So, I was remodeling a deck I was designing for Duel Commander and thought it's more appropriate to make this a multiplayer based list, with a limited number of lands, but more so cantrip spells and the like, so without further ado here's the Talrand, Sky Summoner list presented as is.
So the basic premise of the deck is to cantrip, control and be the master of the board, while maintaining your board presence, this originally had 2 of the most expensive blue cards in the game, Force of Will and Snapcaster Mage due to inconsistency overall and the fact it was getting boring always forcing myself to keep either or in hand.
This surprisingly is a 30 land deck, meaning 61 cards of the deck are spells, costing as high as 4 CMC overall, so anything beyond a 2 lander is a snap keep due to the fact your going to cycle through the deck in a matter of a few turns and fix yourself up to win for the long game, the Psychic Spiral only exists to reshuffle the deck again, since I'd rather not have to throw any useless cards into the deck, let's make it a spell, an instant speed spell at that, any thoughts?
May I suggest, Faces of the Past? Very good with all your tokens, and also very good against tribals, which are quite common among casual edh players. Its ability is versatile enough to make it, IMO.
polymorph version is pretty sweet. Poly hits archaeomancer. Archaeomancer grabs poly. polymorph another bird, hit scrivener or mnemonic wall. Run 5 take an extra turn effects. Run ghostly flicker and the blue tutors + transmute.
Gravitational Shift is a pretty good way to do some serious damage, so yeah I'll end up just cutting Strata Scythe for that sucker, I have to get a second copy of tower, probably the promo art, so yeah and Coastal Piracy that card I feel doesn't belong in this deck, I've got enough four drops in here already
Please try and run coastal piracy before you say it doesn't belong. Your 1 casting cost cantrips will net you like 6 birds ~ish before a wrath /removal. If you get in once and draw 6 cards you will see why it is so good for the deck. It refills your hand with more bird creators. You can literally spend 0 cards and one mana to make a drake and then attack to get a card and make a drake. YO DAWG i herd you like drakes, and now you can drake while you drake.
On psichic spiral try mnemonic nexus instead. Most edh decks have some amount of synergy with their yard, and spiral just fills their yard.

The problem is that I don't want my opponents to have all their stuff back and want to keep them from resources, so Spiral is a better option here as a backup plan in case somehow things go awry.
Though you are correct, Choking Tethers is a easy cut here for Coastal Piracy, due to it's shenigans and such, I'll try another 4 drop enchantment in this deck and if it doesn't work out, then switch it back
