Some other Conspiracy cards caught my eye for Marath lists:
Selvala's Stampede Selective card draw and it dumps permanents onto the battlefield. It can just win the game when it hits combo pieces or you already have them in hand. Regal Behemoth Draws you a card and is a one sided, but conditional, mana doubler. Marath lists should be better at poking/not getting poked than random other lists because of tokens and deathtouch effects on Marath.
Has an anyone played with these or have other gems they'd like to offer? I'm running new Selvala after finding a $2 copy at a collectibles shop, but I haven't gotten to cast her yet.
Took mine in a bit of a different direction, very staxy. With a good hand it feels insane, with a mediocre hand it's still great. I love this deck very much.

Interesting list. Probably not enough elves for Priest of Titania to do work. Xenagos, Nature's Will, and Mana Echoes produce a ton of mana for me, but my configuration likes tokens in general. Bellringer strikes me as bad; I get that you're using it for Kikki and Twin, but it seems pretty useless on its own. Skyshroud Elf is fantastic fixing. Stoneforge Mystic fetches Skullclamp, which you're running, plus Basilisk Collar, Lightning Greaves, and Illusionist's Bracers, which you could be running. According to tappedout you're not running any basic mountains, which I think is wrong.
I play Magus of the Moon like every game, mountains ain't my issue

Just a small bump to ask Airithne for opinions about the new AER cards. Or anyone else
A quick run through of the spoiler didn't show anything noteworthy for Token Marath strategies. Although less common Marath archetypes got a fee new option
Midrange Marth decks have a few new options. The most noticeable is Felidar Guardian. It's really good any deck that runs Birthing Pod. It serves all the same functions that Restoration Angel does while also filling the niche roles that were previously held by Heartmender and Dross Scorpion. Felidar Guardian allows Birthing Pod to turn any three mana creature into a KikiConscripts finish. Although KikiGuardian will also work. Felidar Guardian and Restoration Angel can also blink each other forever to burn people with Purphoros, God of the Forge. Less interesting but equally useful, Felidar Guardian can also untap Priest of Titania, Gaea's Cradle, and activate Xenagos, the Reveler and Garruk Wildspeaker twice per turn. A step by step procedure for the Felidar Guardian-Birthing Pod chain is under the spoiler bellow.

Creature heavy Midrange Marath lists can also make use of Renegade Rallier and Lifecrafter's Bestiary. I haven't looked into the combo potential Renegage Rallier may or may not have but should always be a decent value play which is good enough. Lifecrater's Bestiary is a good draw engine for creature heavy lists. It's also mana intensive. It will be pretty good with Priest of Titania mana package though. If you aren't running a Mana Elf package or are running a token list than Mentor of the Meek will be better.
Paradox Engine is excellent and should be considered in any deck running green. Priest of Titania and Elvish Archdruid can produce large amounts of mana very quickly. Pardox Engine and Earthcraft are match made in heaven. With these two cards and a draw engine online you should be able to play your entire deck. Paradox Engine is also strong with Cryptolith Rite and Rishkar, Peema Renegade although there are a few more stipulations to achieve the same success.
Rishkar, Peema Renegade has potential to be a decent card. It's best in decks that focus on a +1/+1 counter theme, but there are fewer hoops to jump through since Marath can share his +1/+1 counters. This card looks to best in decks running Cathars' Crusade or Ivy Lane Denizen. Token decks that run one of those cards probably the most likely to put Riskaar to good use.
Super Friends list got a couple of new additions. Oath of Ajani is phenomenal for the archtype. Ajani Unyielding also seems to be a decent planeswalker. He provides card advantage, removal, and cool ultimate. This Ajani is a little expensie though. A lot of other people are excited about Maulfist Revolutionary for this archetype. I don't see the hype. It adds a single loyalty counter to a single planeswalker. I don't think its worth it.
Treasure Keeper and Servo Schematic exist for the more obscure Stax Marath lists out there. I've never played the archtype before so I can't provide much more commentary but those two cards are good in theory.
New players picking up Marath for the first time may want to pick up a copy of Ajani, Valiant Protector. Since this Ajani comes in its own theme deck it should be pretty accessible to all players. It's not a strong planeswalker but it has enough impact see play in Commander. If you need to "draw" cards you use the +1 ability and if you need to "recast" Marath then use the +2 ability. If you're a new player and think playing with some planeswalker would be fun than you should pick this up.
Aid from the Cowl and Rishkar's Expertise are worth looking into. They both seem good in decks with a lot of fatties. Aid from the Cowl could be good in token decks or Skullclamp friendly decks. The effectiveness of these cards is dependent on deck construction. These are both card advantage engines and I think there better options than these. They are playable but I'll pass on using them.
As the post above me notes, there's a lot of potential additions, it all just depends on what you run. I'm looking into Rishkar's Expertise for my own list, I haven't really set my eyes on anything other than that, though I plan on picking up a Paradox Engine to test out at some point, as well as Lifecrafter's Bestiary.
I did make a small adjustment to my list, however:
How useful would Metallic Mimic be (usually naming elemental) in the deck?
I wouldn't want it for the same reason I don't run anthems in general, it strands Marath on the battlefield. If you want to pump your token horde I would run something like Glory of Warfare, True Conviction or Shared Animosity instead.

Metallic Mimic only causes the chosen creature type (in this case, elemental) to enter the battlefield with an additional +1/+1 counter rather than a static anthem effect, so killing of Marath isn't a concern here. It certainly has potential, I'll have to look in to playtesting it.
Well, I could see 2 cards off the top of my head that would work in a tokens build. Anointed Procession and Oketra's Monument. Some builds might also see some value in running Throne of the God-Pharaoh though that deck is more of a build around effect.. Maybe the 2 bicycle lands. And for anyone that is going the Kiki-twin route, there's Combat Celebrant to add next to Conscripts and Great Oak...
So, yeah, there ARE a few tools in this set, but not so much if you've fully tuned the deck.
I've been able to constantly get two+ lands with Harvest season, so I'm swapping it in over Kodama's Reach. I may run both at some point, but I'm pretty happy with this change currently. For Confluence, I was primarily using it's recursion mode, and Seasons Past is just better at that job. The card is a serious power house.
For new cards, I picked up a copy of Hour of Promise. The ability to straight tutor for Gaea's Cradle and another land seem like a pretty solid upside. I may throw in Deserted Temple at that point, I'm just looking at where to put it.

Anointed Procession definitely needs to be added to the token section, at least.
Anyone attempting to run Settle the Wreckage in Marath? I'm considering testing it out in Marath, as it can be used defensively to stop a huge attack, or I can use it when I attack with a number of tokens to ramp myself heavily. It also fits in nicely with a small Sunforger package I run.
This is me posting a big ol' thank you for such an amazingly in-depth primer and even decklist for what is now my favourite commander. Before I was struggling in a semi-casual commander league with Trostani, and now I've gone from going from 1-2 wins (three games a week) every three weeks to twice a week! I look forward to seeing this updated going forward.
EDIT: Also, what are your thoughts about Growing Rites of Itlimoc/Itlimoc, Cradle of the Sun? Obviously not many people have the money for a Gaeas Cradle, but do you see this worth subbing out a land or something for this?

Hey there guys. I had a Marath deck since it was released, but have sided it for 2 years anda i wanted to play it again. I have noticed that some cards have been added and it changed a lot since then. Does anyone have an updated stock list?
In the last couple of sets, we've gotten some incredibly powerful ramp cards, that I've added in. Soul of Theros and Gavony Township are both useful cards, but are lower impact than the cards they're trading for overall, and ramp is extremely useful with the more combo-esque approach I've taken with my current list.
I will also be working to import this in to our new deckbuilder. There will be a link in the deck section for anyone who wishes to look at thinks like cost break downs.

What kind of strategy are you looking for? I'm also sorry for missing this. My notifications for subscriptions are still really borked and frequently not notifying me.
In general, what are the most flexible card slots in the current decklist? There are a lot of strategies to try out with Marath but I'm not always sure what cards to take out. The following is a list of cards I'd like to test:
Wild Beastmaster
Aurelia, the Warleader
Voice of Resurgence
Trostani, Selesnya's Voice
Gisela, Blade of Goldnight
Rhys the Redeemed
I took out Gaea's Cradle for a Forest, and the ABUR duals for a Mountain, Plains, and Forest. Sounds good? Are the fast lands (Copperline Gorge, Razorverge Thicket), the Amonkhet cycling lands (Sheltered Thicket, Scattered Groves, they also carry the basic land type), or the two missing check lands (Sunpetal Grove, Rootbound Crag) worth including? If so, what should be taken out?
Also, there's a typo in the non-basic land section. I believe "tapped" should be "untapped" in both the section about Cinder Glade/Canopy Vista and Clifftop Retreat.

A good deal of my list is more generically good cards, so it's kind of up to your discretion how you want adjust a deck to more fit in to a theme. Originally, I had less toolbox-y good stuff cards and more of a focus on tokens, and then tuned it form there based on what I enjoyed playing.
What creature type do I pick for Cavern of Souls?
I name either Beast or Elemental, because Marath is the thing I want to resolve most in the deck, given how many cards I've devoted to using his abilities. Which one you pick depends on which of those two types you want to resolve. I personally name Beast, because it also covers Craterhoof Behemoth. However, I've also used it mid to late game to resolve cards like Linvala or Elesh Norn as well, so it can be a bit more situational.

Yes! I run the higher end lands because I happen to already own them, but it's more important to make sure you can reliably access your colors. The fastlands I consider to be a little worse than the cycling lands if your games go on for longer, but if you want to slot those kinds of cards in, I'd actually look at the slots you cut for the ABUR duals and Gaea's Cradle.
The check lands are definitely grade. I only don't run them because I replaced mine with the two allied Tango lands when they were released, because I run the fetchlands to make them more valuable than the checks are well less fetches.
And thank you, I'll double check the typo. I wrote this on mobile, originally so there's probably some stuff I missed when cleaning it up.
A big BUMP for this deck because I think Battlebond will be having lots of treats for our horned friend. Thoughts?
I'm gonna have to dig through the whole spoiler. I didn't see anything other than (potentially) Pir, Imaginative Rascal that struck me as a potential add, but this set has a few new mechanics that I'm not really sure how they'll play out. The biggest boon this set gets is probably the two allied dual lands. They don't have basic land types, but they're a really solid include for EDH players who can't afford things like ABUR duals.
What I am seeing so far: Play of the Game : Extra anti planeswalker tech / extra Planar Cleansing Regna's Sanction : Possible finisher for an alpha strike Together Forever : This one is tricky. It can save Marath on late game, possibly on a turn that the deck combos out, or it can save key creatures like Ivy Lane Denizen or Nightshade Peddler using Marath's ability. Rowan Kenrith : Her emblem is interesting if it manages to stick. PWs tend to die easily in EDH so I am not sure. Pir, Imaginative Rascal: Extra Doubling Season for counters. Bramble Sovereign: Not sure if he fits yet, but I think some lists will want him. Grothama, All-Devouring: Not on the deck's theme but the mana cost tempts me to see if I can use him somehow. Archon of Valor's Reach: I would like to test him naming Instant or Planeswalker to see how effective he is. Not very confident though.
