BUG that require no mana cost. Remember that with all the sacrifice outlets you can also just cast the creatures and sacrifice them if need be. That's how I usually deal with drawing into Filth, for example. I do also run Scroll Rack so I topdeck and then self-mill away what I want. However, as a pure discard outlet there's Mind Over Matter. You can use it to tap down threats or also untap your utility things or lands like Gaea's Cradle, etc. The quadruple blue can be quite the hindrance though...

It's a great combo but I just really needed some slots for some great cards and I couldn't find anything else to cut. On their own they're still useful but not as useful as what I cut them for. Together they're amazing but I now have more amazing synergies in the deck with what I cut. The combo is cute and I'm glad I figured it out and is my own creation, but at the end of the day, I just have to play what's better. That being said, I might use it in an alternate build (like the Zombie one) of even the budget one since now the altar is a bit cheaper.

So, after LOTS of testing, this is a list I've put together that I feel quite comfortable with. Th idea is to just keep throwing stuff into the graveyard until I'm ready to lose to Bojuka Bog reanimate a two-creature win combo with Victimize or Living Death. The combos in question are Izoni+Craterhoof and Mike+Trike.
A card I really want to run, having recently acquired it, is Diabolic Intent, but I really don't know what to cut for it.

That's what I was thinking. Altar of Dementia & Mortuary do a lot on their own, but Narcomoeba doesn't seem to do much in the deck on it's own.
Had a heckuva game the other day with my zombie build. After continuously having to rebuild after board wipes I was finally able to stabilize around turn 11. Honestly with the Teysa deck draining everyone at the rate it was starting to, I thought I was done...then I top-decked Rot Hulk, returned Undead Warchief, Sidisi, Undead Vizier, and Phyrexian Delver to the battlefield. Had Sidisi exploit a zombie token to search for and cast Cyclonic Rift. Used Phyrexian Delvers ability to bring Body Double back as a copy of Craterhoof Behemoth and swing out for the win.

Sorry, I haven't had time to look through your list. I'll try and see if I have a moment to later on today...

Rot Hulk is definitely crazy in the zombie version of the deck. That's why it's definitely necessary to run it. You get to reanimate zombies for free.

Didn't you consider Cavalier of Thorns? I feel like it could be an awesome card. Dig for 5 then put a land from those 5 onto the battlefield and the rest into your graveyard. Exiling itself grants another creature for selfmilling or something you want to draw again. I like that one a lot.
Also 5/6 with Reach.

You're right; I must've overlooked that one. The triple green is a bit uncomfortable but the abilities and body are all relevant.

Also, any thoughts on if you're going to migrate to the new site or stay here?
It's a Lotus Vale that trades entering the battlefield tapped for hexproof. That makes it somewhat better depending the meta. I recur lands from the graveyard so the sacrifice isn't a big deal. However, I want to avoid using lands that enter the battlefield tapped.
As for migrating, it seems that most of the people I tend to interact here (follow my threads or whose threads I follow) are migrating as well. Since the site won't be destroyed and it won't just be archived, I'll just be around to provide maintenance to my primers. Depending on how things flow on the new site I'll probably set them up there, as well. I still have to see any news about the new site or how the transition/exodus - whatever you call it - is gonna be.

Yea, the entering the battlefield tapped is what kind of has me hesitant but with the untappers and me not running any other lands that come into play tapped I feel like I could probably get away with it.
Painter's Servant is unbanned. Together with Grindstone it makes for a Mill-everything-at-once combo, and is also an abusable wincon. I don't quite see it in this deck, except for when we want to use Whisper, Blood Liturgist with instant-speed to get any creature we want out of the freshly milled graveyard, before it is shuffled and used as a library again, due to the Eldrazi Titans.

Hermit Druid and no basics is even easier to do since it's a one-card combo. I tried it in one of the initial versions of the deck and it wasn't really worth it. It's great if you do that and then cast Living Death to get Laboratory Maniac and Wall of Blossoms from the graveyard. But other than that...

Hey all, I officially made the move to MTGNexus. First thing I'm going to try and do is transfer my Primers over there and the threads I currently have that I follow the most. I don't know how many else made the move but I still have to get used to the new formatting of the site. I will not pay as much attention to MTGSalvation once I transfer my most followed threads. However, I will still be around here for those who didn't make the move. That being said, I will only do so to maintain my primers since they have helped many people and continue doing so. It's the least I can do since this community has helped me in these endeavors since I first joined Xmas day almost 7 years ago. For those interested, here's the link to the thread for Sidisi, Brood Tyrant in MTGNexus. It's still a work in progress and hopefully I can get around to completing Polukranos and Mazirek. Afterwards I'll make more threads on the decks I like to play most or those I'm brewing.
On a sidenote, I'm also planning on starting a Youtube channel dedicated to Commander. I'm going to make videos that are typical of a Commander channel but I'm also writing up content to fill some niches and stand out among my peers who have spent years doing this. MtG has always been one of my favorite hobbies even though I've always been on/off on it. Maybe if I delve deeper into the various facets of it it'll be harder to get off than to stay on. Hopefully I can remain connected to the community that has helped me remain in this hobby for as long as I have for the longest time.

Full Flowering - This card seems overpowered but I don't believe it is. Cards like Second Harvest doubles all your tokens - not just creature tokens like populate does - and only costs 2GG. If I had 1 or 3 or 100 tokens, I just pay 2GG for Second Harvest and I get 1 or 3 or 100 more. If I wanted 10 Zombie tokens with Full Flowering I would have to pay 1010G
Ohran Frostfang - A combination of half of Bident of Thassa and half of Bow of Nylea all on a body. The key word in that entire sentence was "body". I don't run Coastal Piracy because it's not a creature; I also don't run Edric, Spymaster of Trest because it benefits other opponents who don't attack me. However, this isn't the case with Ohran Frostfang. It has all the pros and none of the cons. Definitely worth considering for the deck.
Volrath, the Shapestealer - I always loved the lore of the Weatherlight saga back in the day and how finally the war between Urza and Yawgmoth came to an end. And even though Volrath already has a card, this one's pretty amazing. I don't know if it'll find a slot in the deck, but I'm just glad that every single BUG legendary is so different that they don't really go together (the only exception being Muldrotha, the Gravetide that goes great in every deck sporting those colors). Being able to copy any creature in play is no joke though and it still has the possibility of being versatile. That being said, this deck is cursed with being so fine-tuned that it's near impossible to fit new cards in unless they're strictly better than any card already in the deck.
Idol of Oblivion - Almost always guaranteed to draw me a card any turn for just 2. Definitely worth considering.
My YouTube Channel: The Commander Tavern - a channel I just started where I'll post deck techs and gameplays. Please support by checking it out. Maybe you'll like its content and subscribe! Thanks!
Bloodthirsty Blade is a good pseudo-removal that fits in every deck. Just imagine how you'd feel if someone used it on Sidisi herself.
Forcing utility generals to attack (unless they can tap) removes them from the game and aggressive commanders also cannot attack you.
Gift of Doom could be played in T3 without acceleration. In T4 you'd play Sidisi, and you can just let it sit until they cast removal. At that point you sacrifise one of your zombies and make her indestructible.
Idol of Oblivion is basically a 2 mana artifact that draws you cards every single turn.
Road of Return seems really good because it both serves as a semi-Eternal Witness and it returns Sidisi back to my hand when she gets killed for the fifth time.
I am not saying they are auto-includes, but some of them definitely require some attention. Especially Gift of Doom and Idol of Oblivion seem quite interesting.

I agree that I might've overlooked Idol of Oblivion. It could basically draw me a card any turn for just 2. However, it, as well as the other cards you mention, suffer from the same condition: they're noncreature spells. The deck wants to reduce the number of noncreature spells it runs.
Gift of Doom is cute and although morph doesn't go to the stack, attaching the aura to Sidisi does; so it can be responded to.
Bloodthirsty Blade isn't a bad card but I wouldn't necessarily include it in every deck; it's not Lightning Greaves. Using up a noncreature slot just to force opponents' commanders to attack is too narrow for what the deck does. It's good in a vacuum but I'd like for the cards that do wind up in the deck to synergize as much as possible. This card just doesn't do that.
Road to Return is a spell that does twice of what Eternal Witness does but I don't need the other half of that spell. The deck does have enough reanimation that I can just let Sidisi go to the graveyard instead of the command zone and then cast her or cheat her into play from there. If the graveyard is exiled, then I'll send Sidisi to the command zone. If I have sufficient mana production (which the deck does a lot of) then I don't worry that much about how taxed she is.
I do appreciate the analysis of these cards, but it's incredibly hard to find slots for the deck and any noncreature spell I include has to pretty much replace any other noncreature spell in the deck and quite honestly, I haven't seen many new cards that could do that. As far as creatures go, I'm more critical of those and I tend to analyze as many creatures that could better synergize with the deck. Guilds of Ravnica and Ravnica Allegience gave so many great cards for the deck that I made quite a few changes to it. War of the Spark, Core Set 2020, and Commander 2019 not so much. But that's okay, I still have to see which of the 4 precons I'm gonna buy - if any.

That is true, but I do think it's the cheapest card draw we could have access to.

Good point. I always forget to send her to the GY, we should do that in a deck with as much reanimate as Sultai.

Indeed, Kangodo is correct. You have to have priority, of course, but morph doesn't use the stack and this card's attachment "As this is turned face up..." is a replacement effect.
702.36e
Any time you have priority, you may turn a face-down permanent you control with a morph ability face up. This is a special action; it doesn’t use the stack (see rule 116). To do this, show all players what the permanent’s morph cost would be if it were face up, pay that cost, then turn the permanent face up. (If the permanent wouldn’t have a morph cost if it were face up, it can’t be turned face up this way.) The morph effect on it ends, and it regains its normal characteristics. Any abilities relating to the permanent entering the battlefield don’t trigger when it’s turned face up and don’t have any effect, because the permanent has already entered the battlefield.
614.1e
Effects that read “As [this permanent] is turned face up . . . ,” are replacement effects.

Hm, that's good to know... Unfortunately, it still suffers from being a noncreature spell And I don't think it's that warranted to protect Sidisi when it's so easy to get her into play.

What are people's opinions on Sakashima the Impostor and Spark Double? I very rarely see them in Sidisi lists and in my experience they are extremely powerful since they get around the legend rule. Having one Sidisi is great, having 2-3 gets insane quickly. Granted, having multiple copies of Sidisi is redundant in those instances when you have the pieces to generate infinite mill, but any other time (or for any builds not going the infinite mill route) they are both amazing.

I like both cards as I've used them both in The Scarab God and Nekusar, the Mindrazer. Having multiple Sidisi's in play is absolutely nuts but it's honestly just a matter of space for me. Finding cuts in the deck is just getting more and more difficult with each new set released.

Hm, that's good to know... Unfortunately, it still suffers from being a noncreature spell And I don't think it's that warranted to protect Sidisi when it's so easy to get her into play.

I like both cards as I've used them both in The Scarab God and Nekusar, the Mindrazer. Having multiple Sidisi's in play is absolutely nuts but it's honestly just a matter of space for me. Finding cuts in the deck is just getting more and more difficult with each new set released.
