I recently acquired an Oloro, ageless ascetic and decided his ability was pretty straight forward and fun. I decided to build the most straight forward deck I could. I was inspired by combining him with everything Extort and without further ado here is my deck.
For the sake of mana count I do consider the 3 copy artifact cards, Cloud Key, and Etherium Sculptor Manafacts to bring the count of artifact mana at 42 and the count of lands at 37 giving me a hefty 79 cards that produce mana in this deck.
The basic strategy of the deck is:
1) Drop manafacts
2) Drop Oloro turn 3-4
3) Drop 2x Extort cards
4) Cast manafacts extort 2x oloro 2x yields(in a 4 player game) 2 cards 6 lifegain and 4 lifeloss per manafact cast.
Once you get the extort synergy going you rebuild the hand that you dumped quickly to play Oloro. I built the deck purposely without Tutors or boardwipes. I play around creature wipes by only playing 2 extorters at a time. I hope to get my Darksteel forge or kill my opponents before they can kill my artifacts. This is my deck I play when I want a game that I don't care for winning or losing although it has shown to be pretty strong. If my general gets tucked, oh well maybe he won't next game.
Most people will tell you they barely, rarely play Oloro. I do not see you running Cavern of Souls and I'm sure people will be looking to counter him, tuck him into your library, or kill him on side due to his powerful ability to draw cards and gain even more life.
With so many artifacts, running recrussion would be so useful -- to get back artifacts.
Perhaps adding the swords could really help as your creatures aren't exactly powerhouses. Most do not have immediate board pressence or can be ignored completly.
I do not see a win-con without Oloro. At all.
Perhaps some X casting cost spells to sink that mana into.
