Sarkhan's unsealing is not very good because it does nothing with creatures with the power of 3 or less, and is not a creature.
Similar cloudstone combos already exist in form of (where X is a colourless creature):
Ulamog + X
Purphoros + X + X
Oblivion Sower + X
As for Vivien's inclusion, do you run these:
caustic caterpillar
ainok survivalist
world breaker
I'd easily play those 3 in the deck before putting non-creature methods to deal with Torpor Orb; even consider playing Krosan Grip/Nature's Claim before a planeswalker. While I understand your list may not be excessively competitive, Ainok Survivalist and Caustic Caterpillar should be a near auto-include in all Animar decks due to the ability to tutor for them.
Spellseeker looks fantastic in Animar - Cyclonic Rift as well! Excellent.
If you want to run something like Sarkhan's Unsealing, you'd be better off running Pandemonium or Warstorm Surge that triggers off EVERYTHING you play. Much of Animar in the first few turns is casting low cc creatures to ramp up to an explosive single turn that wipes the table, or at least puts you far ahead. If you're getting a Sarkhan's Unsealing trigger off Craterhoof Behemoth, you don't need it.
I'd really, really fight internally about any noncreature card going into Animar that doesn't win you the game or come very close to it (or can be cast turn 1, like Chrome Mox or Hardened Scales).
Vivian is ok: her -3 is versatile. But you would spend 5 mana that Animar does not help reduce in any way on a removal spell, essentially. Plus, she would only use that every other turn because of her loyalty. I run Reclamation Sage and Bane of Progress (because it's hilarious and completely shuts down so many decks). Tetrahedral's suggestions are excellent as well.

It's not in my nature to be mysterious, but I can't talk about it and I can't talk about why.
I was playing around with the Imperial Recruiter - Kiri-Onna combo a little while ago and found that I could pull it off with only 3 lands. Granted, it complicates the combo quite a bit, but I though it was cool so I thought I'd share.
Prerequisites:
a. Animar in play with 2+ counters
b. 3 untapped lands. 1: R, 2: U, 1: G
c. Imperial Recruiter in hand
d. 12 life to spare
------------> RUU Available
1. Play Imperial Recruiter, fetching Phyrexian Metamorph -> Animar = 3 counters [R]
2. Play Phyrexian Metamorph, copying Imperial Recruiter, fetching Kiri-Onna [2L]
3. Play Kiri-Onna, bouncing Phyrexian Metamorph [U]
4. Play Phyrexian Metamorph, copying Kiri-Onna, bouncing Kiri-Onna and [2L]
Phyrexian Metamorph
5. Play Phyrexian Metamorph, copying Imperial Recruiter, fetching Peregrine [2L]
Drake
6. Play Peregrine Drake, Untapping 3 Lands [U]
------------> UUG Available
7. Play Kiri-Onna, bouncing Phyrexian Metamorph [U]
8. Play Phyrexian Metamorph, copying Kiri-Onna, bouncing Kiri-Onna and [2L]
Phyrexian Metamorph
9. Play Phyrexian Metamorph, copying Imperial Recruiter, fetching Wood Elves [2L]
10. Play Wood Elves, fetching an untapped Forest that can produce U [G]
(ie. Breeding Pool)
------------> UU Available, +1 Land
11. Play Kiri-Onna, bouncing Phyrexian Metamorph [U]
12. Play Phyrexian Metamorph, copying Kiri-Onna, bouncing Kiri-Onna and [2L]
Phyrexian Metamorph
13. Play Phyrexian Metamorph, copying Peregrine Drake, untapping 4 Lands [U]
------------> UUU + R/U/G Available
14. Play Kiri-Onna, bouncing Phyrexian Metamorph [U]
15. Play Phyrexian Metamorph, copying Kiri-Onna, bouncing Kiri-Onna and [U]
Phyrexian Metamorph
16. Tap 4th land, floating 1 mana of a type that land can produce
17. Play Phyrexian Metamorph, copying Peregrine Drake, untapping 4 Lands [U]
------------> UUU + R/U/G Available
18. Repeat steps 14 through 17, floating 1 mana each time. This builds an
arbitrarily large animar and an infinite amount of mana in whatever
colours the 4th land can produce (Usually R and G). Alternatively,
once infinite R/G mana has been produced, you may use Phyrexian
Metamorph to copy Wood Elves to fetch another forest that can produce
blue mana (if you have one), or you may copy Imperial Recruiter,
fetching Farhaven Elf and fetching a basic Island if infinite blue
mana is required and not yet available to you.
Finisher:
Once infinite Animar and infinite mana has been accomplished, there are a multitude of ways I like to kill my opponents.
- Imperial Recruiter -> Fierce Empath -> Brutalizer Exarch -> Purphoros. Use Recruiter to get Elvish Visionary or
another ETB draw effect to draw and play Purphoros and blast everyone with infinite ETB triggers (I believe
infinite blue mana is required for this)
- Imperial Recruiter -> Trophy Mage -> Cloudstone Curio. Then Recruiter -> Fierce Empath -> Ulamog, the Ceaseless
Hunger. Copy Fierce Empath to get Oblivion Sower and proceed to exile all opponents permanents and libraries
(Infinite blue mana required)
- And probably the simplest one: Imperial Recruiter -> Walking Ballista. Play walking Ballista for a billion and
ping everyone down to 0
Plus whatever other wincons people like to use.
Now as said previously, this combo is pretty convoluted, but I think the convoluted combos are the most fun as they showcase interesting card interactions the best (at least in my opinion). Anyway, let me know what you guys think

SonofaBith - Wizards was so excited about making the packaging for Modern Masters 2 recyclable, they decided to make most of the rares and all but 1 of the UC's recycle-bin ready too. Convenient!
Agree absolutely with Beast Whisperer. Also triggers on cast, not ETB, which IMO makes it better than Soul of the Harvest. Also seen others recommend Dark-Dweller Oracle in order to give extra value to some of the early creatures that serve little purpose later in the game.
Haven't play tested Dark-Dweller yet.

I agree but with a modification, IMO it's definitely better than Soul of the Harvest, as for wording though it's a cheaper Primordial Sage. I'll be finding a foil for my list very soon.
