So I was about to break down and buy Falkenrath Aristocrat when I found this little jewel Phyrexian Plaguelord. I know it does not create +1/+1 for it self but it can be used as sac engine and spot removal.

I considered the plaguelord for a long time in my original marchesa build and honestly just want sold on it. Seemed awfully expensive and in most edh scenarios you won't be able to kill real threats with it. Now if it made -1/-1 counters that'd be a different story! I'd love to know how it plays for you though. As for sac outlets I also run ashnod's altar which I know isn't ran in Drune's deck list
Faceless Butcher over Zealous Conscripts? With a sac outlet, Zealous Conscripts is essentially a more permanent version of the Butcher even without Marchesa, with the added benefit of being able to attack and steal noncreature permanents. That can also incidentally go infinite or permanently steal other creatures, while also having haste so that it can immediately get a counter from Marchesa. It only costs 1 more mana, and when you get 4 mana initially you're probably casting Marchesa anyways. The stipulation of needing a sac outlet isn't really even a downside, as a Marchesa deck wants to always have one out anyways.

I have to agree with this. With a sac outlet usually guaranteed, every steal spell can be thought of as a kill spell at the very least
Faceless butcher has a few things going for it that I like personally.
1- It can exile creatures permanently by stacking its trigger like oblivion ring.
2- with Mikeus and a sac outlet you can exile 2 things, one being permanent.
3- its black so xiahou dun can grab it from the grave.
4- its 4cmc so you can tutor it to play with fleshwrither.
5- You can exile one of your own dudes before a living death if needed.
Zealous Conscripts has a great many things going for it as well, and I didn't switch the two exactly for one another, but I havent't missed conscripts yet, amd butcher has been working overtime keeping lots of nasty things off the board.

Have you thought about Morality Shift? With the way you like to bounce living death it would be a fun addition to your deck.
I also got a chance to try out Dong Zhou, the Tyrant with Marchesa. It can devastate an opponents life total and if you do it right you can kill them with there own general and never have steal there general
I sleeved up the following last night. This deck is _hard_ to build. Marchesa enables so many things, you can build to exploit the counters, ETB triggers, sac effects. So this is what I played, but I have a pile of another 50 cards that could just as well go in.
The deck was fun, but needs some removal. Mimic Vat is a serious problem if an opponent lands one, so artifact removal is gonna be coming in. I also found myself not having the power to swing at the current life leader effectively and not having ways to clean up the board makes that difficult. I was going to try to incorporate Grave Pact / Dictate of Erebos but cut them for space considerations. Now I think I want them back along w/ perhaps a Pestilence or Toxic Deluge (I don't have a Damnation and won't be getting one). Purpheros also seems like he belongs, but I already have one deck that uses it and that's plenty.
Oh, also bad news: Sundial of the Infinite. If you have guys waiting to come back and the opponent activates their Sundial, then you don't get your dudes back.
Geralf's Messenger was an all star w/ a sac outlet + Marchesa. It provided a way to lower the top guy by enough points that I could attack into someone with a weaker board position and get Dethrone triggers on my guys.
Also awesome was Keranos + Chasm Skulker. I think about 4 times I had Keranos out and drew a land which means 2 counters on Skulker (I think, I'm a little fuzzy on the rules here TBH).
I also tried to squeeze in some Kurkesh hijinks but ended up cutting as well for space considerations. As I refine my creature selection to include a few useful artifact guys (Triskelion and Triskelvus come to mind) maybe I'll try to squeeze him back in.
Anyway, the deck is a blast to play. I'm looking forward to playing this one for a while.
@ silkwilly - I've never encountered a sundial, that's unfortunate. Purphuros I actually cut, the problem with him is you can get to be the highest life total fast, and your then get hated on hard by everyone. I would replace Cosi's trickster with Filth, since you already run Urborg, it makes all your dudes unblockable. I also highly recommend Flayer of the Hatebound, it's insane for killing folks. I've done over 400 damage in one turn with it and a few clones of it. Also, it's worth the ten or so dollars, you need a cabal coffers. It fuels explosive turns like no other.
@ LastCrysis - As far as Dong Zhou, the Tyrant goes, he is pretty cool, but I think that Flayer of the Hatebound is just incredible in comparison. Morality Shift seem fun but I see it ending badly for me, instant speed graveyard hate isn't unheard of in my meta.

Sneak attack is freaking insane. Anyone building the deck needs to consider this card if budget allows.
Game 3
Realized I need more artifact and grave hate. Played against a pretty tuned combo kurkesh deck. Got him down to 2 life, but could not keep a creature on board to seal the victory. Died to hextuple goblin charbelcher activations. Bauble abuse gave him access to tons of cards throughout the game, I just couldn't keep up.

(9/3/2014)
Speeding up the deck and packing as much power and draw as possible. Starting to take on tables without combos relatively easy.
Additions:
+ Phyrexian Arena Awesome for the deck, gives us steam and helps our life total.
+ Chasm Skulker Wicked synergy between sage of fables and marchesa herself.
+ Pain Seer Early card draw and life total fixing. It's no confidant, but that's also on the list to pick up.
+ Bitterblossom Great for holding out against hyper aggressive decks, and gives us bodies to swing with, testing well.
+ Talisman of Indulgence I usually need more red/black than blue, and fixes life and mana over sky diamond, will be adding the other talisman too.
+ Gray Merchant of Asphodel Great for abusing with our etb abuse. Also helps pad life due to all the aggressive life costs.
Removed:
- Sky Diamond < Talismans
- Dictate of Erebos WHAAAAAAT?! Yea I took it out. Living Death does it's job 10000x better and is way more easy to abuse.
- Feast of the Fallen Wow, don't play this, its way worse in play than on paper.
- Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur Yea, with me adding confidant effects and lowering my curve, I dropped him. He doesn't impact games that end before you can cast/cheat him in.
- Cytoplast Manipulator Can durdle a bit, but otherwise rather weak creature overall. I like the exploding squid better.
- Kira, Great Glass-Spinner Has dis-synergy with kiki-jiki/unspeakable symbol/thassa and was really low impact considering I sac to respond to removal anyhow.
@Prince_Reyson
Deck looks good, I love how she can just turn a bunch of ragtag dudes into unstoppable threats. These current changes are from heavily testing the deck in semi-competitive multiplayer pods all weekend. Fleshwrither is one of the many MVP's that makes the deck tick. Aura Thief, when you need an pillow fort answer, is the absolute biggest blowouts you can have in a game of magic. One dude that was actually really good when i tested it randomly is Pain Seer. I know the card looks awful, but between Thassa, God of The Sea, Filth with Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, and Vela, the Nightclad, he always connected and got me draws. Oh and pain seer happens to be a wizard for sage of fables, and is a tutor target for imperial recruiter. Going to be getting a dark confidant for the deck because if pain seer is good, bob must be god-like

I would cut one of you mana rocks, you have a good mana base and losing one of them will not hurt you and you have enough card draw to not worry about the mid game resource war to have to worry about getting a land or a mana ramp. That is the big problem I a finding with my deck I am thinking of adding Wheel of Fortune(even thou it help everyone) or Necropotence to help.
Mindclaw Shaman Ok this guy is going onto my (I Must get right now list). I see all type of potential for this thing. You can sneak attack it in an try to get a counter spell in response to a bad spell or just steal someone's BA spell you know they have. I can really see using this on the guy that starts boasting how he is going to win next round. I only wish the thing came with it's own flash or was 1 mana cheaper.
It's seems like a decent play to venser a good sized sorcery/instant back to your opponents hand, and follow it up by mindclaw as well. I don't run it as my slots are insanely tight. Seems like a great budget option though

I think same way, but the restriction "damage to a creature" may be a bit inferior to Necropolis Regent. Both have same cmc and have flying, but Regent has more impact on board. I didn't run any of them, due I play duel and I prefer a lower curve, but both seems very interesting options to add.
What do you think about mephidross vampire? Should be fun with marchesa, if you dont atack the player with most life point, you can get a counter on your creature or deal dmg to an opponent..

They were both actually not that great in testing them. You need your counters either off of swinging with dethrone, or some other way pre-combat. Our dudes are small and can't really go toe to toe with big green fatties, or just fatties in general. Mephidross Vampire sounds awesome on paper, but reality is that you dudes will die in combat and never get their counters, and not get to recur themselves. Necropolis Regent is strong, but honestly I've found that the amount of counters on our dudes don't matter after the first, so it kind of loses out it's slot to flayer of the hatebound and scourge of the thrones.
Big updates to the deck today:
(9/9/2014)
Additions:
+ Jace, the Mind Sculptor - It's Jace, might as well run the best walkers
+ Liliana of the Veil - It's Liliana, might as well run the best walkers
+ Graveborn Muse - Card draw for life at 4cmc on a creature. Got a lot going for it.
+ Talisman of Dominance - Good mana rock for fixing, speed, and life loss
+ Izzet Signet - finished cycle of signets
+ Fulminator Mage - Gets rid of all those problematic utility lands and busted stuff like Gaea's Cradle.
+ Dimir House Guard - Sac outlet, tutor, evasive, and can be tutored by both fleshwrither and imperial recruiter. It's like it was made for this deck...
+ Tuktuk Scrapper - Needed more artifact hate. 4cmc and 2 power makes it easily tutored.
Removed:
- Treasonous Ogre - Can fuel explosive plays rarely, but ends up a dead card the other 99% of the time.
- Faceless Butcher - I'd rather steal or clone stuff.
- Shadowblood Ridge - Dropped from 40 to 38 lands, this was a bad land.
- Darkwater Catacombs - Dropped from 40 to 38 lands, this was a bad land.
- Charcoal Diamond - Replaced by a better rock.
- Fire Diamond - Replaced by a better rock.
- Whip of Erebos - Gray Merchant does more work than whip ever did, and can be tutored.
- Vela the Night Clad - Bad, by the time she was online I usually had Urborg + Filth assembled anyway.

These seem incredible for the deck, just not sure of my cuts yet.
Worth testing: Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker - A 5 cost indestructable attacker with evasion that grows and has removal built in seems amazing, not sure I'd like it over any other finishers though. Retribution of the Ancients - Not sure if this could be incredible or just outright awful. I'm not sure, probably the latter but I'm going to try it at least.
Everything else in Khans to me is just absolute crap, I won't be cracking packs even to draft this garbage.

Hmm I guess I just don't see how Grim Haruspex is an attractive card for this deck. The obvious reason why I cast it is because I want to draw... but to draw I have to kill my own stuff... and I won't want to kill my own stuff unless I've already made sure they have a counter on them and Marchesa is on the battlefield. I'd rather run arena over him personally... At least arena is guaranteed card draw and it helps knock our life total down to activate Dethrone triggers.
Retribution of the Ancients won't be good in this deck. If we were running green then of course I'd consider it, but getting counters on our own guys is hard enough let alone expendable counters.
Think of grim haruspex as an attrition card. If they hate out marchesa, you can still replace your dudes with card draw, letting you keep up. Being the only morph card in the deck is silly for morph purposes, but the card draw from us throwing our creatures into our opponents is awesome. I honestly wish it was a 4cmc with 2 power or less for maximum tutor potential. Even if you don't try to abuse it, you can think of it as making all your dudes bad mulldrifters.
Retribution of the Ancients is a card im testing for a few reasons. This deck is quite removal light, and even less of that removal solves indestructable. More often than not to deal with an avacyn, I kill them or clone it, preferably both. I find a lot of times my creatures will accumulate multiple counters, so shedding a few makes 0 difference. If marchesa gets tucked, this card also allows mikaeus to shine at the helm is awesome fashion, letting you reset your board for a single black.

I'm not sure I understand the inclusion of Liliana of the Veil. She is a solid card but I don't see the synergy and in multiplayer won't she just easily draw too much hate?
It seems like there could be something else in her slot, but if you could elaborate on her inclusion please.

@Prince_Reyson

I don't have quite the extensive card list you do, so was thinking about slotting him in for one of the other hard to get ones.

Legacy|4fun|4fun|Modern|Frontier|StandardThey were both actually not that great in testing them.

My biggest issue so far is that everyone seems to out ramp me and deal with anything I play.
Do you think there is a place to put demonic tutor in this deck?
Lately I am running:
Marchesa
Nekusar
Absolutely, I run sage of hours as a cute combo piece, I would cut that first if you need space for it.

Grim Haruspex - Add some card draw for our stuff dying.
Have you found anything else worthy of testing?

*Rest of the fetches i can run
These seem incredible for the deck, just not sure of my cuts yet.
Worth testing:
Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker - A 5 cost indestructable attacker with evasion that grows and has removal built in seems amazing, not sure I'd like it over any other finishers though.
Retribution of the Ancients - Not sure if this could be incredible or just outright awful. I'm not sure, probably the latter but I'm going to try it at least.
Everything else in Khans to me is just absolute crap, I won't be cracking packs even to draft this garbage.

Clever Impersonator will simply be good in any blue deck! Awesome card
Retribution of the Ancients won't be good in this deck. If we were running green then of course I'd consider it, but getting counters on our own guys is hard enough let alone expendable counters.
Clever Impersonator is the bee's knees. Instant staple.

It seems like there could be something else in her slot, but if you could elaborate on her inclusion please.
