So my current project is building 5 mono colored casual decks for each color. I had a lot of green cards laying around that I wasn't using, so I took a look at the Commander Decklist Database on this forum and decided to make Kodama of the South Tree, because it seemed like a little-played general. I like the idea of spirits and I really like Kamigawa block's flavor. This deck is still very much a work in progress, but here it is in its current form:
Right now, the deck is kind of slow. I haven't played it much yet, but I'm looking to include more tribal stuff like Coat of Arms. I'd also like to include a natural order and other ways to cheat out big fatties, and then get them through with Kodama's triggered ability, which pumps and gives trample. It's been fun building and testing it so far, but I am definitely hoping to hear some suggestions. Since the general is so janky, I'm not afraid of increasing the power level so I can hang at the tables at my LGS. Thanks!
I feel like you could use more ramp. I don't really like the mana elves unless you're running equipment for them to carry late game. I would take them out for additional ramp, even if it's just Rampant Growth. Green has a ton of ramp options that will help you out especially if you're feeling slow.
