What do you guys think about Lim-Dul's Vault? Seems like it offers some pretty powerful card selection for a pretty low cost. We have a lot of redundancy, so if we are looking for something like a board clear or a big planeswalker, it could work quite well! It's also an instant!

Thats a really interesting suggesting and I'm going to have to think about it.
WHITE: Hour of Revelation - I think this card is decent, but I would rather avoid destroying all of our planeswalkers, too.
BLUE: (...)
BLACK: Bontu's Last Reckoning - This card is "okay", but I think there difference of having a 3-mana wrath and a 4-mana wrath in EDH isn't THAT significant, and the drawback is pretty big.
RED: (...)
GREEN: Hour of Promise - Actually really interesting card. While I don't run any deserts (at least right now), a five mana ramp spell that grabs ANY two lands is pretty significant (even if they come in to play tapped). Early game it's a ramp spell, grabbing two dual lands, or even Reflecting Pool, but late game you can grab some important cards like Kor Haven, Maze of Ith, etc. I'll keep my eye on this.
Nicol Bolas, the Deceiver - Probably the most interesting planeswalker deck planeswalker card yet, but that's not saying much.
Samut, the Tested - I've gotten used to seeing the occasional RG planeswalker that's super creature heavy, it's basically clockwork at this point.
COLORLESS: (...)
LANDS: (...)
DECK CHANGES: Oath of Liliana -> Nicol Bolas, God-Pharaoh - I want to bring my planeswalker count up to 25, because eventually I would get here and going forward I can just switch out planeswalkers, so that's why I'm not dropping a planeswalker instead. As for Oath, it's been pretty underwhelming but I'll keep somewhat of an eye on it and other cards that may underperform in the deck.
Enlightened Tutor -> Jace, Architect of Thought - A lot of people brought up the interaction between Samut, the Tested and Doubling Season and I think this is just a better interaction. I often times find myself cracking off Ral Zarek from Doubling Season and then winning, and I think this is a lot like that, too, I think I have enough tutors between the main black ones and then also Wargate. I think I'm also capping planeswalker types at 3, so new Jace's have to replace what we have now.
Also, what do you normally use Yawgmoth's Will for? It seems pretty similar to Regrowth in this deck, unless I'm missing something.
Well it is, but you can cast multiple cards off of it. Say you're sitting on like 12 mana, you can cast it, and get back a Doubling Season and a planeswalker.
As for Lim, definitely still thinking about it because I'm not 100% sold yet.
Path of Ancestry looks like a slam dunk for deck (if you're lacking ABUR duals, that is).
Also, there's a cool new combo with Teferi's Protection, Lethal Vapors, and Grand Abolisher. I am hoping we can find a non-creature replacement for the Abolisher, because this would be a sweet alternative win condition.
Teferi's protection is also pretty sweet with Narset, Transcendent.
The planeswalker uniqueness rule is gone! You can now play all the Jaces you want! Very curious to see what changes could arise. I'm going to strongly consider Captain Sisay

I saw, very exciting but I still don't feel justified to run Captain Sissay with all of my creature hate. That being said, she's pretty insane in superfriends decks.
Opinions on Jace? Honestly think he's terrible lol
With the PW's being legends now...worth to put Reki, History of Kamigawa somewhere in the 99?
I've been considering Reki for my list since the rule was made official. I think he is comparable to Captain Sisay in a super friends deck.
So I've been running a Sultai list for awhile, but I'm thinking of expanding it to 4 colors for Yidris (guess I don't like white lol). Here is the list I'm thinking of:
I run a lot of sweepers in this deck, and I think it works out all right. I'm looking for any suggestions for red cards I might be overlooking.
I'm considering leaning more into artifacts to run things like Daretti, Scrap Savant, Saheeli Rai, and the Artifact Lands. I'm also considering Oath of Chandra, which doesn't seem very good on paper, but just activating it once in a four player game is 9 damage for 2 mana. It could add up.
Hey everyone! Sorry I've been busy and haven't been playing that much, but I am supposed to today, and it is spoiler season! Lots of interesting stuff, lots of sort of exciting stuff.
Vraska - Eh, she seems okay. Her ultimate is arguably worse than her former card's ultimate in multiplayer, since this is target. That being said, it definitively sets a player to 0. 6-mana is a bit too. A 2/2 isn't bad, but is it enough for a 6 drop? Compared to something like Elspeth, Sun's Champion. Her minus is decent, and if you think about it, you can possibly activate it twice so that's two Maelstrom Pulse-like effects.
Blue DFC Land - Definitely interesting, but is it good enough? I guess it does help you filter when needed, and then when it flips, you get a pretty good effect. I'll think about it!
Legendary Change - This has pushed me to make up a list with creatures, Atraxa seems best. I'll release it along with my set update.
Also for those who like to play counterspells, Mana Drain reprint!! Woohooo!
Just wanted to say thanks for such a great thread. I'm looking into 5c siperfriends as an addition to my edh decklists.
Has anyone tried Ramos, Dragon Engine in their commander spot? He's what I'm looking at currently. I just think the mana aspect could be quite good, or would I be better to be focussing on land/artifact ramp only?

Glad to see someone else playing and contributing!
As for Ramos, I haven't. Honestly I haven't played with anyone besides Sliver Queen. That being said, I rarely ever cast Sliver Queen. One thing that's good about Sliver Queen is that she is a 7/7, so that means a 3 turn clock when you need to win the game. Ramos is sort of interesting in that regard, as he can also be beefed up by casting spells.
As for his ability, it seems okay but possibly not worth it. I would definitely like to try another commander sometime, maybe him, but I'm not sure.
I'm going to try out Overburden and Sunder in my Sultai list, I thought they might be worth mentioning as budget options for the true 5 color list.
In 5 color if you were going to play Sunder, you would probably want Jokulhaups instead, but Sunder is marginally more "friendly". Instant speed also never hurts.
Overburden seems like pretty strong anti-creature tech, might be worth considering for the main list. The Oracle text also specifies non-token, which is pretty huge for us.

Overburden could be better in a bit of a budget deck, but I think overall it seems sort of weak. Maybe it's my meta, but I'm just not too sure how much it'll slow down other players, compared to something like Tainted Aether.
Pendrell Mist I would say avoid. Tabernacle really is only good in its 0 mana form.
Apparently casting Time Warp and Temporal Manipulation as 5 mana explores to find land drops to cast Time Spiral gets people salty. Other highlights, Ral Zarek won all 5 flips on MTGO. Not frigging kidding. Ended up winning with an Elspeth Knight-Errant emblem with Elspeth, Sun's Champion + Rings of Brighthearth out (love that legendary rule). Oh and taking like 6 turns in a row. That helped.
You would use this card in a commander deck? Only if you knew beforehand with which player you play against....It will not see play imo.
Well, it depends. I could definitely see people in a meta with a lot of planeswalkers playing it. As for the other abilities, they're pretty good overall. Not the greatest, but Phyrexian Arena + Reduce all your spells + a buff is pretty good.

compared to Vraska the Unseen, this is one more mana but all three abilities are a little bit better and it starts with and gains more loyalty.

Finally got a game in but I still love the deck.
