So I'm thinking I want to add a Ranger of Eos package. I'm a big fan of things like this, hence the goblin package, imperial recruiter package, equipment package, and sunforger package.
I already run Goblin Welder.
I think my other additions would be
Weathered Wayfarer lets you get Mistveil for Sunforger, Slayers' Stronghold for obvious reasons, and Inkmoth for a nice way to use swords once your creatures are tucked.
Figure of Destiny is another one to consider, maybe not your style, but a good target for Ranger.
I'm not too keen on Legion Loyalist, he may make the cut someday if I decide I need the trample.
I also feel like I would never have the mana, even with a couple rocks out. The deck is very mana hungry and always has a lot of things to do.
I can see your point. Legion Loyalist is an all-star in my Tajic games, because he is a goblin, haste, and trample is very good with a voltron strategy.

Being a goblin is relevant, so is haste and so is giving things trample. My biggest problem is that I rarely win with Tajic.
One of the main reasons is because a particular player in my group plays a dedicated combo deck that is tutors, answers (so many answers) and combo pieces. And he LOVES to kill my generals.
So Tajic gets condemned, unmaked, Path to Exiled, Swords to Plowshared, Black Sun's Zenith for 2, Tragic Slipped, Oblationed, Chaos Warped, Hindered, Spell Crumpled, etc etc. (Just by that one player, not mentioning the other guys)
I think I've only won through general damage once. It's mostly through just small advantages and I have a lot of synergy engines that build me up a winning board position.
The last game it was with Cathars' Crusade with Krenko, Kiki-Jiki, Siege Gang Commander, and Hero of Bladehold.
It's funny though cause that guy always blows his answers really early, and things like that happen.

This makes me laugh, because it mirrors my experience. He gets tucked routinely. Funny, because at first glance, indestructible seems so strong, but in this format it's really not. In fact I played at a DGM sealed event at a house this past weekend and I pulled a Tajic. In a limited environment, people had ways of giving him -2/-2 for a turn, or exiling him, and he got binned every time.
It's why I think of him more as a way for me to blow up the world and keep an advantage as opposed to having him be hard for others to get rid of.
The other advantage, as you have learned, is once people have gotten rid of him for the game, you go way down on the threat radar and if you have a deck built to win without him, you are in a pretty good spot.
Yea, indestructible isn't that great, sure he dodges the ten wraths that get thrown around but my group packs really diverse removal. But I like that he is cheap compared to the other boros general and that he gets big for when he does manage to stick around.
He may not be super strong for my regular playgroup but he absolutely wrecks when I play with other groups. And the best part is, he doesn't really pack any of the things that people regularly complain about, so I don't have to listen to the moaning.
I'm sure it seems weird that I'm not packing any Armageddon effects, especially since Tajic does it so well and the fact it's the strongest part about RW, but I already have a deck that does that. I don't want to feel like I'm playing the same deck, cause why would I even make new ones.

Me and a friend recently built a Tajic deck for a buddy of ours and can say that the indestructible is actually a lot better than I thought it would be.

I suppose Mileage may vary but my group packs a ton of removal and very diverse answers. He apparently is very imposing as I hardly ever get to swing with him.

The indestructibility is one of the main reasons I run him. The +5/5 is gravy. I use him with relative success in a boros equipment voltron build that would run pretty well with any low cost creature.

While my deck looks pretty voltron-y, the equipment usually gets put on other creatures. Voltron type strategies tend to be lackluster here as 'putting all your eggs in one basket' tends to get you blown out.

Since you already have the Kiki-Jiki-Zealous Conscripts combo going, maybe Restoration Angel makes sense?
The Kiki-Jiki/Conscripts combo is a by-product of both cards being good on their own. Conscripts can do all kinds of work such as helping trigger battalion, stealing Planes walkers, and stupid enchantments (Omniscience) and a ton of other uses.
I really have no interest in combo-ing with them. I already have a combo deck. If it happens, it happens but I'm not actively trying to combo. I have no use for Restoration Angel other than the combo.

Resto still seems pretty decent on its own. Blinks Sun Titan, Duplicant, Solemn, Siege Gang, Recruiter, Matron, etc.
Can possibly even blank a removal spell on Tajic if you care.
Ehh, not too worried if Tajic gets removed. It's kind of funny, that one guy in my group acts like he has just done the worst thing he could possibly do to my deck if he kills the general. And then I proceed to win anyways.
I can blink all that with Kiki-Jiki. The real reason Angel would be included would be to combo and I'm just not looking to do that with this deck. I try to make my decks as varied as possible so it keeps things interesting for me.

If I had to choose one, it'd probably be Mad Prophet (but I also have Imperial Recruiter to fetch him if needed)

Repeatable Blocker, Great with Skullclamp, and is awesome with the looters. I'd say he's doing pretty good.
The champion is neat. Anything with shadow holds equipment really well. Dunno if'd want him here, but he's definitely neat.

I already run Goblin Welder.
I think my other additions would be
and then either
Weathered Wayfarer
or
Mother of Runes.
Thoughts?
Also whenever I get a chance I'll write some things up in the OP.

How I know I should build a deck:
I thought about Figure of Destiny but as far as beaters go, I think Serra Ascendant is better. And I don't want too many 1 drops.
I'll make cuts sometime today.

I am not too sure on Figure of Destiny after playing a couple of games with it. I never had enough spare mana to pump it up to either 4/4 or 8/8 form.
